I cannot begin to express how many things were wrong about my stay at La Quinta last Friday. From our room not having a phone that works, the floors were dirty, the door didn't lock and the room was very small. Aside from all of that a housekeeper had my airpods in her HOME! On Monday morning I realized that I did not have my airpods and I realized that I must've forgotten them at the hotel. When I called the hotel to speak to the manager I was told that nothing was found there. So I tracked my airpods through the Find My iPhone app and I was given the exact location of my airpods. I told the employee over the phone that it looks like it could be one of the employees at the hotel and she insisted that it couldn't be. So I went to the location, knocked on the door for one of the housekeepers of the hotel to open it and she stated that she found the airpods in the parking lot of the hotel.... If that was the case WHY NOT RETURN THEM TO THE FRONT DESK? I know for a fact that I left the airpods charging in my room because I didn't need to take them with me to a Christmas party that I was attending..... When I called the hotel back to report that their employee had my belongings they told me that there was nothing that they could do.... I asked for the manager to give me a call this morning and NOTHING. Not even an APOLOGY! I feel completely violated and I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

My family and I stayed at this hotel La Quinta Inn from August 17th to 18th the hotel was spotless I would definitely stay there again breakfast was just basic Continental so we went to Chick-fil-A but the hotel and the service there was above average. The hotel was so clean I would definitely say that again, excellent. Whenever there's a function in Long Island or Queens I know where we will be staying.

I would like to file a complaint regarding a recent incident at a hotel. The main issue stems from a miscommunication between the hotel and the booking agent, resulting in the hotel not having my reservation on record. Despite this problem, the hotel staff did not take any responsibility or initiative to address the situation, ultimately causing me to leave and find another hotel after 9 p.m., dragging my luggage around. During the approximately two-hour period of attempting to resolve the matter with the hotel, the attitude of the front desk staff, Taylor, was extremely indifferent, rude, and condescending. Most of the time, Taylor had headphones on and was constantly engrossed in playing with their phone. It felt as if the hotel was thriving in business and had specifically hired this front desk employee to screen and selectively treat guests.

I stayed here for a wedding. Room 427 had broken toilet seat, smelly old carpet and room was cold . Hallways during day noisey and the smell of "Weed/Marijuana " throughout the entire hotel. Annoying" Fire Alarms"!! that went off every night and day for no reason, and police activity walking in & out hotel. Old vanity in bathroom, molds in ceilings in bathroom..Stay away from 1st floor..the most horrible smelliest floor. .

We got a suite to fit 6 people. My lower back was absolutely destroyed by they their cheap thin mattress and my neck was stiff because of the terrible pillows. The bathroom was big and clean so that was great. The staff is super nice.

The front desk girl at my check in was super unfriendly, the room was cover with dust the bathroom had mold on the walls. We asked for 2 blankets and they told me that they could only gave me one because thats the “rule” in a room with 2 beds?!? So I called the front desk they promise to bring an extra blanket but they never did. Horrible I will never spend another dollar at this hotel. And i paid $170! For one night and couldn’t give a blanket? Ridiculous! This place should use the money they take from people to hired a better front desk person and to clean their disgusting dirty rooms!!

Came out to stay for a 2 day stay My wife called to make sure they take cash and was told yes by the front desk agent but once we got to the hotel a very rude front desk male agent told my wife the hotel only takes card and charged my wife $100 more dollars off of our card without saying anything. Very clean room but the door was jammed making it hard to go into the room Came down to check out and found out the $100 wasn’t a hold but a charge that had to be refunded(I Want My Money) As well I have advice New York is a legal marijuana state, don’t harass people of color and create new rules when you have smoke areas around the hotel….that’s tacky Joseph Oliveri(General Manager)

A 3 is just being nice, the hotel gym is awful and useless. The room itself has a jammed door and toilets leak with no handle. Took issue to front desk they seem to not care. Pros is great location, comfy beds, and air-conditioning works well.

La Quinta Garden City kicked my senior dogs 11 and 13 and myself to the curb by this hotel because the hotel tried to charge more than the published pet fee on the la quinta website and even called police.. Amanda and that other lady working on July 16, 2023. Another black guy behind the desk was unhelpful. Instead of giving me the published pet fee from la quinta (which is now the same across all la quintas 25 a night up to two dogs maximum 75 a stay). Amanda called her manager and he was insistant on charging more than the published fee. The police were called and was kicked out by the manager over the phone whose name is Hugo. The police kept on bothering me in the parking lot while was on the phone with my brother and had no place to sleep that night. They also. cancelled a future reservation without my permission.. Let me point out I am a diamond member as well which is the highest tier status with Wyndham. Amanda has no customer service skills and should be fired as well as Hugo. The other lady behind the desk kept on asking questions about my dogs which was never an issue at any La quinta. My parents are elderly and that is why I came for the visit. We've stayed at so many La Quintas without issues.. sometimes the staff would even come out and pet the dogs.. UPDATE. Tried contacting Joe O. He did not return my call.

