Beautiful restaurant but it all falls down after that. Poor service average food which shows little value for money. Upon entering, No one took our coats, bags, or jackets. Toilets are clean and pretty nice. We waited 15 minutes for a food menu which was annoying when dining with a client. The wagu scotch egg was amazing, well done chefs, but after that, everything else was mediocre. The white chocolate parfait was frozen solid which is a school boy error. For 4 of us the bill came to £750 inc 2 bottles of wine. If you want fine dining it's not here, but for a casual lunch, you'll be pleased.

Courtesy of a lunch hosted by a few financial services providers, I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at M Threadneedle Street. The lunchtime set menu provides good value for money at this upmarket establishment. There's a great wine collection.

We had a set menu and the food was alright, if at times a bit salty and the texture of the dishes was a bit off. The Ibérico Pork was curiously presented, it almost looked as if somebody had tripped and fell with it on their way to the table. Our waiter was lovely, it was just unfortunate that none of our booking instructions had been passed on to him which caused a lot of confusion and could have led to us being overcharged as well.

Absolutely exquisite! Booked for our three year anniversary dinner venue and had the most wonderful time dining, drinking and playing pool in the members area. If you want to book this experience I recommend using Truly Experiences as they cater for all of your requirements once you arrive at M Threadneedle. Make sure to book ahead, whatever the occasion at this lush and beautiful venue! 💯🍽🥂🍾🎱

Family birthday August 2020. Restaurant was very nice. The family had a lot of stomach upsets and diarrhoea. All the food was smoked and meat was bloody which was appalling. Even the desserts were smoked. The cocktails were ok. The staff who brought the food to our table were not wearing gloves and very unfriendly. When complained to the manager we were told other customers were not sick. We will not go to this restaurant again because of the Bad Taste left in our mouths.

Dined here with a close friend of mine and everything starting from the food, service, venue, and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. We had 2 rib eye steaks which were cooked with perfection to our preference. The other recommended side dishes were delicious! The sommelier was extremely helpful with the selection of wine as well. We were suggested some desserts but were too full to have any. Lastly, I would like to give special thanks to the Manager, Florian for making this experience flawless. We will be returning with friends and try out the desserts too!

Enjoyed a farewell dinner with a close friend of mine. We were paid attention to and treated well from the beginning to the end, from choices of drinks, to the recommendation of quality aged Rib-eye steaks and their unique complementary sides. Florian has mastered the idea of what a customer looks for in a fine dining restaurant and despite our young age, provided us with the respect and hospitality we sought. Great food, service and atmosphere. 100% recommend the restaurant and hope you are lucky enough to have Florian take care of you as well.

Great setting. All seating was comfortable. Very fancy Japanese style toilets. Our server was lovely and friendly. We went there for a bottomless brunch. Food was delicious, a bit pricey for what we had, and the cocktails were good. What let it down was the bottomless as the service was really slow. We ordered as we were finishing our drinks and had to wait a good 15-20 min before we got another drink.

Have eaten at M restaurant in Victoria before; this was my first time visiting the Threadneedle Street location. Beautiful decor, spacious, lots of seating across the two floors and they have some private dining rooms/lounges. They have a pool table and table football. Great atmosphere with old-school r&b & hip-hop music. I went for the bottomless brunch and really enjoyed it. Food was delicious and I loved that it included a variety of cocktails rather than just prosecco. The service was a bit slow and there were periods where we did not have a drink for 15-20 minutes, because it took them some time to make each cocktail individually. I think they should really take drinks orders as soon as they bring out each round, rather than waiting for people to finish their drink, because then people are left waiting without a drink. We did complain about this to the staff and they gave us a bottle of Prosecco whilst we waited for our cocktails to be made, as well as additional time of bottomless cocktails. Also, I wish they had sides to order as part of the brunch. There is steak & eggs on the brunch menu, and we wanted to order some fries to have with that - we were happy to pay extra but they said they don’t offer any sides and the brunch items is all they make during that time. Not having the option of any sides is why I have knocked off 1 star from my review. Overall, really enjoyed the bottomless brunch and would definitely recommend it.

