Delicious food. Very surprised by the bold flavors. The Crunchy Spinach was divine, well balanced. The Veg Chili Chicken was absolutely amazing - made me sweat in spice level! But it was so amazing! Finger licking good. Highly recommend their food. They would’ve easily gotten 5 stars for the food. 4 stars due to seating/ambiance/service. Made a reservation through Open Table for a seated meal. Unfortunately, only given CounterTop as an option when I arrived. It was not a relaxing meal, like I was hoping for, based on my seating. The bartender was literally chipping ice and cleaning dishes in front of me. Service can definitely be improved.

Really delicious food at Fatt Pundit. My absolute favourite was the Sticky Sesame Vegetables - one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. I would return for this dish alone. The Bombay chilli prawns were nice, and the lamb chops, although very tender and well cooked, could have had a little more flavour. Overall it’s worth the visit.

Can't recommend this place enough! A bit of a different menu to your typical Asian restaurant (veal and rabbit are on the menu) with fast and friendly service. Make sure to get the crackling spinach, and definitely don't skip on the sizzling chocolate brownie dessert!

Fantastic dinner at Fatt Pundit! My local friend recommended the place and we all loved it so much! Clayton, our waiter, was super attentive and took great care of us. The idea for eating here is to share like tapas, therefore most dishes are small aka share-size. It was fun to try so many different dishes. Everything we orders was so so good!! Especially the crackling spinach blew our minds! We reordered it because we literally inhaled it in a second. Can’t wait to go back 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Perfect dining experience. I’ve eaten all over London and this is in my top three. This Indian-Chinese fusion is innovative and SO flavourful!! From the Okra to the lollipop chicken, we couldn’t stop eating even when we were full! Service was top tier. It’s halal too. The vibe inside is a great escape from the hustle bustle of Soho. Considering it is tapas style so you’re ordering ~5 dishes between 2 people, it wasn’t crazy expensive.

Very busy restaurant. Unique menu. The restaurant itself is very small. We were seated downstairs. It was bit stuffy and hot. They had fans there. Working air con would have been great. Anyway we ordered our food. Came within 20mins. The food was very tasty. Customer service was excellent. Will definitely return.

Standout dish for me was the fish curry and okra fries. Flavours and texture was great! The mono, noodles and chicken were pretty typical and decently yum although nothing crazy standout. Service ambience and cocktails were lovely.

Not to be picky but being an Indian who lives to eat, I am extremely sceptical about trying Indian restaurants in London. This place was on my list as had been popping on my Instagram every now and then. The concept: Good as there aren’t many Indian Chinese places in London ( and trust me Indian Chinese is soo different from the actual Chinese 😅) The menu: Limited so helps the customer decide faster. Portions: Small portions for the price asked. What I ate: The veg momos- skip it! Just frozen momos heated and given. I was sitting at the bar to saw how she was doing it. Also, very different from how a veg momo should taste like. Spinach Chaat- must try, crispy and delicious! Refeshing too. Cauliflower popcorn- good! Schezwan Noodles- good, spicy and perfectly made! Cocktails- really really good and the drink portion was nice. You could actually taste and get a kick from the spritz. I had Kala khatta and Passion fruit martini z Recommend both! Overall, nice place. Very very quick service. Friendly staff and good Indian food for London standards.

Lovely waitress who was really sweet and attentive throughout our meal - a real asset to this establishment - thanks! Chops superbly tender, off the bone kind of meat. The chicken dish was v different - not particularly to my liking. Brownie was yum.

Definitely make reservations as it can get busy. The dishes here are meant to be shared so should order multiple things. There’s a separate halal menu you can request that only includes the chicken, beef, and lamb meat options from the main menu. We ordered several things and pretty much everything tasted amazing. Start with the momos for sure since they’re great. The lamb chops were fantastic - very soft and wonderful flavours. For vegetarian dishes, the hakka chilli paneer lettuce cups were pretty delicious. I’m not usually a mocktail person but their drinks were tasty too. The service was also good - our waitress was attentive and very efficient. I can’t recommend Fatt Pundit enough!

This place is outstanding. The food, the cocktails, the service and the atmosphere were all amazing! A few of my faves are the chili prawns, the sticky sesame vegetables and the chili duck! Clayton, the host was super friendly and attentive to our table. This is one of my favorite restaurants of London and I will definitely be back soon!

