First visit back since the change of management - absolutely blown away. We used to go there under its previous ownership and it’s where my kids all got to experience Indian cuisine for the first time, and they were a little nervous at trying the new menu / chef. They need not have worried - everyone was impressed at how much better it tasted and they all said it was a vast improvement on what was there before. Perhaps the biggest indicator was how much less oil and grease there was. Thoroughly impressed and will be returning regularly. So good to have a decent Indian back in Great Baddow again.

A pleasant surprise! All of the Indian restaurants in this area are pretty bad, so it was a really nice surprise to find that this place is much better. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. The lamb I got was tender, well cooked and I’m excited to try more of the menu. Keep up the good work!

The food and service here are fantastic. Everything we ordered was perfect. The best keema nan I've ever had too, we'll definitely be returning.

Excellent meal, I particularly like hot spicy food and they certainly do this! My wife prefers milder flavour which is also available and excellent

WOW! Working away and just had a takeaway from here. If I could give them 6 stars I would! Phoned the order through and when I arrived I was greeted at the door with a handshake and served with a smile. The food was definitely some of the best Indian I've had and very good value, the lamb melted in the mouth 😋 if I was local it use it every week. Thank you Spice Lounge 👍

Best Indian I've had ... beautiful flavours, best quality chicken and prawns. Fab presentation and lovely service.... everything and everyone made our night so enjoyable.... please visit this lovely restaurant before the word gets around and you can't book!! Just a had a lovely meal there from the Sunday lunch menu. The food was amazing and great value, would definitely recommend, the chicken chat was amazing.

This place is really very good for your honest Indian takeaway. Excellent flavour, good quality meat, very reasonably priced. We’ve done the rounds in the area and have settled on this new opening as a firm favourite
