As always the food was amazing. So sad our south location has closed, but we make the trip to Kensington to get our fix. Zane was so helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! Highly recommend!

Went here for dinner last night. This used to be flesh and buns - the interior hasn’t changed and is still quite nice. Not sure why flesh n buns had to shut down. It was a cold rainy Friday night so we decided to have a hot bowl of ramen. Bone daddies did not disappoint. We waited about 5 minutes for our table which was fine. They were busy so food took a while but we not dreadfully long. Staff quickly came to take our order as well. I ordered the curry and my friend got the pork pork chilli. Both were excellent but my friend said the pork pork chilli was not spicy enough. My fried chicken in the curry curry was top notch. Would recommend getting a Clarence court egg on top if not included in your ramen dish because those are just wow!

Sadly, the ramen is not very good. The broth was lukewarm and on the bland side. And the noodles were undercooked and are from a package - not house made. The kimchi was super cold so the flavours don’t come through. Note to the owner- go to New York to Momofuku - that is how ramen should taste. And if you can’t go to New York go to any of the better ramen places in/around Soho in London - it will be very obvious that your ramen is grossly subpar.

Excellent food, fun atmosphere. Manager and staff took time to talk to us about a food allergy and made extra effort to make sure our dinner was terrific. Highly recommend the tantanmen (ramen) and the bao (buns). Delicious!

Ramen was much too salty, tasted like it was made of stock cube and some of the chicken was cold, seems like it was heated in a microwave. the noodles were obviously not fresh either. Very disappointing food.

Everything was good — or so I thought, and let me explain it. The dumplings were very fine — thin skin, delicious filling and sauce, properly cooked, if a tad too small. My pork ramen was good, and a generous portion, too. But seems my friend’s tonkatsu curry rice was too strong — the curry too overpowering, an excess of it that tasted bitter and grainy in the mouth. Maybe someone added twice as much curry to the dish. But he only told me this as I set writing this review, for he is that kind of customer that never complains, believing each restaurant to be serving its best. And I am that kind of reviewer who rarely writes immediately after the visit. Even if it was not busy at all, service from the kitchen was really, really slow — thoroughly compensated by the very attentive waitress who kept informing us of the kitchen’s pace, even before we asked. Not sure whether it’s the normal speed, and wouldn’t like to find it out if I had limited time to dine. To be fair with my friend I have to withdraw one star, even after the owner has replied simply with an emoji, relating to the previous five stars rating.

In a word: nom! Tasty starter of the Baos (one Aubergine, one duck) followed by a heartwarming and delicious ramen; I had Yuzu Tonkotsu and my friend had Pork Pork Chilli. Washed down with an ice cold and smooth Asahi Super Creamy Head.

I was served by such a lovely waiter of the name Lorenzo! He was sweet, handled our food with care, and always served with a smile. Will definitely come back again. The experience would have not been the same without him… absolutely exquisite. Thank your Lorenzo.

Always so welcoming and friendly whenever i come. It completes the experience and in an unknown way, this makes the food taste better. Staff know their food very well and it's definitely the best ramen resto for me. Unrivalled!

What used to be my favourite Korean wings in London are now never worth having again. Paid over £8 for three very small over cooked wings with little sauce and next to no meat on the brittle over cooked bones. All made worse by the 12.5% service change being automatically added to your bill. When I paid the waitress she asked if it was all ok and I explained the issue with the wings, she told me that this is a complaint she’s heard many times from other customers, which begs the question as to why action hasn’t been taken to rectify. Sort it out Bone Daddy’s this is well below par.

The food was quite good however we felt the chicken ramen was definitely missing something. The atmosphere was very pleasant however and the service was pretty fast. Several vegetarian options so would highly recommend for vegans and vegetarians. Limited street parking. Not suitable for picky children.

I was so excited to come back after many years having it first time by China Town, it’s still amazing food to have as their trade mark broth takes my breath away, but their yuzu broth I have found bit too salty for my liking not making it easy to enjoy the broth it’s self, but other wise I do recommend coming.

Probably the best ramen I've had in London. Loved the deep and intense flavours. The chicken wings were also banging. Service a bit slow, but it was Monday.

Ordered: 1. Fried chicken 2. Croquettes 3. Yuzu Tonkotsu 4. Lemon Pepper Ramen All the items were very very good. The fried chicken is a must order! Both bowls of ramen were very good, noodle texture is just right and the broth is as rich as one would expect from an authentic ramen place. Our server Irina was very attentive as well. Overall, a 5 star experience for food and service.

