👍👍 A quiet midweek meal with a friend. As usual great staff and tasty home cooked meals, liver and bacon for me and corned beef pie for my friend. All hot and fresh, yum. Although I didn't have the dog with me the bar is very dog friendly and there is a great dog menu as well.

👍 Excellent cafe on A68 (hence the name) good parking for Bikes and outdoor eating area. Food is very good and has an extensive menu. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is very clean and tidy. Definitely well worth a visit if you get the chance.

👍👍 Arrived wet, tired and hungry half-way through a long bike ride. We had missed last orders on lunch by 15 minutes. However, the landlady did her very best for us and rustled up two pie and peas with gravy and buttered bread and then a bowl of new potatoes. Great food and real first class service.
