Historic
Building
.
Lots
of
activities
.
Great
dance
floor
.
I
visited
the
Rivoli
this
weekend
{6
August
2019
}
though
I
did
Ballroom
&
Latin
dance
competitions
as
a
child
here.
The
ballroom
floor
is
excellent
and
I
love
the
comfy
pew
seating
as
well
as
tables
and
chairs
making
it
really
good
to
just
sit
and
watch,
if
you
don't
dance,
which
some
people
do.
I
met
the
family
who
own
it
and
they
work
so
hard
and
are
so
lovely
but
with
such
a
characterful
place
it's
a
lot
of
work
to
keep
it
running.
The
ladies
toilets
have
three
cubicles,
peeling
wallpaper
and
very
tired
facilities
but
all
is
clean
and
taken
care
of,
so
I'll
call
it
shabby
chic.
There
is
a
huge
cloakroom
which
wasn't
used
but
may
be
used
for
private
functions.
I
think
the
character
of
the
place
and
the
range
of
themed
nights
they
offer
-
Film
nights,
Disco,
Ballroom
&
Latin
dancing,
Jive
nights
-
it's
well
worth
joining
their
emailing
list.
Saturday
19.30-midnight
was
just
£10
for
this
regular
Ballroom
&
Latin
event
which
was
very
popular.
I
came
via
Brockley
(Overground
Line)
and
it's
short
bus
ride
to
the
venue.
Crofton
Station
(Overground)
is
directly
opposite
the
venue
but
returning
after
the
event
the
London
locations
were
to
London
Bridge
so
it
was
easier
for
me
to
catch
the
bus
back
to
Brockley
and
the
overground
form
there
gave
me
better
and
faster
Saturday
night
options.
The
people
in
this
South
London
area
are
super
friendly
and
helpful,
offering
advice
on
the
Crofton
station
which
was
unmanned
on
a
Saturday
night
and
looks
closed
but
there
is
a
side
door
to
platforms,
which
a
lovely
lady
who
overheard
me
claiming
it
was
closed,
informed
me,
also
lovely
people
at
Brockley
directing
me
to
the
buses
to
get
to
Rivoli
which
is
a
straight
run
of
about
5
stops.
Really
nice
evening
at
a
historic
and
legendary
venue.
