Caps off brewery is very well laid out inside. Brewery on one side and then bar and kitchen on the other. Seating, there are tables and benches to sit on. There is also a sofa area as well. Inside there is plenty of patio heaters to keep the building warm. Bar wise, Caps Off own beers to chose from and they have a varied range and are always excellent beers. Food is rotational on a Saturday with different food vendors coming in. Saturday nights will occasionally host bands as well. It’s one of the best tap rooms around and is really worth the effort to find it.

Fine selection of beers from far and wide, some strong and some very strong. Didn't try the food but it looked good and was very popular. Worth dropping in if you are passing by.

Great little brewery. Visited for a family christening as the after church celebration was here. Plenty of choice for the ales. I had the pale ale and it was fantastic. The buffet they provided was a mix of hot/cold choices and it was delicious. Plenty of parking available outside and a great location away from town.

Wonderful cosy & welcoming environment with a huge variety of Beer & Spirits. There is also freshly brewed Coffee available which is delicious, 10x better quality than anything else in the area. The staff are polite and helpful, Chloe was on hand to answer any questions I had regarding various beers. I will definitely be returning to Caps Off, a fantastic local business with quality products and top customer service.

Really enjoyable day out. Bishop Auckland is in the early days of a long-term, very determined effort to boost its fortunes which has already produced many admirable successes, not least of which is Caps Off. Its menu of great beers, some of which are superb, and good food are backed up by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Well worth the effort!

Beautiful food and a lovely selection of craft ale. Dog friendly and for me the best bit is it's right on the train station in Bishop Auckland so you can pop there from nearby Shildon and Aycliffe in the train very easily. Love this place.

Always a good night, or afternoon, or whenever. Food is top notch. Frozen cocktails are fabulous and well priced. More choice than you could want for drinks

Bit of an odd location but great beer inside. I also think they keep a kidnapped 3 star Michelin chef in the box outside as the food is amazing

Brewery tap room serving the Bishop Auckland area. Great locally brewed Craft beer. Recently reopened kitchen serving superb street food.

Street food and service excellent great choice of beers. More comfy seating would be good, great place. Dog friendly means would go back.

Enjoyed a visit to Caps Off brewery for their beer festival while staying in Witton-le-Wear for a holiday. A great selection of Caps Off beers plus some guest bears. A nice chilled atmosphere and good service from the bar staff. Would definitely return for more beer. Cheers 🍻

Total chaos for the event on Saturday afternoon/evening, 35 minutes plus to be served at the bar..... Food queue was disgraceful and we waited/ queued over 30 minutes for a very small burger with no fries, utterly shameful, £10 for the charity event..... This company needs to rethink how it manages events. Only positive was the live band,Ded wrongenz, fantastic end to the evening.

Great little place, but not the easiest to find. Lots of drinks on offer. Did get a dodgy pint of stout which was disappointing. Barman changed it without much fuss though.

Lots of choice of beer, ciders and spirits. We also had Christmas cocktails which were delicious and very strong!

Nice taproom, large choice and selection of alcoholic drinks, food also available, friendly staff, only downside is you need your own transport to the site.
