A very beautiful place beside the Ganges. A large ground is available for picnic. But the place should be property maintained. The place is very dirty. It should be clean and property maintained.

Save nature . It's such a good & beautiful place ..but in winter season lots of people came here for picnic and they get dirty this place and geting harm trees . people destroy this nature । Please save this place it's my humble request. This place linked with dr. Jagadish Chandra Bose And many famous person . It's my humble request please save this place .

Good place for hangout. Nice environment with huge cool breeze specially in the afternoon. This is also a famous picnic spot during winter. There is also one banglow for the tourists. Huge ground with ghat beside the river of Ganges. Its take 10mins walking distance from Fuleswar station in Howrah-Kharagpur Railway.

Very Nice Place, Clean Suite Rooms for Government Employees here... You can surely visit here but booking is necessary and it takes some charges to book it. Well, I got it for free 😉

This place is okay for picnic. Out side area is so vast and nicely decorated (not perfectly). The rooms are very large also the dining. Problem is that the rooms are very old so the furniture. Location is beautiful just behind of Ganges. But since the river bank used as picnic spot, it is very dirty. Paper plates and glasses can be seen everywhere. Overall you can enjoy fully here for one day, the place is not great but good.

It's a nice location situated on the bank of two rivers. It was a decent experience to spend a few hours on the riverside. A cool breeze was flowing giving us a relief in this intense hot condition. It's not a distant place from Kolkata. An hour and a half drive from Kolkata will take you there.

Situated at a nice location within walking distance from Fuleshwar railway station. There is a big ground and trees beside the river bank. It is a very beautiful place. The only issue is with maintenance. There should be deployment of security guards and enforcement of better rules and regulations by the concerned administration to maintain the beauty of this place at the months of picnic.

A beautiful place absolutely ideal for a weekend trip with family and friends. Although there is an irrigation bungalow you have to get prior booking for accommodation.

Phuleswar Inspection Bungalow run by WB Govt. Irrigation Dept is located on the bank of River Ganges. Pre Booking from Bikash Bhavan located in Salt Lake, Kolkata is a must. Foods can he made available through the Caretaker provided you contact them earlier. Otherwise, you have to rely on local road side restaurants. This Bungalow compound has a picnic spot as well. With prior permission, People can organize picnic in this place It's very close to Phuleswar Railway Station. However, approaching by car from the Kolkata Bombay Expressway is a bit difficult because of very narrow local road, too much congestion of local traffic and pedestrian.

Very good for one day picnic spot on winter..you can enjoy with nature..you can see steamer on big river near this Banglo..you can enjoy by watching boat man who are cathching fish, left side of the river children jumping at the time of bath...I every time enjoy the BANGLO scenery.specially good for who loves nature with river

I with my family went this bungalow to enjoy the new year occassion with a picnic plan.very natural place.this bungalow is on the bank of river Ganga .there is no entry fee in the bungalow...

This place is naturally good at the sunrise and sunset time.
