Hi Highly recommend this place for families who are wanting find a budget friendly park for kids. You can spend the entire day in here. They have 3 floor in this facility, each floor can take an hour, plus there are separate playing area for toodlers as well. They have shows as well and each show is for 20 -25 mins. Once you are done with the childre City you can spend the rest of the day at the large park area, there are kids playing area and good seating arrangement by the corniche. It would not even cost 100 AED to spend the entire day with family of 4 at this park. You can pack you food if you do not want to spend money on buying food inside the park.

This place has a looot of potential but it needs to be properly maintained. Please Dubai Municipality I would really suggest to take good care of it as it could really be an amazing place for kids. - most of the exhibitions do not work or are closed. - first floor is the best, do not waste your time in visiting the second floor. Nothing interesting, most of the activities are not working and there is no AC!!! - it looks really old, needs to be modernized - parking is an HUGE issue in summer, as there is a long way to the entrance without any shade - the entrance is inside a park, and hence you have to pay the park entrance even of you are only going to the Children’s city!! For example, I paid 5 aed extra per person for nothing because it was July and in the morning so I did not enjoy the park! Why do I have to pay extra just to cross the park? I clearly mentioned I was going to visit only the Children’s City

Very impressive for kids, my 6 years old and 3 years both enjoyed every minute. We stayed almost 3 hours and we left in tears. It is educational, this is not a amusement park with rides.

Children's City is a hidden gem in Dubai, near Healthcare City. An amazing place where kids have so many things to discover and play that it took us some time to take them out from there. Also, not all the facilities are open but what it is open worth the visit there. It is run by Dubai Municipality and entry is just AED 10/person + entry in the Creek Park. Make sure you have a NOL card to access Creek Park. In the pictures I posted, we were discussing about healthy eating and mainly how to keep a balanced diet. No worries, my kids eat cakes and burgers with fries, too, but everything is in moderation. We read about carbs and sugar and fat and what vitamins we get from fruits and vegetables. There is also an exhibition about life in the Gulf and traditional clothes. I really like how the desert life was recreated with sand caves, gazelles and household objects. Another popular area is the one about the human body where the kids can explore it and see how the blood is pumping depending on the activity: biking, walking, running. So many things to discover there and, hopefully, soon, will be fully open.

At first we thought it was a museum but then we realized it was a place for learning about everyday subjects and science. They have a play area for smaller kids and a library too. The key sections inside the learning spaces included some subjects about Middle East trade, desert survival, transportation, animals, cultures around the world, the human body and more. We totally underestimated the time we needed to spend there, if every section was to be observed and interacted with we needed about 3 to 4 hours or more. We visited after our time at the Dolphinarium next door so we realized we should have come here earlier. There are daily activities and a show at the mini planetarium, and some science shows like documentaries. There are fewer English program therefore it’s essential to check the schedule before visiting so that you can join at the right time. There’s a vending machine inside but not much options for food and drinks. A nice place to spend some time with kids. Adults might find it a little more boring if they aren’t getting involved in the learning.

An amazingly educative and fun place. The walk from the parking to the venue can be “hot” during the summer. We enjoyed it however, a few issues which we found a bit… out of order: 1. You need to pay entry ticket (5aed / person) when you enter the park. There is no way to get there without entering the park. While you buy the entry tickets into the park, you are also forced to buy a NOL card (AED 10) in order for you to be able to pass the gate…. It all sounds a bit useless and complicated for no reason. 2. The staff at the ticket counter (not in the park but in the actually “children city”) was pretty slow. While they were two (a lady and a gentleman) only one was selling tickets and that one was engage in customer service while the other one was observing the customer service. What’s the point of having two if they can’t compensate each other ?! 3. Loads of the activities are actually broken and not working. The “under Maintanance” sign is omnipresent while some, don’t work properly or at all, without the “under Maintanance” sign. All in all, it was a nice afternoon in a very educative way for the kids. Too bad they have no eating options. We would have stayed to eat. Total cost: - park entry for 3 - 15 AED - nol card to operate the park gate - 10 AED - entry into the children city for 3 - 40 AED (family pack which can have 2 kids and 2 adults).

We visited with our 2 year old son. We reached little late to explore everything. We visited first floor history museum of UAE History and culture. There is children’s play area on ground floor. We will definitely visit early next time to explore everything. My son enjoyed.

Nice place for both kids and their parents. The ground floor is dedicated to the toddlers while the first floor is exposition about the Middle East. The price is 15aed for an adult and 10aed for a child above the age of 2. Note there is an entrance fee for the park - in order to access Children city you have to go though a gate and enter a public park - 5 aed per person (if you are wiht a stroller it counts as 1). The park is well maintained so it is worth the price. In the same park you will find Dubai dolphinarium which makes it for a great weekend day outing- combining Children city and the Dolphinarium.

Children’s City has to be the most underrated children’s learning and play area in DXB. Admissions are approximately £2 per child which is next to nothing when you compare prices to larger well known attractions. The complex has three upper floors for learning and history based activities for children and the lower floor has a large bouncy castle and trampoline area. This is a must visit for all families visiting Dubai especially with young children 12 and under. You will not regret it !

Lovely place, good for educational purpose. I had tried to visit this place 2 weeks back and if you call them they on the number on the website they will say the last entry is at 6:30 and the place will close at 7. But the security and the staff at the entrance is very clear that the place will close at 6:30. So while we were there yesterday the lady at the Reception and the gentleman who issued the ticket at the counter left the place at 6:30 sharp. So please double check with them regarding the timing before heading to the place.

The place is very resourceful for children. They have different audio visual shows, Exhibits, and play area. Kids will enjoy their time there and get to learn new things.
