Hey all! I came across Georges Union Subs while on my way home today, just happened to drive past it and stopped. And man, am I glad I did. This was a great experience, I met the owner, George and his employee (whose name I didn't catch) were super kind from the moment I walked in. George asked my name right away and I really feel like we wanted to get to know me as a client. Asked George for his recommendation, I ended up going with something different due to cravings, but let me tell you, just the way he speaks about the sandwichs is different, he REALLY TRULY loves sandwiches and making customers happy. I have bad anxiety and sometimes talk too much and I apologized to George and he was so kind about it saying it wasn't an issue and that I was all good. 11/10 recommend, and hey George if you're reading this, I really will be back weekly! Thanks again for everything.

If you are celebrating a birthday, having it catered by George's Union Sub's is the way to go. The packaging and prep are perfect for parties. It's very thoughtful to have the mayo, oil, and vinegar dispensers included. The sandwiches are made with the quality and quantity of Boar's head slices. You have to realize that teenagers can eat a lot. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch because it was close by, and we were not disappointed. One of the best sandwiches I've had in the area- great deli meat and a very flavorful sub altogether. Sandwiches are big for the price too. Everyone at the counter was really friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

Loved my experience at George’s. George is very friendly and you can tell he takes pride in the business. Everyone was greeted with a hello and he made sure to introduce himself to everyone. The sandwich was also delicious. I got a #28 with turkey added and the works! Very fresh, I’ll be back when I’m craving a sub!

Hands down best subs!! No contest. As a family we got the #2, 3, 12 and 17 and there wasn't a scrap left. Entire family loved it...not too mention the cookies..wow! Beautiful shop, friendly and great service...safe to say we will be making George's union subs our go to sub shop. George is a culinary genius. Thanks George!!!!

My first experience there. Got to meet the owner George. He was pretty cool. He recommended the turkey sandwich which I tried. It was excellent. Very favorable fresh bread, plenty of meat boar's Head of course. George put a lot of care in making my as well! There is no way I'm going anywhere else to from now on this is the best place in New Jersey y'all better check it out. I'll be telling all my friends about this place.

First time I tried, always drove past it and finally decided why not give it a try. When I first walked was greeted kindly and got to meet the owner George. He was very friendly, attentive and helpful, he recommended his in house pickled jalapeños. Gave me a sample and it’s out of this world the flavor was sweet in the beginning and then had that little zing you need to complete your sandwich. I will definitely be returning for a whole sub next time and recommending to others. The sandwich is fresh, the bread soft, and did I mention pocket friendly. Kudos to you my friend 👍🏽

George and his staff are super friendly! Positive attitude and enjoy what they do. The muffuletta sandwich was so good and the portion was huge. Definitely will come back and try out some of their other sandwiches. Wishing them all the best with this new venture!
