The breakfast at this 5-star hotel exceeded all expectations. The team's attention to detail and prompt service made the experience exceptional. From the delectable food options to the elegant setting, every aspect of the breakfast was truly top-notch. Specially Mr Satish & His Team, They are very active,focused & friendly to suggest whatever you need, They serve you just in time.

Hotel located in Bur Dubai district, close to Festival City and DXB airport. Perfectly trained staff from the entrance can show what "French" hospitality should look like. Upon check-in, a drink was offered to all guests. We had the option to choose a room. Upgrading a room is always a pleasant surprise, and despite the fact that it is not an additional cost for a hotel, it is a nice gesture towards a loyal Sofitel customer. It is worth taking advantage of both the La Veranda restaurant and the Club breakfast (excellent omelette). Most of the day, the pool is perfectly sunny and even on cooler days you can spend a lot of time here (the water is 29 degrees).

We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t fault any area. The rooms were spacious and always kept really clean, the staff were amazing. Always happy and always wanting to help in anyway. We had a problem with one of our flights and John at the concierge desk did everything he could to help. The food was amazing. We also ordered room service which I have to say was the best room service I’ve had. We had access to the club on level 51. Really worth paying the extra for this Close to the airport and about AU$15 to Dubai mall.

From check in to check, the service was superlative. Shout out to Vishal who ensured my room was prepped how I wanted it to Hermann, my porter. Such outstanding attitudes from staff can only catapult this lovely hotel into orbit. Greets kids club and the in room dining was on par to fine dining in a restaurant. That was totally unexpected, so the Chef during my stay deserves credit as well. I can’t wait to return! 🎉

The hotel was beautiful. It smelt amazing throughout the entire place. The service was perfect from the moment I got out of the car. Rooms are beautiful and spacious, pool is beautiful with the perfect water temperature. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, they have great coffee and excellent service particularly satish who was there every morning during my stay ensuring I was comfortable at breakfast. The cafe downstairs is so beautiful with delicious coffee and the yumiest/prettiest afternoon tea. I can't wait to return..

I loved everything about the place. The Rooms were spacious , the beds were comfortable, the interior design is outstanding , breakfast was delicious and the service was superb . I have tried the afternoon tea at Bijou Patisserie at the hotel , and it was the most amazing afternoon tea experience. We have been hosted by Ms. (Mar mar) , as she served us with courtesy and assessment. We highly appreciate her services and we are looking forward to come back again soon. Great new hotel, with beautiful interior and great scent in the halls and lobby. Rooms are spacious and bright. Bathroom products like shower gel etc are from Hermes and had a nice scent.l Service was generally fine. We received a small upgrade on the room, which was compensating for some lack of other services. Breakfast was good, nothing extraordinary but as you would expect for a 5* hotel. Location is okay, you can get around to most important spots with a cab quite quickly. Pool is a city pool, so we passed on checking it out. Would come again for a short stay.

No privacy in the rooms. Management didn't inform about glass cleaners, and one guy appeared in the window when I walked out of the bathroom. It was so embarrassing. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is not a great spread, but the food is good. The rooms are clean and nice—a good view of the city. I had a good sunrise view. Will not stay in rhis place again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Obelisk in Dubai, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with luxurious and well-appointed rooms that offer breathtaking views. However, what truly set this establishment apart was the outstanding service provided by the staff. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism and a divine smell. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Whether it was the attentive front desk team, the friendly concierge, the efficient housekeeping staff or the waiters, everyone was dedicated to making our stay truly memorable. Overall, I cannot recommend the Sofitel Obelisk enough. It is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who truly go above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. That was our second visit and it's was great. Location is perfect, food and drink are fine. We recommend ordering the lounge service. The pool is amazing and with salt water. Right near the hotel there is a Wafi mall with expensive products.

We had a 45-day stay in one of the serviced apartments after moving to Dubai. The staff was superb throughout our stay: housekeeping, doormen, reception, security, the ladies at the kids playroom, the breakfast team and the staff at the Nine! Warm welcome at breakfast every morning, with the kitchen making special baby food for us every morning. The hotel has very nice facilities. Despite being a further bit from downtown, we really liked the location and it was never more than a 20 minute cab ride into town. Quality of the food (breakfast, coffee, dinner and beverages at the Nine) was great. Were sad to leave! Compliments to the entire team.