I came here for my anniversary, the service was incredible and this was certainly fine dining. The atmosphere was nice, for a work event or special occasion, but maybe the music was loud and a bit too upbeat for me and my husband. The food was great. We did the steak roulette and were happy with what we received, although I think my steak was a little too charred on the outside. For our anniversary they gave us a little surprise of non alcoholic bubbles (as we weren't drinking) and a chocolate/nutty treat. I would come here again, but please be aware that this is fine dining, therefore quite pricey and justified!

Any amazing restaurant in the heart of the city. Professional courteous staff who will ensure your experience is nothing but perfect. Food is fresh and prepared with care cooked to perfection. We hired a private room but you can also sit in the main area. Not far from Bank station.

Good place for meat lovers. The steaks and beef Wellington were great and cooked to perfection. I also really enjoyed the starter of wild boar tortellini. The service was a bit slow but to be fair the restaurant was quite packed.

Amazing atmosphere with a central location but the food didn't match the expected standard. The starter which was a salad tasted bland. The steak was well prepared and best part of the dinner. The cheesecake was subpar. The drinks are very expensive.

Amazing dog-friendly restaurant! Me and my partner were celebrating our anniversary and we decided to bring our dog too, who had a great time as well (see the picture of the steak :-)). Highly recommend it to everyone!

Amazing service, food was great. The music was a bit too loud for my personal preference but otherwise the atmosphere was very nice. I ordered the shio koji-marinated chicken, Hispi cabbage and the miso mushrooms and they were all delicious.

We had a perfect evening there. They're dog friendly, which was perfect for us as we brought our dog on vacation with us. They all treated the three of us (yes, dog included) so well. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the music was great and the service was incredible. It was really fun seeing all the special things people got with their food, like the steak roulette. They really want everyone to have a wonderful time there. The food itself was amazing. The meat was beyond perfect, but what really blew me away was the hispi cabbage, definitely recommend that! We'll go back there when we visit London again ❤️

This review is purely directed at Elena who was on hand for my friend’s birthday dinner yesterday. Her customer service Was impeccable, she did not hesitate to help in any way that she could. She was thorough, kind and very patient with us considering it was a big group. I believe she’s an asset to the M ThreadNeedle Street branch and she deserves all her flowers. On another note, the food was okay, I believe the restaurant is best suited for the ambience and drinks which were both lovely.

Attractive decor and good ambiance. I could see myself returning for the vibe over drinks. The staff are very knowledgeable about their meats and the menu as a whole. (Big up to man like Claudio). Appreciate the birthday dessert gesture which was actually a dark chocolate brownie. Tasted good as well For starter, we went for the duck leg which for my afro Caribbean folks was a bit bland but the Hoisin sauce and breaded skin was amazing. For main, the chicken again required some sort of sauce to be fully appreciated. (Black Aioli, Firecracker, Maytag Blue cheese) The sauces here are a must. They elevate your meal for sure , that and some black pepper too lol Dessert was probably the best part of the meal, decent passion fruit cheesecake to end the dining experience. Cocktails here were just average but the pineapple sour does start to taste quite good after a few sips. The food is not mind blowing but decent enough to have before going to the theatre. I am quite intrigued to try their steaks having seen the process

Saturday nights are empty for such a big restaurant. Really good service from staff, restaurant is clean and welcoming.. but lacked atmosphere as it was empty. Food looked better than it tasted. Overall would recommend for the experience, but not visiting again anytime soon

I have been here for organised events recently and they have all been a huge success. From arrival and pre dinner drinks, through to the sit down meal and service - all went swimmingly. A 330ml bottle of beer at £7 with 95p service thrown on top for good measure does grate on top of the cost already paid. £5 is far more sensible.

£30 for a three course set menu which was surprisingly good. The pork belly for starter was thinly sliced and had a lovely flavour. The sirloin for main came with mushroom sauce and fries, asked for medium rare and was not disappointed. Had the passion fruit cheese cake for dessert, the mago ice cream that accompanied it went down nicely. A great shout for business lunches.

Wonderful excellent steak to have. Would recommend people to give this a go if you want some lovely meal. Although it’s a bit chilly outside, having a steak with red wine was absolutely amazing! Definitely would come here again in future when you can dine in the restaurant.

