We got the chicken karahi, chapli kebab, and the chicken malai kebab Chicken karahi: took me straight to Afghanistan with the authentic taste of karahi. Extremely flavour-some with fall off the bone chicken. Chapli kebab: massive portions with tender and juicy meat. Good flavour too. Malai kebab: a tad bit overcooked, however, the flavour was excellent. Topped off with some exquisite tea. All in all, satisfying meal. 4.5/5.

Got served pretty fast but seemed like a hassle to just get a price off them. Then after paying guy just seemed to toss the coin towards me. Bought one chapli kebab which is all I wanted but got given salad and chutney too, prob should have asked if I wanted that. The chapli kebab was actually meaty and piping hot fresh. But something was missing. It was just bland even with the chutney. Seemed like decent deco and seating area though but food quality is more important.

Afghani establishment, the restaurant is clean and family friendly, menu is simple, staff was polite and food was better than we expected. We ordered seek kebabs, lamb chops as a starter which were freshly made and for the main we had a charsi karahi which tasted amazing, up there with some of the other restaurant offering this kind of food as the afghan charsi karahi is becoming a trend, finished off with the chai, overall a good dinning experience and food was good definitely worth a try.

Visited this restaurant again as its a family favourite now, the service is second to none, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. They have started offering a tawa for 2/3/4 people and the portion sizes are amazing. The food is all freshly made and you can taste the freshness the masala fish was so soft inside and the batter was lovely and crispy, I loved the Kabuli Pulao rice and Seekh Kebabs. A must try. They also give a really nice green tea to finish the meal.

Heard amazing things about this place and they are all TRUE! Ordered the kabli pilau which came with a lamb shank that was literally falling off the bone - so soft and the flavour of the rice was divine! Filling portion for one and enough to share as 2 if you order other things off menu. The masala fish was some of the best I’ve ever had, ever. No fishy smell at all, just soft and flaky, great spices used and not greasy. The naans were definitely freshly made, perfect combo with the masala fish, the salad and mint sauce/chutney. Chapli kebabs were also great, great portion size and having them with the naan, salad , sauces were sooo good. Will definitely be coming here REGULAR! Got 3 drinks too and it came to £29.50 Theres traditional afghani tea for 50p too, a really nice refreshing taste - got a cardamom taste if you dont mind that but thats the tradition. The service is good, nice and friendly and easy to get their attention as they’re always alert for the customers. Atmosphere is homely, nothing extravagant in decor but they’ve got some booths in the back, perfect for families. - Came back again for their breakfast and tried the channa and Nihari with paratha. Enjoyed the channa but felt like more desi flavour/spices were needed, felt a little bland only tasting the chickpeas. The nihari was so soft and the gravy with it wasn’t spicy at all. Taste more like a meat stew/soup sort of thing. Meat was nice but I wasn’t feeling any desi spices to it at all unfortunately. - Came back a third time to try their new tawa menu. Tawa for 3 people cost £40 which was overpriced for the amount they gave. On the menu it said “chicken curry, lamb curry, …. Etc” but the waiter said you can only choose either chicken or lamb. Why is it included in the description when you dont offer it? Dont get me wrong, the lamb curry was amazing but the portion was NOT FOR THREE PEOPLE. Definitely for 2 people. It was 3 seek kebab, 3 small chicken boti, 3 small fish pakora, 3 chapli kebabs (not chunky, they flattened it out to make it look big!!!) and chips and nan - How do you offer 1 naan in a tawa for THREE????? If another curry was included, then fair enough. Other tawa places give more curry and a larger portion on a tawa priced at £40. Lower the price or increase the portion. (Also, prices have gone up by a couple quid here n there)

The staff never went round to tables if customers needed anything, 🙄 noticed customer going up to order extra.. also the staff look like they just got off the airplane.. need lots of training

we paid 40 quid for that tawa thing it looked good. I liked the presentation, but everything else was really disappointing because i heard a lot about this place, but it's not worth it that tawa only comes with one curry nice, but the portion was way too small for 3 people to share and for the amount that we've paid. Starters were tasteless and cold, and the guy who took our order he didn't know anything about taking orders or explaining them he was completely lost they didn't even bothered to ask us about the food. horrible experience

Tasty food. Chapli kebab for my taste, not so spicy, very delish, and small, marinated lamb bites was gorgeous. Kind staff, always there when needed. Will be coming again. Recommended

Best parathas nice warm crispy and made freshly on order... But chanas need bit of work on it as they were bit hard and dry. Also hygiene was very poor, the restrooms desperately need a deep clean.

Excellent food and good service. The chapli kebabs and naan are tasty and fresh. The murgh malai was delicious, not to spicy. The parata was also nice with choley with fried egg perfect breakfast. Price is very reasonable

Probably the closest to authentic peshawari/afghani food in Bradford. Food came fresh and piping hot despite it being a busy restaurant. We ordered the charsi karahi which is lamb and only comes in 1kg. We also ordered the namak Mandi chicken karahi. Both were very tasty and authentic. Chapli kebab was nice and soft. Malai tikka was also soft and tender and had a nice flavour. Nothing was too spicy (which is what I’d expect at an Afghan/peshawari style restaurant). You don’t order naan separately, nor does it show up in the bill. I thought this was quite good. They just come and top up your naan when it looks like you need some. Prevent waste of food. They gave complimentary kahwa at the end. The waiters do need a little bit of training. We found some plastic wrapping in the salad and when we complained to the waiter, he didn’t apologise. He just said ‘it’s probably from when they were cutting the lettuce’. If you’re someone who orders Tap water, is not provided there. The waiter when asked to bring tap water said ‘the era of tap water is over’.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner last night. We were celebrating my birthday. The atmosphere was lovely. The many windows let you have nice views of the lush/tropical landscape surrounding the restaurant on the hotel grounds.