You feel welcome from first to last day. Every time you have been out, you get welcomed back from everyone. Mr Bapist Elsayed will be there with coffee and water. When you go for breakfast, you get welcomed like you are a long missed family member. But everyone is kind and helpful. A great hotel, but it's because of the staff. I will get back here again

Warm welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a luxury room with it being our honeymoon. Room was beautifully decorated with roses, cakes and fruits. House keeping were remarkable when I broke a glass water bottle and cut my toe. 4 members of staff came to clean and turn the bathroom around to how it was. Sathish from house keeping was very kind and helpful bringing us water when we requested. Overall a lovely stay

The service is awesome! I had just one left over hot dog from my flight and I asked if there were microwaves in the hotel. A staff member came to my room, took the hot dog, and brought it back to me warmed up. I have NEVER had service like this before. The gentleman that cleans my room is OUTSTANDING, his name was Shohag from housekeeping. Very thorough and went above and beyond to make sure my room was clean and fresh…he even folded my clothes! TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

First time in Dubai and glad that we selected this hotel. The location and staff are wonderful. Everything is so perfect. The hotel has a nearby metro station and also provided limited seats rides to Dubai Mall. However, what made our stayed remarkable and wonderful were that we were well taken care of by the members of the staff from the doorman to the life guard by the pool…. Sofitel you are so blessed with such a great crews … please treat them well. Thanks

To start with the check in experience it was quick and easy... Mr Barakat was amazing.. He is so helpful, friendly and highly professional. Had a great experience at the hotel over all. The room was spacious with a charming view..

Overall the stay was fine. Room was nice and in general the staff were very good. I think there were a couple of issues that I feel the hotel could do better with. Club check in: no notices at the front desk to guide where the « exclusive club check in » is, so was left waiting at the front desk for check in. The Asian restaurant: Wanted to go for a late lunch but when we arrived no one at the welcome desk and no one in sight. British Bar: great food, staff not brilliant. Asked for some info, never got it and outside of happy hour could not get the wine I liked. Then when happy hour arrived, staff did not tell us that the drinks we were having were not included in the happy hour menu. The club lounge: Overall was good service however we were in the lounge when two individuals came in in sports attire and plastic flip flops. They were not challenged. So one evening my husband was wearing leather sandals - was asked to go change. Just double standards which was irritating.

We had three fabulous nights at the Obelisk, Dubai, we chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport. From the moment we arrived until we left the service was exceptional. We were made to feel really special. We upgraded our room to ensure a view, it was like an apartment, very impressive. This upgrade gave us unlimited access to their Club Milliseme, what a service this is - afternoon tea and drinks, evening canapes and cocktails all on the hotel and the staff are wonderful. We certainly saved the best hotel until the last out of our five week trip.

We stayed 5 nights. Excellent hotel. We took the Club package which was well worth the extra. The Club lounge was fantastic breakfast afternoon high tea drinks and supper.. When we first reached the hotel, the guest relation named Alsayed is so polite and soft spoken. He shows us around the hotel and whenever we meet in the hotel, he will always ask us about our well being. The staffs in the hotel are also polite and always smile. The breakfast is very delicious too😃 Overall, we are very comfortable and did not regret choosing this hotel.

Rooms were excellent. Front office was highly courteous. Staff in the restaurant were extremely polite. Need to improve the quality of food. Quality of Indian food can be certainly better.

I recently (November 2023) used the spa at this hotel, having failed to do so on my last visit to Dubai back in April 2022. Wow! What can I say? The hotel is a relatively new addition to the Dubai hotel scene, and it is, in a word, gorgeous! I spent a number of hours and was able to use most of the facilities that were included as part of the entry fee for a day visitor. I was particularly impressed by the team of staff in the spa, particularly Jason, Ricky and Anna, who, between them, were unfailingly friendly, helpful and polite, and made me feel like a really valued and important guest. Well done to all of them - you have a great team there! I usually stay at Conrad Dubai when I am in this part of the world, but Sofitel looks to be a worthy competitor, and I would certainly welcome an opportunity to stay as a hotel guest on a future occasion. Thank you so much for a memorable afternoon!

