Munchkin has super fun at the park. Love the full play area. Find it to be safe. Sad to see that people don't clean up after themselves when they can easily dispose of their rubbish in the bins provided, instead they leave choose to leave it on the benches amd on the floor.

This is a lovely park. We were visiting grandad around the corner, and he suggested here (i had not heard of it before). There is plenty to keep the kids of all ages amused! There was a great sand play area that was very popular with the children, as well as an older children wooden and rope play area. It was a fun couple of hours!

Plenty of spaces in the first car park. And more spaces further up the road if needed. I noticed there's not a whole lot of disables bays. But the spaces are plentiful and plenty wide enough.

A great day out for the family, whether it's a nice park your after or just a nice family walk. There is a little cafe on site for any refreshments, along with toilets which is handy with young children. The park itself was great, different objects to play on for different ages. The park also had a little funfair there, with rides, bouncy castle etc. Worth having a visit.

Not as good as it used to be (as I remember as a kid) but good cafe few thing missing for the kids to play on, good wide open spaces around shame the had to close the little zoo too and the rock gardens never seem to be open have fond memories as a kid goin in there shame really good for dogs too as it has big fields around for them to play in my opinion they need to update it as the equipment is a little boring and the train never seems to be running either so it has good and bad like everything els I suppse

Lovely park with nice, large cafe. Very accessible even with bulky prams. The park is looking a bit tired in parts but otherwise lovely

Free to use car park near to decent little cafe. Kids enjoy the park there, but it's nothing amazing. The car park was frozen over when last there and it had no gritting or clearance undertaken so very slippy, and had to push the car out.

Good place for kids and walking dog. Has a miniature railway but it's not working at moment as thefts stole the tracks. Plenty benches to sit on. Has a cafe and toilets

We love this park. Lots for the kids to play with, travelling fair during summer, model railway and interactive outdoor play in the HIVE. The cafe which is run by the wildlife Trust if fantastic, and has a good selection of hot and cold foods and drink.

Nice place to go. There's outdoor gym equipment, open space for children to play. A play area, miniature railway, tennis courts, bowling green and cafe. Also other events and attractions over the year like a fair or classic cars.

It's in a good location particularly if you have small children or mobility issues. But it's small and not marked very well. There is a much bigger and better carpark at the front of the Park

Park every Monday morning to walk around the rose gardens with my mum and small dog. Always pleasant with various colourful flowers and trees, well maintained without being overly neat. Paths have just been relayed. We always call at the café which is very popular, lots of seating inside and out, dog friendly and the staff are friendly and efficient.

The park is lovely, I took my 2 year old daughter for a few hours. I think the park really misses the animals section it used to have however I thought id try the new kids play area they have built in place of this. After walking up the ramps for 10 minutes with a 2 year old I was told I had to go back and buy a ticket from reception. I would of done this if there were any clear signs. It wasn't worth the walk back up so we left.

Great day out with young family, £6.50 to enter the childrens play garden and activity area for the day, apple trees to pick from, muddy kitchen for dirty play area, building block area, build a den area, fairy gardens, lots to do. Reasonable cafe prices, cakes and light lunch. Fantastic free park areas for teens and toddlers. Train around grounds and a fare ground. Full day out.

Nice Park. The train is a nice touch, and so is the abundance of squirrels. Cafe is a bit pricey but I understand these things need funding.

  • 5/5 Charlotte Y. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely amazing park, so many things to do there including great play area, different garden features and convenient cafe. The highlight for me was the Hive at the back of the cafe - very inspiring and perfect for anyone with kids that love natural play.

  • 4/5 John L. 2 years ago on Google
Great day out to bring your kids and family has a lovely cafe eat in or outside pleasant surroundings

  • 4/5 Lee T. 2 years ago on Google
Just needs looking after more, rock gardens need to be opened, zoo should never have been closed, pitch and putt should still be there, bowls closed to public, tennis courts had floodlights fitted which were a waste of money. The gardens aren't what they once were. I know there have been many cuts to budgets but a lot of the problem here is just lack of care

Kids loved it and much much cleaner than last time I was there

  • 2/5 Mark G. 1 year ago on Google
The council may call it rewilding but the fact is they have reduced the usable area of the park by 50٪. Get the mowers out and return the park to its original condition.

Moss Bank Park is beautiful! Unfortunately the car park gets very busy and is very small. It's always difficult to find anywhere to park.

  • 3/5 Susan L. 2 years ago on Google
Would be great if the play equipment were maintained as two have been out of action for12 months.is the Japanese Garden ever open ?!

  • 5/5 B. T. B. P. 2 years ago on Google
This is a fantastic park, well worth a visit with young ones. Great variety of playground equipment, miniature railway, nice cafe and a messy play part which I’ve not seen yet. Also really nice trees and well maintained. Car park is a decent size and free to park but height barrier stops vans getting in. Other outdoor exercise equipment too. Could do with a circular walk but all in all a fantastic park to visit. Well done Bolton council 👏👏👏

  • 5/5 Michael R. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of fresh air to be had, and loads going on if you like a good old nature walk. Fantastic friendly staff in the cafe.

Great park. Great for walks and for children to enjoy themselves. An ice cream van always on site. (When I was younger there used to have a monorail active at the park - please can someone bring it back!)
