a little gem amidst a city centre crying out for investment. definitely a place to visit. delicious food. Wonderful service. oh the desserts!!!! Great coffee too.

Excellent food. The food was delicious - you can tell quality ingredients are used. The service was also excellent, which, as I get older, becomes a more important part of the experience. Had a chat to the owner at the end. You can tell his heart and soul are invested in the place - it very much shows in the superb result Our first visit. Definitely won't be our last!

Amazing little find in Stockport. I checked through lots of reviews to find the ultimate "full English" in Stockport. After lots of research and review reading I decided to try Laco. I was not disappointed. It's situated in a quirky, regenerated part of the town centre amongst lots of other independent businesses. The staff are really friendly and service was quick. My breakfast came cooked to perfection. My new favourite breakfast place in Stockport. Definitely worth 5 stars. Update: I had a flat white coffee with my breakfast and it was so good I ended up doing all my jobs and even went in to do my whole garden 😂

Went because of the google reviews and so glad we did. I took my daughter Shannon for a birthday breakfast and we both had a full English breakfast it was the best breakfast I’ve eaten in years and the staff were really friendly and pleasant

Gorgeous cafe. Fits right in with the Underbank development. The coffee is fab and the vegetarian breakfast (smashed avocado with poached eggs and halloumi) was amazing but it's the little touches that nailed it for me: 1. an umbrella stand and a coat stand, ideal when it's a soggy day outside (no dripping all over the cafe) and; 2. a steak knife to cut the sourdough toast. Much underrated. I spotted the cakes as I paid and went back later to sample. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake was incredible. Try the mushrooms on toast. Amazing.

Nice little cafe in an interesting building. Its pretty large inside so there's plenty of seats, coffee is good with a decent selection of pastries, cookies, muffins, child snacks etc. They also serve kids drinks like hot chocolate. Recommended.

Now I will be brutally honest I don’t normally go to cafes, not sure why just not my bag however I have just been to this little DIAMOND of one and wow!!! The coffee was to die for. You could just tell the quality of the beans as as soon as you walk into the cafe the smell of freshly ground coffee hits you. I believe it’s organic beans also. Never tasted coffee like it. I really wanted to drink it all in one but had to resist. Food wise I had the English breakfast. Sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash brown, THE BEST POACHED EGGS THAT I HAVE EVER HAD. Sour dough toast and best butter. I honestly can’t rank this any lower than number 1 breakfast that I have ever had. You could just taste the quality and see the passion that has gone into it. The presentation again was 10/10. Thank you to all the staff who are so so friendly and polite and very clean looking and especially the manager who was just natural and so so polite and took the time out to speak to us. I will definitely be back with my partner. How could I not share this with her? Thank you guys and I look forward to seeing you soon. PS. The music that plays in the background really makes the vibe of the place. You could be anywhere in the world with the quality that you have provided.

I love English breakfast, I've been to Manchester countless times and this was the best breakfast I've eaten. I know some good restaurants in town but if you're nearby, definitely go there

Went for breakfast with my wife and daughter. Good quality ingredients and well presented. Daughter had a milkshake which she loved, not the usual nesquik powder and milk, proper milkshake with ice cream. Staff were lovely as usual. Not the cheapest place but definitely worth the extra.

Super attentive service ( in a very pleasant way, not to the pont when it gets annoying) Food was great, will definitely come back 🥰 I had smashed avocado toast with poached eggs and salmon.

What a lovely little cafe/bistro this is. Staff were very warm and friendly, they paid great deal of attention to make sure everything was right. I looked at the menu and thought it looked expensive for what you got, but when the food came it was well seasoned, hot not tepid like most cafes. The atmosphere in there is so relaxing with the background music playing, I'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

We were staying overnight close by and searched a number of local cafes that served combination breakfast…. Laco came out on top for me - so we had to check it out!! It’s slightly tucked away from the Main Street, but is close enough to the Market. Service was great, attentive and helpful accommodating the kids for a tailored breakfast which was a great support! Food was prompt, brought together and cooked nicely!! Would highly recommend this place and when starting locally, would definitely make a trip to eat here again!! Thanks again! (Music/vibes/ambience) on point too!!

Lovely little place. Brilliant breakfast. Even the full English had delicious sausages and bacon. Lovely staff and they even made the dog feel welcome and looked after. Definitely recommended.

1st time here but not the last. There's a reason why Laco is no.1 on TripAdvisor. Lovely little shop, lovely, welcoming staff. It was quite busy when we arrived but got a table straight away and order was taken within minutes. Food arrived within 5 minutes. Food was fresh and very tasty. We had mushrooms on toast and eggs benedict. Worth every penny.

Honestly so excited to share my experience today, simply just googled for breakfast nearby and found this Little gem, friendly staff and the food is sooo sooo Good, they will definitely be seeing me again.

Staff are so lovely and helpful, and the menu looked delicious. My meal and drink tasted fantastic and was nice and filling. I really appreciate how you can mix, match and swap menu items, not a lot of places do that but it's really thoughtful of Laco to do this! Will definitely come again and try more of the menu, thanks all at Laco! 😊

Stumbled across this little gem whilst waiting for my car to be serviced. Breakfast was delicious, well presented and very filling. The coffee was so good I had to order another cup! Staff were attentive and friendly, good music and a really nice atmosphere. Need to find an excuse to go back and explore the menu!