Spacious rooms, good furniture, astonishing view.. Given the dazzle we see upon check-in, the lobby, the rooms, the technology & the view, I expected the breakfast to be more than just good! My comment is about the food only, the service, staff, & hospitality gestures were all great, I just expected the bakery section products to be much more outstanding given the "French" origin of the hotel chain! The same goes with the "egg" section where dishes (quality/taste) is simply similar to what we prepare at home ;).. Overall, I can say this was among the best hotel stays I ever had in Dubai.. Thank you

Easy to reach. Located right next to Wafi mall, can just walk across from within the hotel. Check-in was fast and got an upgrade too.Room was very spacious with adequate amenities. Beautiful views from the room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff at the breakfast restaurant and check-in, check-out, were polite, friendly and helpful.

A Really great hotel. Beautiful room with Amazing view, swimming pool and SPA astonishing, I felt like a queen! Close to the airport and 10min walking from the metro. There is a mall on one side of the hotel with big Carrefour and the Egyptian area with market. To go to Dubai mall or Emirates mall you need a taxi but still OK and in ca20min you are there. Staff of the hotel is really kind and welcoming

From a welcoming and professional check-in after midnight, to extremely helpful staff, to the most beautiful room - it was great to arrive. And it kept getting even better. I have been to Sofitel the obelisk twice and both experiences have been amazing. The service is really exceptional. For my most recent visit, I have to especially commend the cleaning staff Kushal and Akshay who were so efficient and friendly when cleaning mine and my family's rooms who were all on the same floor. They cleaned the rooms very well for the 10 days we were there, they are such key, valuable people in keeping the hotel functioning. Would definitely visit again.

I had 2 events scheduled and a short stay. One was a luncheon and the other a wedding. The staff were great and the food was spectacular, my compliments to the chef. Our event was handled by Andrada who was great to work with and I can strongly recommend her. Additionally the hotel was lovely and modern with excellent service. I loved how the rooms are modern but cosy and most of the egyptian elements are focused at the reception area. They have a great breakfast and everyone from reception staff to porters and valets drivers were very helpful.

This hotel is a home away from home, every thing is more than perfect, from the friendly and professional employees, to the comfort of the rooms and the variety of foods in the restaurant. This stay was really very special as the staffs at the front desk strived to give me a magnificent 3 bedroom apartment with a direct view to Burj Khalifa where we were able to enjoy the fireworks. Amazing rooms specious and luxurious, the service I don’t know where to start from reservation by Mohammed Sabri or when we checked in and during the stay by Nooraldein also the staff at Nine specially sharlien she is a hardworking lady during my 3 night stay she was there day & night with a smile. Despite the design of the hotel is beautiful and very artistic, it is the service that i would like to highlight. Started from Front Desk Christine who assigned me a room with beautiful view, to the whole team at the Pool Bar, they are the coolest Pool Bar team ever!! Until to the cafe lounge with their amazing croissant and the super kind supervisor Alisa. They really made my stay memorable. I stayed alone to celebrate my birthday (should be Feb 29th), and they did not make me feel alone at all!! Hope the management will look into this and share the feedback to the team member as they are doing a really great job and deserve appreciation.

Loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. We had a room on the 33rd. Floor with a fantastic view. The room was very good equipped and a good size. Breakfast buffet was plenty and very tasty. The pool is a very good size and we had a great time there. We had dinner in the English restaurant which was excellent. At the front desk we were served by Vishal and his team which was a real pleasure. The same goes for the concierge team. Will definitely visit here again when in Dubai

True luxury feel. When you open the drawer for a glass you will be surprised they lie in forms of leather - as in a Bentley... And the rest of the room is like that... Facilities great. Service great. View great. Location great. All in all probably the best deal in Dubai!