My evening at M was absolutely amazing, the food was exquisite, the staff were very friendly and made my evening that much special. I had the ribeye which was cooked to perfection. Presentation was amazing. I’d had never seen anything like it. As previously mentioned the staff were lovely, well mannered and extremely kind. One of the receptionist truly stood out to me. Her name was Pauline, she was well spoken yet very welcoming and friendly, her presence was truly warming. She even made me laugh a couple times which is something receptionists never do. I’ve actually been here a few times and no one’s ever made me feel as welcome as her ! Thank you Pauline !

Good steak options, limited (but good quality) fish choices. Sides were a bit meh. Patrons were very city as you'd expect given the location, but atmosphere was lively as I'm sure it was mainly company credit cards paying the bills. Overall decent food, decent service.

Reasonably priced set lunch menu (2 course for £25 or 3 for £30). The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and service was attentive. Nice intimate decor inside. Bonus: There's heated seats in the Japanese style toilets if you fancy a tinkle haha

We came here as part of the London Restaurant Festival this month and had a great time! They had a good menu and wine selection. Food was a hit and miss - the starters were delicious (we all tried different ones and they were all lovely). The Argentinian steak was not great and although I ordered medium-rare it arrived overcooked, quite dry and well-done. Should have ordered a fish instead as they looked amazing on someone else's plate. Service was good as our waiter was friendly! That said we did have to top up our own wine a lot and there was a real shortage of water across the table. Draught aside, they were very nice and accommodating.

A touch pricey but you get what you pay for. Top quality steak cooked perfectly. The wine list is fitting of a top quality restaurant. Service was friendly and professional. You got that rare combination of attentiveness along with being almost invisible. The experience is enhanced by virtue of a lovely sitting area to enjoy an after meal drink.

An actual 'works do.' How retro! It was a private party so straight up the stairs to a dance floor area and bar. From what i could see it was stylish and contemporary decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. It will be great to return for a meal as the menu looked interesting.

Had a really really good time here! Enjoyed it so much. Make sure you get that wine I had, check photos. It's an American one, about £60, worth every penny. The fried chicken starters was my highlight.

Booked through Truly and had a wonderful time, was for a friend’s birthday so we have limitless Prosecco for the 90 minutes and fantastic food. The staff were amazing, particularly Oxana who treated us brilliantly through the evening. Cocktails were lovely and we were made to feel really special.

My expectation from this restaurant was not fulfilled at all! Poor service from our waiter for the night, lacks kindness, no customer service at all, did not once ask if we were okay. The meals came at least 45 minutes apart and when arrived it was cold steak and burnt chips. The sauces given were not enough to share for 7 people and for extra you’re charged £3 for the smallest amount to which they did not state. Cocktails basic nothing fancy, i make better ones at home. Overall terrible experience the M restaurant does not live up to the hype, to be getting charged an excessive amount for “service charge” I expected more, would not recommend.

Members bar but despite the fact we weren't, they treated us as if we were. French barman really friendly and just made you feel very welcome. Great service, lovely bar, not too crowded because of all the different spaces. Definitely trying the food here next time...

We visited this place for my birthday few days ago and had some terrible experience. Although food was really nice and enjoyed loads of cocktails, our waitress seemed very anxious especially when her manager was checking over her and behaved very rudely towards her and other staff. The whole experience made us feel so uncomfortable and would definitely never visit or suggest a place where staff are being so disrespected from their managers or supervisors ( or whatever an mid-aged male with glasses was at this case) felt sorry for leaving a penny for this disgusting place

We enjoyed a really satisfying main meal with gnocchi and wagyu steak cooked very well. The addition of pears to the gnocchi was fantastic and the cocktail was very well done. Our starter unfortunately was too small and over priced (two pieces don't make up a skewer!). Overall ambiance and service was good. The drinks as expected were a bit too pricey.

Me and my partner decided to try M during the xmas break. We were very pleased with such a lovely, friendly but professional service from Daniel and Freya. They suggested playing roulette which was a good entertainment and also we were lucky with our spin. We were celebrating our anniversary and we were given extra brownie which was so adorable from staff. Daniel also showed us around restaurant and event rooms. We may consider hiring a room for our company events too. In conclusion we had very pleasant experience and definitely will be back
