This was my first Tim Horton's experience and I can't rave about it enough. It had been hyped up to me by my Canadian acquaintances beforehand, but it lived up to it and more! Firstly, most reviews seem to compare this place to McDonald's for breakfast, and I can see why. It's better than McDonald's in every way. Every breakfast item we had was less greasy and more tasty than it would be at McDonald's. There were incredible options for the vegetarians and vegans among us too. The coffee was better than most coffee shop franchises. Despite all of the above, a meal deal of breakfast, a hash brown, and a coffee (or other hot/cold drink), was just £2.49! You can get a worse cup of coffee alone at Costa for more than that! Ordering is easy as they have the touchscreen system where you wait to collect. The service was quite fast at a fairly busy time. The main seating area is nice and clean, but accessed up a winding staircase. These can be quite treacherous, I saw a young lady trip and spill all of her drink, luckily she was ok. I can't see myself having a Maccie's breakfast again while Tim's is around. My family have suggested we have breakfast here at least once a month from now on!

I've been meaning to try this place for a while and now with the special offer of a breakfast meal ( including veggie options ) at only £2.49 it was hard to resist. Especially as mucky d's have recently put their breakfast prices up ( in Birmingham anyway ) it can get busy during the commute to the office / workplace but just before or after then your in and out in a very short time. They prefer you to use the self checkout machines and sadly it is only payment via contactless, no cash which is a shame. There is an upstairs seating area with about 85 seats but only 1 chair / table downstairs. The rest of downstairs is for people to wait for the takeaways. The service can be pretty quick but at busier times it can be bit slow, but so always check your hot drinks. My white coffee came black! The hash browns are delicious and so much nicer than others I've had. Shame you don't get 2 with your breakfast meal. The cheese toastie is lovely and you can feel your arteries clogging up as you eat but what a way to go! The iced lemonade drink is sharp and helps cut through the cheese. Overall the food is lovely and well worth the £2.49 asking price.

Review by a Canadian: Public service announcement: Canadians don’t eat maple-flavoured popcorn so I don’t know why this is the “taste of Canada.” Weird. And I make my own maple syrup in our backyard. I ordered my “usual” this morning - sausage English muffin breakfast sandwich with a Boston cream donut and regular dark roast coffee. The coffee lived up to expectations- didn’t notice a difference from home. I prefer McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches, so this lived down to my lowish baseline. Hash browns are very different here. Boston cream was dry with too much cream. Seemed like it had been baked a long time ago - not what I would expect in Canada unless it was the end of the day. “Double double” is catchy, but let’s be honest it’s too much! I didn’t even see a “regular” (one cream, one sugar) option here so had to customize it. The restaurant itself was okay. It’s British in that they have done away with cashiers, something that hasn’t happened in Canada to this extent. Nothing to write home about. Overall it’s okay. I certainly don’t care if you eat here. It’s an American-Canadian company owned by Brazilians so I don’t expect any of your hard-won money makes it into the hands of Canadians, eh?

As a Canadian abroad in England, a very interesting experience indeed! I’ll say that the menu seemed more extensive than ours, but was inclusive of a lot of things, like burgers, you wouldn’t normally associate with Tims. Also (and the main reason for the 3 stars) the price point is very high for donuts and coffee; the quality seemed higher actually, at least for the baked goods, but to charge £3+ for a donut is absurd. Finally, I got a dark roast but was maxed out on the self serve machine to adding 3 “single” creams; it ended up tasting a lot lighter and less creamy than my normal Tims would have, probably due to less milk fat content. All in all, nice to have a taste of home abroad, but they’re missing the mark - probably works for the U.K. market though.

This was our first time in Tim Hortons and was a 50/50 impression. The chicken burger was mainly batter with hardly any chicken and thrown together with half the container of mayo, most of the burger left. The beef burger is definitely the better prepared and tastier of the two. The fries were okay could have done with being cooked for longer. The sprinkle doughnut was lovely. The restaurant itself has “84”seats upstairs in a comfy, nicely decorated areas. However, they need to get the staff to empty the bins as the were overflowing onto the floor! Downstairs has a few seats and a load of auto tills

I tried this outlet along New Street. Well located, on two floors with great views of the busy street. Wide selection of doughnuts, breakfasts, snacks, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. There are several automated machines to order, and this definitely cut the waiting time. They have the usual coffees. But what caught my eye is the single origin code eg Guatemala coffee. Will definitely try that the next time!