Back to Dubai after almost 3 years absence due to Covid, we choose the Sofitel The Obelix for this stay and it was a great experience. Fabulous Hotel and Top Level Service ! All people are very friendly, kind & so helpful. Food is excellent. Rooms are perfect. Top views @360° from the Lounge. Hotel location is perfect, easy connections. Thanks to everyone 😊 I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice but we had an issue with the booking system and the reservation team / manager. Booked a room for 2 adults + 2 kids, we arrive at 3AM. We’re told that the deluxe room booked is for 2 adults and we can have one extra bed (the second kid is supposed to sleep on the floor apparently). Room not ready…Solution- change of room with surcharge (300 euros per night but hej, they offer a rebate). Asked several times why they let 4 people book, we were told we should have booked for 4 adults…..

‏I stayed at the hotel for 3 days, it was a very special stay. The services are great, the staff are professional, and the rooms are very clean & spacious. I have a small note that the corridors are not as nicely scented as in other areas of the hotel. On 27 April 2022, I had very lovely visit in Sofitel Obelisk Dubai. The hotel was really perfect, the room was amazing, the staff are really kind. Big thanks to Satish from Restaurant for Breakfast, You are so amazing. Thank you for helping me in preparing the special gift for my friend who has birthday. I am sure I will be back soon. Unfortunately I only had 1 night here, but the moments was unforgettable.

We have a special relationship with this place. Have stayed here now 3 separate times and the reason is the staff. Special mention to Tolga who is the night manager and always takes great care and is attentive to all our needs. I think it has some of the best views in Dubai from the club on the 51st floor. There are some great restaurants around. Their breakfast is incredible. Needless to say, anytime we are in Dubai for a day or two weeks, we call this place our home.

The hotel is a bit ridged and doesn’t really go out of their way to accommodate guests, which is rather disappointing considering it’s supposedly a 5 Star Hotel. I will mention that some of the staff are absolutely fantastic, Mijanur in room service and Natalia at reception have both tried to be as accommodating as possible but hotel policy is just too strict for them to actually be able to accommodate guests. (This is not what they have said but it’s simply an observation)

Insane Hotel .. the Hotel Rooms are very big and cormftable. The Service and Valet is Amazing and fast , the car come quick at any time of the day and the staff is so Kind. You really feel welcomed here. Muhamed from the reception was very friendly and helpful and i also have to Mention Satihish From the housekeeping Team who did a great Job. Our room was all the time very clean and We really enjoyed our stay in this Hotel . Also the pool is big with a lot of places to lay down and relax. The property has the most caring, friendly, attentive and sincere team in place that you can imagine. They make you feel as if you are the most important person in the hotel. From the arrival, we were greeted by the the Residence Manager, Vishal Ranghar and Night Manager, Mohamed ElHellw . A very speedy and cheerful check in at the Front Desk with Ankur and April, after a long and delayed flight..this is just what you need to start your stay. The Doorman and Bell Team especially Arun who greeted us each time we passed by with a friendly smile through the mask with a little chat, a well wishing of the day makes all the difference each time when you are leaving and returning to the hotel. During our stay we had the opportunity to visit the Club Louge Millesime. We were looked after by the Club Lounge Manager, Rachelle David and her Team: Vishnu, Novi, Hashir, Charm Rakitha, Angelica, All our preferences and dietary requirements were taken care of and all were noted during our stay.. trust me and we have a lot of them. Always a smile and small chat makes you feel like family.. meeting daily the Club Lounge team wants you to never leave and just feels like home. We have travelled to many destinations and this was one of the best experience we have had sofar. Also the Director of Operations, Joe Nassoura welcomed us during our stay at the hotel. We visited daily the Pool and Spa which is led by the Director of Spa Louis Molloy and her Team Shannoz, Ann, Mustafa, who created for us a relaxing atmosphere and we were pampered to perfection Last but not least the fabulous housekeeping team. Led by Director of Housekeeping Katja Melizer and her Team especially to highlight are Theresa, Bir, Bablu & Tejas, who created every day a new surprise for us that makes you smile and feel so special.. The creativity and ideas show their real artists. This fabulous hotel experience is worth every minute and for us a perfect location to stay in Dubai. It is a special place and it is the team that makes the entire stay so wonderful.

