This is a posh Afternoon Tea suite at The Connaught Hotel. The customer services is top class🌟The greeting & welcome from the gent at the hotel entrance was very good. The lady in the waiting area to the Jean-Georges suite was very welcoming. The waiter assigned to our table was very attentive, professional & pleasant. The afternoon tea was brilliant⭐The napkins were straightened & laid on our laps.At each tea refill, our tea was poured into our cups. The sandwiches were fresh & tasty. The scones & pastry were equally delightful.I highly recommend the experience - though rather pricey👌🌟

Charming and elegant decor and atmosphere. Creative and diversified menu with quite few options especially for lunch. Service is friendly and competent. I came mainly for the burger which I found to be outstanding. Good bun that does not melt, good quality meat and tasty sauce. It is a solid burger. The other items that I tired were also tasty and delicious.

Beautiful venue. But better just to visit. Highly overpriced, underwhelming high tea.

Afternoon tea is a delight at The Connaught. Generous portion sizes, fantastic choice of sandwiches for all dietary requirements and the scones and cakes are so good. They had their own version of a Ferrero Roche which was amazing. The non-alcoholic sparking grape wine was brilliant too and they had a fantastic selection of teas - the white teas are a great choice. We have been twice - one at Xmas (menu) and once in September, but both were brilliant. Xmas is that bit extra special though and the gingerbread chocolate fondue was amazing. The staff are so knowledgeable and make brilliant recommendations too.

One of my favourite places to dine in London. The food is always exquisite from start to finish. The staff were friendly and noted any accomodations. The bread selection is very generous. I appreciate the wide range of vegan and vegetarian options offered, everything from the starters to the sides. I’d never tried the famous truffle pizza, and I’m so glad I did. The flavours were well balanced and strong without being too rich. The kale salad was also enjoyable. I especially loved the warm chocolate cake. Cooked fresh, perfect temperate and not overly sweet. It finished the meal off on a high. I felt the prices were completely justified for the standard of the food and overall experience. Look forward to returning.

I went for my mum's birthday with some of our family. Our experience wasn't bad; the food was nice enough and the winter garden is bright and airy. However the service was slow and the whole hotel just didn't have an exclusive 5* feel as there were so many people coming in - either to go to the bar or the restaurant. Lovely location, just not worth the price/not good enough.

Very food and quite pricey. The bread is amazing, they have lots of wine options and the service is fast but not very friendly. I would have expected a better service (they made a mistake with the time of our reservation and we still had to wait because the table was not ready yet. I think the way they manage this is not adequate for the level of the restaurant)

Had the afternoon tea which was okay. The sandwiches were really bland, absolutely no taste (I had veggie ones made for me as I'm pregnant). The sweet part was also okay but nothing extraordinary. What we didn't like was staff offering us things without letting us know it is not included in the price of the afternoon tea package so we ended up spending more (like water which eventually we didn't really drink as there was lots of tea). In my opinion, staff should notify when something is not included in the package, otherwise looks like they were just trying to make us spend more unnecessarily.

The venues is modern unlike other tea house. One of their staff is extremely friendly , highly appreciated his service But I think the desert didn’t deserve it’s price

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. The vibe was nice, but the food was just okay. Wait staff weren't very attentive either. Had to keep flagging them down for drinks.

Last night had such a lovely dinner here at the Connaught with my friends. Warm ambience, attentive service, great quality food and drinks. Our Portuguese waiter was a star of the evening and his suggestions were highly appreciated. The best mille-feuille I have had in London so far.

We went for a romantic diner for our wedding anniversary and we had a great time. We even get a sweet treat surprise for the occasion. The staff was very friendly and smiling without being too present. Our waiter Eduardo was just perfect, very thoughtful and kind. It was very appreciated. A special star to the chocolate and hazelnut dessert highly recommended!

A truly decadent afternoon tea experience in one of London’s finest hotels. I can say with some confidence, having had afternoon tea at several hotels in town, that this was the best tasting by far - the sandwiches were divine and I was lucky to come on a week with Asian-inspired flavors, like shiso, wasabi and teriyaki. Every single sandwich was perfect and I had seconds of them all, which is rare for me! The scones and pastries were of equal - if not greater - quality, and I truly take my hat off to the pastry chef. The rhubarb choux was so light and fresh and I don’t even like rhubarb; the strawberry pavlova was like a cloud and had the most intense strawberry flavor. The scones were fluffy and came with delicious jam and cream. I also liked the added touch of a sparkling grape juice included in the price, which we greatly enjoyed, as well as the chocolate fondue. In terms of the atmosphere, it’s a beautiful space overlooking an iconic square but it doesn’t quite compare to the grandeur and intimacy of some other hotels’ palm courts; it’s also somewhat louder and there’s no soft music to accompany the meal, which might suit those looking for a more lively, modern vibe for this traditional affair. The service was impeccable, knowledgeable, and so courteous and we felt well taken care of. My only qualm would be the somewhat limited selection of teas, which is a shame, but the existing teas are all superb.

An amazing and beautiful place to have lunch. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. A large selection of bread for starters with amazing butter served with it. We had been treated for an early mother's Day lunch, and the restaurant had arranged a small dessert for us. A lovely restaurant with good food and great service.

Immaculate restaurant experience. I visited for a business lunch and found everything flawless. Fortunately for me, the menu was my ideal mix of things like octopus and salmon served simply.

A lovely experience in an elegant establishment. Surprisingly we didn't need to book even though the place looked heaving. Ate the halal lambchops & broccoli which were tasty.

Second favorite afternoon tea after Claridge's. The room is beautiful and both time I had a great table. Service is impeccable as expected in a 5* hotel / restaurant. The staff is very well trained. The amuse-bouche is delicious. The sandwiches are excellent, the breads are fresh and just the right amount of filling. Scones were incredible and warm. I usually have a couple bites of the sweet bites, but I ate them all at The Connaught. The teas are excellent. The atmosphere and the lighting are wonderful. I always recommend The Connaught when friends ask where to go for tea. If you have time, have a drink at The Bar in the back. Stunning room and the cocktail cart is so fun!