It was such a pathetic hotel. The prices are ridiculous and what you get for the price is not worth anything. We paid $373 CAD for Friday night, $400 CAD for Saturday, $300 CAD for Sunday night. The breakfast was subpar coffee, waffles, bagels, muffins. And the rooms didn't have any body lotion!

Downstairs rooms were really smelly but they accommodated us upstairs where the rooms were better. Overall decent place to stay for a night or 2 and it has breakfast but really far from new york city so this is not for people who intend to visit Manhattan

I would have give 5 stars if the walls weren't so thin you could hear peoples conversations in the hall like they were in your bathroom. Also was not happy about having literally nothing but begals and toast for breakfast. The waffle maker was the only hot food available if you wanted to wait in line. For the price I paid for 1 night, I could honestly say it was not worth it.

The staff was fantastic and extremely welcoming. Anything we asked or had questions about they were extremely helpful and even suggested local establishments to try out. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Room was large & clean. Nice little closet. Quiet location. Price was higher than other La Quinta's I have stayed at but it's by NYC so I guess that's why.

A nice La Quinta that is starting to show some signs of age. The Fan in the bathroom and AC provided enough white noise to cover most sounds coming from the outside, so I got a restful sleep. The room was comfortable and clean. Just a bit worn. Location was close to the Meadowbrook Parkway and Roosevelt Field mall. Wish I could have gotten the NY Mets broadcast, but the channel was blocked for viewing. Overall, the room worked for my needs.

Hotel is okay 2.5/5 but service was horrible as I was in the lobby I observed them telling a black man ‘if we give you this key, don’t smoke in our rooms’ as he professed that he doesn’t even smoke. Disgusting

Location is amazing!! We were near everything we needed to enjoy ourselves for the weekend. Breakfast needs A LOT of work. It was basically all carbs.

Stayed here after having a late night. The room was much bigger than I expected. It was clean. The bed was comfy and it's located not too far from the mall and 2 major parkways. The price was very reasonable. Will definitely stay there again.

The rooms were very nice and big but the carpet was sticky to the point that we had to wear socks. The bathroom was big, but the toilet and one of the sinks was clogged.

I stay here for work before. Clean , bright, modern. Seems newly updated. Only issue I have is they are always out of bottle water and the hallways should be maintained through out the day for trash and sticky elevator floors.

Rooms are absolutely immaculate! Very impressive! The cleanliness, the smell, the quietness, everything was just across the board fantastic! This place has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time! Also, the breakfast was cooked very well ,fresh and delicious! Especially the coffee! Big thumbs 👍 up! Also the price was extremely cheap and very reasonable.

Booked a couple of rooms and had a block for guests for my sister’s wedding. Everything was comfortable. The front desk staff was very accommodating. After we got back from our event, they let us have use of one of the board rooms and gave us markers so we could just hang out, play games, and enjoy ourselves. They were extremely gracious after one of our guests got sick in the lobby and the elevator 😬 We were mortified, but they didn’t make us feel bad at all, and got someone to clean it up quickly. Cheers to them for showing us some grace. I’d definitely stay again.

I booked this hotel with a block of rooms for my wedding. The check in was easy and fast. The front desk clerk congratulated me upon my return from the venue and even allowed us to utilize one of the meeting rooms on the first floor for us to relax. Despite one of my guests getting sick in the lobby, the staff was courteous and friendly and didn’t shame us for the mess that was made. 😬 I would recommend this hotel and definitely book again.

Unless you’d like to catch a disease 🦠 here, please go elsewhere. The pillows are all stained and yellow with no pillow protectors. There were black crumbs like poppy seeds in the bed. The blankets also stained and unwashed. Never again.

This is a great budget hotel with free parking and attentive management. With our stay we got free breakfast, and we were able to enjoy a quiet night sleep without interruption. The location, essentially located in Nassau county is really good and we enjoyed it better than most of the places we stayed in. Queens because of the additional charges, paying for parking, and generally crowded quarters.

Good staff and nice clean rooms. Everything for a short stay. Near the Garden City hotel at half the price. Near by Giant Roosevelt field mall for great shopping at all the top stores.

Men's bathroom in the lobby never had toilet paper restocked in the 5 days we were here. No more hard boiled eggs available for 3 days. Otherwise pretty comfortable room . Trash can in the fitness center was not emptied in days.

If I could give zero stars I would. This was the single worst hotel experience I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. The beds are horribly uncomfortable, there was no Wifi working and the service was well intentioned but not great. Your choice in the rooms between frigid and sauna. So if you appreciate sleep you're in the wrong place. 0/10 would not recommend go elsewhere.