Great hotel, and amazing staff, really I enjoyed with my family so much. We stayed for 4 nights after that we extended our stay for 3 nights more. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel facilities are perfect as well (Jim, Spa and the pool). The hotel restaurants were more Than beautiful especially La veranda breakfast was our favourite restaurant. And I want give big thank to Alaa and Ajay for their service. Highly recommended

I was at the hotel with my wife for 3days last week and I must admit I had the best hotel experience of my life. Right from the lady at the front desk (Algerian), to the concierge team, to the housekeeper Blabul, the Spa ladies, the pool attendants etc were all so very friendly, responsive and welcoming. If you desire a queenly or kingly treatment, the Obelisk is the place to go. The hotel is so clean, breakfast was perfect and there are so many things to do there one can never be bored. The aesthetics and professionalism of the staff cannot go unmentioned. Kudos team Obelisk, you deserve a 6star if possible.

I stayed there for four nights. Absolutely loved the whole experience. Mr. Rehan at the front desk and Mr Arun were extremely nice and helpful. They are very warm towards people and it’s always pleasant to come across such people. The staff in general were very helpful. The only suggestion if I had to make any would be to change their breakfast buffet items every now and then. The hotel overall is definitely a place to stay if you are in Dubai.

Came for a staycation with my children and had a fantastic time. The hotel itself is beautifuly decorated, everything is new and spotless. The rooms are big and clean, they have control panel for curtains and lighting by the bedside which is a nice touch. Bathrooms are massive and have both a shower and large bathtub. The dinner at french restaurant was delicious, and they accommodated all my requests, service was on point. Breakfast had a huge, tasty selection, they took orders of eggs at the table which is nice because usually in other hotels you need to go and order it at the egg station. Kids club was complimentary and no time limit imposed. The service is every way was just flawless. I will definitely stay again.

For the price, the services they offer are excellent. Extremely polite staff right from the reception desk to the housekeeping staff. Great breakfast layout, gorgeous and spacious rooms. The concierge was very helpful in helping us plan our day. Overall had an excellent stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This is probably one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Amazing modern facilities + love the Egyptian theme + service was great, check in staff was really welcoming + lovely view around Dubai (got a room which faced downtown with the Burj) + all requests was delivered promptly and quick The hotel breakfast was amazing too. Food delicious with Excellent service - Sabina who hosted us was really attentive and so nice. Everything was top notch & deserve 5 stars all around.

We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t fault any area. The rooms were spacious and always kept really clean, the staff were amazing. Thanks for Mohamed Ramadan Always happy and always wanting to help in anyway. We had a problem with one of our flights desk did everything he could to help. The food was amazing. We also ordered room service which I have to say was the best room service I’ve had. We had access to the club on level 51. Really worth paying the extra for this

I love this hotel the most. It's near the airport and attached to the famous Wafi Mall. It's a new 5-star luxury property. The staff is very efficient, well trained and supportive. They provide extra care to their guests. The ambience is beautiful and the food is delicious. I especially like the restaurant Bijou situated near the main lobby, you can enjoy coffee there with your friends or colleagues. It's an ideal place to stay with friends and family.

An absolutely fabulous hotel with fantastic service and very good value for money. Reception was extremely friendly. We got there very early and were allowed to check in just after 11 a.m. because the room was free. The room is fantastic: very large comfortable bed, beautiful modern bathroom, two sinks, great TV, even a sound box. Room service was fabulous, very accommodating. Overall, there is an extremely good service culture in the hotel. Employees are very attentive and always concerned about your well-being. Breakfast was also very good - lots of fruit, vegetables, sweet pastries, fresh bread and warm dishes. Pool also very nice and clean. Very tasty cocktails, drinks and food. Everything is a bit pricey, but that's ok. We took a taxi into town or to the beach every night. Fred from guest services was always in a good mood and was very friendly in helping us. Great guy! We will definitely come again.