Fatt Pundit (Covent Garden) branch offers incredible indoor Chinese cuisine. It was a bit too spicy on my second visit but the food overall was good. The service was good, and while the ambience could be improved, it's a place I highly recommend for satisfying your indoor Chinese cravings in central London. Great location!

Charming place with super friendly and upbeat service! All staff were exceptionally hospitable, and our waiter Lucito was incredible. We were not rushed at all, our 10 min reminder was very kindly delivered but you get a good amount of time between next table (much appreciated!) The food- great flavours, nice heat in some of the dishes and punchy spices. Loved the cauliflower popcorn, the dumplings and lollipop chicken! The dishes are quite big for tapas, good for sharing in groups! Recommend leaving room for the brownie!

Amazing food and even better service from Mervin (at the Soho branch). He was such a fun person to help out evening be that much better. Highly recommend the crackling spinach, sticky sesame vegetables and lamb chops. My favourite dishes! The cocktails were very different to the norm and had interesting indo-Chinese twists - my favourite was the White Tiger! Overall, highly recommend visiting this place.

Amazing everything. I love this little concept . Quality food, service ambience. There isn’t anything I would change. The spinach crinkles are out of this world. Portions vs. prices are very reasonable. Ribeye chops were amazing. Lamb chops as well. I would encourage to add more dessert options. Definitely recommended.

If I could ensure all good could taste this way, I would never stop eating ! Excellent vegetarian options, every bite of this food was a great taste sensation. Every dish was well thought out and complimented each other. Each part of the experience was excellent from start to end: the service, hospitality, atmosphere, and food all came together for a unforgettable meal. Will be definitely coming back !

The food here is great! A few warnings though: so the place is very small so it is hard to get a table and they are also turning tables so you get 1.5 hours to eat. We tried 7 dishes between us and they were all fantastic. The food kept on coming. The staff were attentive to us.

Food was great for the most part. The prawns were my favourite out of the selection of dishes we tried. All dishes were flavourful and cooked perfectly. Only dish we didn’t like was the baby goat momo (the dumplings).. for the price the quantity was small and lacking in the flavour department, the sauces that came with it were nice though. The service was amazing and the staff were attentive and friendly, lovely to have a chat with

Wow. Highly recommend going and ordering everything off the menu. The flavours are sensational! Staff are very attentive and friendly. They recommend approx 3 dishes per person. A group of 7 of us went and all shared what was ordered. Some of the dishes do have a kick to them so be warned! 🔥

Had an amazing dinner here. The friendly service, delicious flavours and calm atmosphere make it a great place for a small group or date night. Highly recommend the crackling spinach - I’ve never had better spinach before. The cauliflower was also amazing. Just beware about the spice levels - we got the duck dish which had a lot of heat! We enjoyed it but others could find it too spicy

The restaurant is sat across two floors and is fairly small. It has a vintage vibe with rustic-finish walls giving the feel of the colonial times. The staff is friendly, welcoming and ready to help. To start with drinks, ordered kala khatta mojito and guava chilli sour both were delicious. From the a la carte menu, ordered the kid goat momo which was fair and served with two types of chutneys. The popcorn cauliflower was crispy but very salty, served with soya garlic dip and the kolkata chilli duck was salty too. The crackling spinach and the crunchy pepper crab was deliciously and would definitely recommend. Lastly, we ordered the malabar monkfish curry with burnt ginger rice. The curry was delicious but didn't like the fish and the rice was average. The prices are reasonable for the small portions they serve. The food is average. Great vibes and amazing staff.

First time trying Indo-Chinese food and it did not disappoint! The chili chicken was very tasty and perfectly spicy (unless you are super sensitive to heat, but it was not overly intense at all). I had it with the egg fried Szechuan rice which was also very good. Nice dimly lit, lively atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, definitely recommend!!

We were looking for something in the area of the show we were going to see when we found Fatt Pundit, and we are glad we did. The lamb would be worth coming for on its own. It was the best lamb I have ever had. Cooked perfectly, with great flavor. I didn't use their sauce at all, as I don't like mint sauce, but I'm sure they probably executed that well if you are into that. In addition to the lamb we had sticky sesame vegetables that were also delicious. We tried the crispy duck and honestly, did not like it at all. The staff was so kind as to not charge us for that and we instead ordered venison chili. It was spicy, but good. The atmosphere wasn't great for us, but we did not have a reservation. We were seated by the door and when others came in we would get the rush of cold air to chill us. We are glad we got to enjoy a meal here and would happily return, next time, with reservations.