A lovely breakfast. Best cheese toastie, super cheesy! The loudness of the music is so uncomfortable so much that you cannot hear the order numbers being screamed out loud over waiting people in the queue. Nice music but volume is extremely inappropriate for a breakfast time.

Love Tim Hortons, must try their Canada’s favourite , recommend French Vanilla Latte ! Love the Donuts as well ! Upstairs seating available , and very bright and cozy feel . However there are some loitering teenagers who gathered to vape . Not sure they are patrons , but is a bit unsightly .

Been craving this coffee for a long time, the French Vanilla latte is the best coffee I've ever had! Wish Tim Hortons was available in London so I didn't have to go all the way to Birmingham to enjoy it but I would do it again! The food is also all Halal which is also an added benefit as it's quite nice for a quick snack!

Finally tried this fast food restaurant, the food is served quick after you placed order. The quality of the meat is good, the sour apple cooler is nice. Hope they can open more shop in the national wide.

Rather disappointing experience, we got a selection of 6 donuts and all but one were stale and dry. Staff seemed more interested in having small talk with one another rather than providing decent customer service. Upstairs seating area was messy, tables hadn’t been cleared (even though it wasn’t busy). Will not be returning to this establishment, the one in Milton Keynes is much better.

Me and my friends call this our go to spot as we love coming here to revise with a lovely beverage. It is a wonderful place as it is nice a clean and all the employees are cheerful. I would highly recommend coming here to Tim Hortons New street.

I have spilled my drink going up the spiral stairs and I immediately notified the staff and wanted to clean up and insisted that I should pay for a new drink. They were really friendly about it and immediately cleaned it up and offered me a new drink for free even though it was my mistake. Love coming back here. The atmosphere upstairs is really nice too. Thank you to the people have helped me!

A nice place for burgers and doughnuts. The female staff was not the most friendly member but the food was great.

First time in Tim Hortons. Quality of food I found really good. I had the full breakfast bap and it was great. Filled me up and everything was fresh and freshly prepared. Grandson had a cheese and ham sandwich which he enjoyed. The little has browns that came with both were crispy and delicious. Price point was brilliant, under £8 for both including drinks.. We both had a doughnut at £3.75 each. But they were huge with lots of topping and a large cream filling. Well worth the price. Well recommend it

I recently visited Tim Hortons and while the service was okay, I have to say that the quality of the donuts I received was disappointing. Every time I've visited this location, the donuts seem to be dry and solid. Additionally, the French vanilla coffee didn't quite meet my expectations. While Tim Hortons isn't my personal favourite, I can see why it has a loyal following for its other offerings. If you're a fan of their other menu items, it may be worth giving this location a try.

I found their cold beverage good, but in terms of hot drinks, I tried caramel macchiato; it was light with no taste of caramel due to excessive foam. Also i ordered a doughnut, which was ok, but I found it expensive well; my opinion it may be different to others. Thank you and Overall experience in Tim Hortons was good.

Amazing fresh doughnuts and hot drink you could die for! My personal favourite being the maple syrup with custard doughnut and the red velvet hot drink is just ♡. Customer service can be improved, all the workers are Asian, being Asian myself it's great to see familiar faces but it would be nice to see a little more diversity. Also some of the male workers there are not very good engaging with customers. Other than that, lovely place to catch up on some much needed reading with a hot drink.

Located in the centre of Birmingham the downstairs are has order kiosks which I ordered from. Service wait was fine and the pancakes I had were VERY nice. Fresh, light, fluffy and hot. Really yummy. Will visit again. Recommended.

Not bad at all. This was my first vist. I'm very impressed. The burger was decent, had a brioche bab. The lattice fries were different approach and I enjoyed them. Reasonable prices too compared to Five Guys. Although you know why Five Guys can charge so much. So Tim Hortons is in the same category as McDonald's and Burger King. I tell you what it actually blew both of these out the water. I will definitely be returning. This is now my favourite burger joint. Not only that it also as very impressive donuts that are on par with Krispy Kreme. The best of worlds all under one roof. I love this place. Can't wait to return. I need to try the shakes next time.

First timer had a bagel egg and bacon breakfast with hash brown and a hot chocolate with caramel. Bagel was nice and toasted lovely crunch when you bit into it. Hot chocolate was amazing.