I had lunch for one here on a Wednesday, it wasn’t very busy. The service was pleasant and the food arrived quickly. Irina had a friendly personality and would periodically check in on me. I ordered the pork croquette and they were delicious and melted in my mouth. I enjoyed my spicy pork pork chilli ramen, the pepper that was ontop was actually spicy. I would recommend having a bite here if you’re in the mood for something spicy or delicious ramen! Also the bill was about £22, not bad for high street Kensington.

Ordered a mushroom vegan Ramen which came in a big bowl and a side of padrons The Ramen was healthy and satisfying although , a bit lacking in flavour . The chilli sauce, which was on every other table, but not, mine, would’ve definitely made the flavour of the Ramen pop more than it did I did not see the sauce until I had finished the Ramen.

The place feels inviting but doesn't take itself too seriously. The decor is also lovely. The food was terrific as well, and I like that you could top up on the sides. Overall, it was a great dinner date. Make sure to make a reservation!

High quality ramen in London! The chicken and chashu were very tender, and the broth tasted very rich. I also loved the mushroom which was quite sweet. The ramen bowl was surprisingly hot when it was served which could keep the broth in the perfect temperature! Definitely wanna visit again👍🏻

Hidden away in the bustling area of Kensington Minutes from Holland Park you will find the sounds of rock n roll music mixed delicious Ramen dishes! Rock, neon lights, vibrant red hues on the walls, furniture and dishes create the welcoming ambience for your ramen affair. Everything on the menu is easy to understand. The dirty tater tots don’t disappoint and of course, the bone daddies secret sauce blew my mind! The portions wow I don’t know what to say just do you definitely get your moneys worth and for an extra 2.50 you can add any number of additions to your dishes. If you’re in the south Kensington area and fancy treating yourself this is not a spot to miss

Love that they have 3 choices of broths (Pork, Chicken & Vegan) I ordered T22 and loved it!! Korean styled chicken wings are also delicious.

A great place to go if you have a non-meat eater in your group. The portions are generous and you can add more toppings if you really want to load it up. We got the pork pork chilli and the spicy miso, both with added toppings. Then we got the soy salted ice cream for dessert and it was such a perfect ending. Super sweet, but pallete cleansing and with a perfect balance of salt.

service was quick and friendly. I got the tonkotsu for £13, which is a little pricey in my opinion compared to others and I expected a very flavourful pork broth. The ramen was pretty good but the broth was sooooo weak I barely tasted any flavour. For £13 and with the hype around bone daddies, I would have definitely expected better.

Had a great experience thanks to the lovely staff at this branch. Sophie, our server, was great. The supervisor Moosh (sorry if spelling is wrong) is so warm and kind. It’s pretty rare to come across such friendly service in London at the moment (sad but true). Food was delicious; the only thing that could be improved is that the buns were not hot enough when they arrived. But what stands out the most is the very friendly service - thanks to the team for making us feel happy

Good Japanese restaurant. A few things, but very tasty. I was eating ramen soup lamb, and was good. I also take Japanese beer with a colorful bottle! The place was with a good design, full of photos from japan around '80 Rockabilly style! Also service was nice and welcoming. I really recommend 🤗🙏😎

Had a brilliant time with friends & family, staff were brill. They even chased me down the street when I left my phone! Spicy Miso Ramen & Korean Wings are delicious 👌🏻

  • 3/5 Rql 1 year ago on Google
Not worth the money you spend. I ordered "the original" and it comes with 1 extra thin boring slice of pork with basically no flavour, at other ramen places usually you get 2 or 3 proper slices. Maybe they do this so you order the 'extra' topping for 2.5£. So a basic bowl of ramen + the 12.5% they charge will cost you around 16£ and its not that filling or special.

The Kensington location was phenomenal. I had the Tantanmen 2 and it was delicious. The noodles were firm and the broth very hot – for me, the perfect presentation. The staff was incredibly nice, very quick to help, and overall provided a great experience. I will happily return!

This was our first time at Bone Daddies Kensington and it was a really enjoyable experience. It was New Year's Day and we made reservations for a late dinner after a long day of travel. Edgard was very nice and the dishes he suggested were delicious. We were tired and hungry and this dinner was the most comforting and uplifting food we could have asked for. We hope to be back soon!

Came here for our anniversary and the staff were so lovely! I unfortunately didn’t get both girls names, but both looked after us so well! The food was great as always, though this was our first time to the Kensington Branch so it’s great to see the food is consistent through out the chain!