4.5⭐️ Great Indo-Chinese food! Their menu is very diverse and includes something for every taste. The fried spinach appetizer and the brownie desert were particularly decadent, the soft shelled crab dish is very delicious and innovative. The fried okra is also a great way to start, specially if you’re vegan. The cocktails were perfectly adequate and the ambiance was nice. The high tables were a little uncomfortable though.

We visited the Fatt Pundit for a Friday lunch service. This restaurant came recommended from a friend, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome. As we had never been before. We were advised to order between 5 or 6 dishes for 2 people to share. Along with dim sum and a drink. The food was delicious. And the service was impeccable. We highly recommend the venison dish. This was my favourite, followed closely be the sticky vegetables. Overall a very nice restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, me and my husband had not reserved a table and when we arrived, the place was full but they opened the basement seating for us which was very thoughtful. The food was extremely flavourful and delicious, I would definitely come here again when in London! A big thank you to Raj who waited on us and was extremely attentive and would fill up our drinks without us having to call on him, he could tell the AC was bothering us and turned it off without us saying a word! Thank you very much!! We hope to see you again soon!!

From food to service, everything was impeccable. We were served by Jay who went out of his way to make our dinner special - he brought out yogurt when one item was too spicy, he brought out a birthday card for my cousin (who’s birthday we were celebrating) and overall provided a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend

We had an outstanding experience here! Our server Maisha was very friendly and on top of it! She asked what our allergies were (lactose intolerant) and handed us a dairy free menu which I thought was super accommodating for a restaurant to have. It took the pressure off us having to ask the server a bunch of times what was dairy free or not. We ordered many things, all of which were great, but the prawns, rabbit dumplings, softshell crab, and crunchy okra were the main highlights that left a lasting impression. The cocktails were also delicious! I forget the names of them but one had tequila, guava, and chili and the other had rum, ginger, and coconut foam. We had such a good time I don’t even want to mention this but the only thing we didn’t like was the vegan brownie. The sizzling chocolate presentation was really cool but to me and my girlfriend it had no flavor. That’s an easy fix and overall it was still a 5 star experience!

The atmosphere here was really nice and friendly, we were served by Clayton and he made sure we were alright with everything throughout our stay. The service was very good! We got fried rice, popcorn chicken and noodles. All the food was good and well seasoned, and the popcorn chicken was not dry! The brownie for dessert was the perfect way to end our meal!

Took my wife here for her birthday earlier this month. It was an absolutely amazing experience. We were well looked after by Mervin, a host whose charm and personality alone is worth the ticket price. The menu is exciting, small plates fusing Asian flavours in exciting new ways... Mervin recommended the Mixed Veg with the promise that if we didn't like it; he would pay for it himself. It was so good, we ordered it TWICE. Thanks Mervin for that amazing recommend. The other dishes all sung different songs, some sweet, some sour, all perfectly flavoured and balanced. The cocktails worked well with the dishes. The atmosphere is intimate and dark but still modern and comfortable. We were surprised by a birthday song and treat by the staff which wrapped up the most perfect evening out. Thanks guys, we really really appreciate all that you did for us. We can't wait to visit you all again.

Pros: very nice food, well made. Came extremely quickly to our table. The staff were super attentive and always around and checking on us when we needed them. The chocolate brownie was really nice and enjoyable. The food was flavoursome Cons: everything was really spicy. It took away from being able to enjoy the food and a lot of the flavours were the same. The space inside is really cramped and tight. Our tables were very close to the other ones.

Have had so many people rave about this place and I went for the first time last night. Safe to say I was not disappointed. My partner and I had a mix of dishes: okra, lamb chops, monkfish curry, beef ribeye, steamed broccoli, chicken momos and beef momos. Every single dish was delicious. They also do some great virgin cocktails, the guava sour is definitely worth a try. It was a birthday meal, and the staff kindly brought out the most delicious hot brownie! Meruin was amazing and full of knowledge, he took the time to explain the history of the cuisine and it’s uniqueness as well as how the dishes are created. It’s a small but mighty restaurant in Soho and we will definitely be back!

Delicious food. Lovely staff! Everything we ordered was great. You have to try the Crackling Spinach and Sticky Sesame Vegetable (I wish there was a meat version of this it would’ve been amazing) the portions are small but everything is filling.
