I
recently
celebrated
a
birthday
brunch
at
Christopher's
in
Covent
Garden,
and
it
was
a
pleasant
mid-week
experience.
The
restaurant
wasn't
very
busy,
which
gave
us
a
more
personal
touch
but
did
make
the
service
a
tad
slow,
probably
because
they
were
setting
up
for
the
day.
Nevertheless,
the
overall
experience
was
quite
delightful.
For
our
meal,
we
ordered
the
avocado
toast,
wagyu
beef
tacos,
and
New
York
cheesecake.
The
standout
of
the
meal
was
undeniably
the
wagyu
beef
tacos,
which
came
with
a
surprising
and
delightful
spicy
twist.
They
were
a
real
treat
for
the
taste
buds,
and
I
would
recommend
them
to
anyone
dining
here.
The
rest
of
the
dishes,
the
avocado
toast
and
the
New
York
cheesecake,
were
good
but
fairly
average,
nothing
particularly
exceptional.
The
restaurant's
decor
is
classy,
though
not
mind-blowing,
but
the
bonus
is
a
nice
view
of
the
theater
and
a
glimpse
of
the
Thames
if
you're
lucky
enough
to
snag
a
window
seat.
I
would
rate
Christopher's
a
solid
4
out
of
5.
It's
a
nice
place
to
go,
especially
if
you're
in
the
mood
for
a
leisurely
mid-week
meal.
They
have
a
signature
French
toast
on
the
menu,
which
seems
to
be
the
hype—I
didn't
try
it
this
time,
but
maybe
that's
the
reason
to
come
back
for
a
future
visit.
