We had the bottomless brunch and the food was incredible! Nachos to share then 2 mains off either the brunch or main menu and bottomless drinks for 2hours! Hats off to the chef, who we personally thanked on the day! Great value for money and service was very friendly and relaxed.

What a fantastic place , great friendly staff . Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, cocktails very nice too. We had a wobbly table but move to another without any fuss, I highly recommend this place . Reasonably priced too

Food was nice - the Mac and cheese fries were amazing! Bar has a nice chilled vibe, the neons are cool and the building is lovely. The staff are friendly and attentive, knocked of a star as not very child friendly and the toilets had a weird smell.

Absolutely amazing food. Visited here the other week. Guys who served us, think they were the owners, were so friendly and helpful. Can not stress how good the food amd service is here. The tacos were AMAZING!!

I like a good cocktail and this place does them nice and cheap.... 2 for £13.00... I've had a few and now I'm tipsy :) .... I rate this old bank. Bring the family The food looks good and I can see young kids eating it. Which is always a bonus.... sorry for tipsy review.. only negative point is that they could do with a bigger glitter ball ha.

Grand spot for breakfast. Spacious with high ceilings Strong colours in the decor and the crockery. And the food, at least the smashed avocado, is just as colourful and mouthwateringly fresh. Friendly staff. A laidback venue for brunch.

This place gets better every single time I go. Our last visit was for our wedding anniversary and everything from the food, to the music and cocktails was on point with the best thing being the wonderful staff who made the whole evening feel relaxed and unpretentious. This time our visit was a family affair and the first time the kids have been and they were just as impressed as we were. The food is just gorgeous. The chicken tacos are so delicious, a perfect mix of succulent well seasoned chicken, spice, sweet and crunch all held together with just the right amount of cheese to add a depth of flavour but not overwhelm the balance. The mac and cheese we all agreed was the best we had tried it's so rich and indulgent and my sons grilled cheese was crisp, buttery and flavourful on the outside and oozing and delicious inside. I am so glad to have a gem like this on our doorstep and can't wait for my next visit.

First time here and we were really impressed. Simple menu but great food cooked really well. Good selection of drinks and good value. Would definitely recommend, fried chicken was fantastic. Atmosphere and staff were both welcoming. Burgers were amazing too but there was definitely some food envy! We really enjoyed it and server was very patient as we changed our minds a lot!!

Great place, staff are really friendly and the food is fantastic. On a Thursday the food is half price making it affordable in these uncertain times. The fried chicken is amazing, easily some of the best I've ever had. I'm also a huge fan of the Poretti beer, and they do it in a carafe, which is simply amazing!

We visited today and I would give 3.5 stars as the staff were SO nice. Really lovely. The surroundings are good, but for a place around 1/2 full, it was 100% loud. Not sure anything could be done to temper that but it was a bit loud. He had the Brisket Burger and I ordered the chicken, bacon grilled cheese. I'm afraid I couldn't bite through the bacon and had to set it aside and I couldn't find the chicken in my sandwich. It was nice sourdough bread, however a bit soggy from the slaw that was in the same basket & on the same paper. So the last half of my sandwich was a bit of a scarlet soggy mess. The same happened to his burger. I'm not sure how we did this, but when we ordered it was a bit confused & we ended up not ordering fries or sides? Might have been my fault, the menu is a bit different. I don't want to be negative at all because we would go back knowing what we know now. We'd ask for no slaw and remember the sides. It's the first time we've eaten in a Stockport restaurant where we had to find dinner 3 hours later, we were really not full without sides lol. Oh, and £9 for a Long Island ice tea seemed steep? But it was darn good!!!

Food is actually perfect tbh, would recommend 100%. All of us enjoyed our meals immensely. My only slight issue is that it's not particularly autism-friendly. Music is often too loud to talk to the staff :(

This Godless Place Bar & Canteen won us over with its fantastic food and exceptional service. The chicken & slaw was a standout, while the kids devoured the best grilled cheese we've ever had. My wife raved about her tacos, each bite packed with vibrant flavor. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our dining experience in every way. Coupled with the cool, family-friendly atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. Our unplanned trip here has turned into a cherished memory, and we can't wait for the next visit!

We booked The Godless Place for a meal and drinks for our works Christmas party for 16 people. Everyone in the group said the food was amazing and the staff were an absolute credit to the place. Big shoutout to Kai, Chole and Matt for being amazing! 100% we will be back.

Nice bar, we came here close to the bar closing so was fairly quiet but that was just what we wanted so we could have a drink or two, chat and then go home. The bar inside is very nice, with plenty of seats. We didn’t have any food but I’m sure we will go back here and sample their food one afternoon. The bar lady was really nice and friendly, will definitely head back in the future!

Great bar. Best grilled cheese I’ve tasted it’s like a Grilled Cheese and garlic bread in one. Lovely staff great cocktails would recommend

We have done several Bottomless Brunch's in Manchester and this by far surpassed that. The service was amazing, the food was great and the drinks selection was varied. It was great value for money and we had a really good fun time. I do come into this bar for general food and drink on a regular basis and it has never let us down.

Bottomless brunch proclaims “any” main from the menu, only to be told you can’t have two of them when it comes to ordering as they aren’t included. Of course I understand profitability but should be more clear with marketing rather than an outright lie. Secondly the food itself was dire. Tasty fries but counted a total of 11 on the plate. This wouldn’t be enough for my 2 year old. The chicken was so over cooked you couldn’t tell where batter ended and chicken began in parts. Cheap ingredients, not so cheap price (if you paid menu price). Cool venue, but leaves a lot to be desired. Was excited to go but wont be returning.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food was good (5 pieces of fried chicken with honey glaze, fries, and home made coleslaw). Overall it was very good.

My wife and I booked for the first time and was delighted by the venue. Great atmosphere and music. The waitress was very pleasant and was able to recommend some of the favourites. I had the burger 🍔 with loaded fries and my wife had the fried chicken 🐔...the food was fantastic and was washed down with a couple of large glasses of gorgeous red wine. Overall our experience was amazing and definitely will be back
