Airy restaurant above the weekend market with fresh seafood. Crubeens are excellent. The pig trots are tender and delightfully savory, wrapped in crispy shell. No need for the sauce :> Prawn & Brown Crab Orzo tastes great. Bouncy shrimps and pasta, crunchy breadcrumbs and veggie. The crab is invisible though. Market fish is Dover sole today. Tender and fresh. Love the grilled lemon. Casserole comes with tender hake/cod and meaty monk fish, delicate mussels, and plump langoustines. Crab claws are missing again. Maybe the restaurant has run out of crabs today… (though we saw crabs for sale downstairs at the market earlier in the morning). The mayo is quite heavy for the sourdough. Perhaps it’s better to have it on the side. Service is friendly and food comes fast. Glad that we made it before our Friday ferry. Veal ravioli also sounds appetizing, and no time for desert today. Next time :)

First time I have ever been here, booked it this morning as having seen the menu was impressed. We went into the restaurant to book this evening and the lovely lady that took our booking was most helpful, she even found out what fish was featuring on the menu that night and it was Dover Sole or Turbot for two...sold straight away. The atmosphere, decor, service, and whole experience was superb and our waiter Nick was very entertaining, attentive and knew his job inside out, a true professional. We both ordered the Dover Sole which came with perfect roast veg and chunky chips, the butter sauce complemented the fish perfectly. I had the Pavlova with winter fruits and vanilla cream to follow which was delicious. Have not experienced a perfect evenings dining like this for a very long time and would thoroughly recommend you dine here. We are over from Manchester and I can honestly say they have nothing to match this experience there.

Booked this as had a 1 hour stop as changing train at Belfast to Dublin. Although not on lunch menu till 12:30lm they happily obliged us with 3 starters; teriyaki mackerel, lobster & prawn bisque & a dressed grilled squid & almond plate, washed down with a pint of Guinness. Superb food & superb service. Thank you.

Based in St George's Market. Had a Pumpkin Ravioli starter which was buttery and delicious. My pork main was a very ample portion. My friend thought their duck however to be overdone. Drinks wise, wine is very overpriced as is the menu itself for what I feel is essentially Bistro food plus to stick on the dreaded "discretionary" service charge is always a bit of a cheek. It wasn't awful but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

We came to visit two days ago for lunch and it was very disappointed. Nothing looked fresh and tasted like leftovers. The service was also very unprofessional. The food looks absolutely different with images in Google reviews. Btw the meal costs us £66 ……

I had dinner at this restaurant 2 days in a row, and totally enjoyed both visits. The food was nicely presented and very well cooked. The service was very friendly and attentive. Out of all the dishes that I have tried there I can recommend ordering their market fish that is served whole on the bone. This was probably the only restaurant that cooked and served John Dory and Dover Sole whole on the bone, and they were unbelievably good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time eating here and didn’t disappoint! John Dory for two, cooked whole on the bone. Served with a fish bone sauce, chips and market veg. Absolutely amazing- cooked perfectly and everything tasted beautiful! Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and a real buzz about the place. Quite expensive but not at all pretentious which we loved. Def be back.

Superb food and drinks (had the venison and an ‘oh mummy’ cocktail). Quick and friendly service - the staff are a credit to the restaurant. Bit of a hidden gem in Belfast and will certainly be back.

Are 6 stars possible? Everything and everyone was amazing! The seafood casserole, while it was a bit of work for some of the shellfish, was fantastic. The wife had a roasted lamb rump dinner, and it was arguably better than mine! The lamb was cooked to absolute perfection. We finished off dinner with a chocolate tart and a lemon tart, both were superb and what would our final Irish dinner be without an Irish coffee!? Overall it was a fantastic meal and great way to close out our NI vacation. Kudos to Danny and his staff for such an amazing evening!

I went there around 1 p.m. on a Sunday in July, I was seated on the terrace, an open terrace which gives a panoramic view of the market, the atmosphere was pleasant because it was not too warm. I ordered "Whole Market fish on the bone, Roated fish Bone sauce, Market Vegetables, proper Chips." The vegetables were cooked al dente zucchini, broccoli, peas... The sole was roasted in a pan and lightly buttered, a bowl of fries accompanied the whole. The whole dish was perfectly balanced, there was crunch, tenderness, softness... take the lemon and put a few drops on the fish, you will see this little tangy side will make everything divine. I did not put 5 stars because even if I am very satisfied and I know how to recognize the efforts, it was too expensive I paid 35 pounds for this plate. Reasonably 25 would have been more correct and appropriate.

We enjoyed our lunch starters, pizza and the kids meals. Nice interior, pleasant ambience and service. Good for kids, too. They would go back 👍

How have I failed to get here earlier? The space is lovely. If eating in the winter on the open balcony above the market... bring a pullover. Today we ate inside where it was totally comfortable.. But, the food... the food... the staff. Fantastic. For me starter of crabs claws and langoustines. Main of ham-wrapped pheasant. Both were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked.. umami needs fully satisfied. Brilliant. Thank you Danny M. and all the team. Not cheap, but we did enjoy the delights of the bar, as well as the kitchen! Would I go back?? Would tomorrow be too soon???

Went in for a bite to eat but the menu is very limited. The prices are higher than normal. I had toast and bacon my husband had the market breakfast. We had two tea and it's still a shock for the price. No one asked if we were happy with it so I paid for the service I didn't get. Here's a picture of my bill.

I've been to Stock a number of times and I've loved it every time. Food, cocktails, wine and atmosphere have been amazing and service has been top class. The kitchen has catered to my allergies every time without any issues - allergies are Gluten free and Dairy free. Serving staff are always confident in any changes made to the dish for me. Some of the best food in Belfast.

Just a perfect venue for a sunny Saturday brunch. Requested a balcony table for five with our online booking and were kindly accommodated without any fuss.. Delightful, tasty fresh food, served by friendly, pleasant staff and the buzz of St George's Market in the background, made for a wonderful experience. The whole feel about the place tempted me into a Mimosa before 12! Highly recommended and can't wait to return. Best wishes to all.

Excellent dinner here on a recent weekend in Belfast. The restaurant is perched above the St George Market, and great atmosphere with an open kitchen, Great service from the waiters etc. The seafood soup with crabmeat on toast was amaxing. The chicken supreme with with confit leg with gnocchi ragu was...supreme! Would defintely go again.

Went here for lunch. A bit pricy but the food is really good. We got the Wicklow venison and the roast beef and both are lovely and made just right with lots of flavors. The environment and ambience is classy but bright and relaxing at the same time. Lots of space between seating. Bathroom is nice and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

We were coming for a birthday dinner to this place. All of us were very delighted with all the food and service we have received. All the courses we had for dinner ware just divine as well as the drinks. Very friendly and kind staff. Definitely worthy to visit if you’re ever in Belfast and want to grab a fancy dinner.

We enjoyed every aspect of our visit to the Stock Kitchen. The menu is inspired, the food full of diverse flavours and beautifully fresh. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic and we felt comfortable in the surroundings. We would recommend that all our friends visit Stock when they come to Belfast.

We came to stock for a romantic date night as coronavirus had put our wedding on hold we received a warm and friendly welcome with fantastic customer service. Food and drinks where excellent, My partner is usally fussy when it comes to picking food but she had no issue tonight we had pegion and monk fish for starter followed by venison and pork chop which was then topped off with the dark chocolate tart to complete our night we also tried some of stock's recommended gin and mixer combos which may I say were just as delicious as the food we ate. A Big thank you to Dan and staff who made our would be wedding night perfect.
