Bought by first combat jacket here as a teenager in the 70's (!) and love coming back. Really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. THis is a an excellent little family run shop that still has that good old fashioned sense of pride, quality and customer service - a real pillar of Sunderlands heritage. Staff helpful, friendly and first class. IF you want rock bottom cheap crap - go online - if you want the convenience and quality of service delivery on top of a a wealth of tips, advice and guidance then go no further than this lovely local facility that we are still lucky to have in Sunderland - no thanks to its council who have run shops like this out of business with its rates and parking rat wardens!

I decided to treat myself to my own skis and ski boots for this season as a new skier I was unsure what would be best for me. Anthony at Reynolds outdoor centre was an incredible help. He clearly has years of experience that I feel would not be available from a general shop assistant at one of the bigger ski supply chains. Anthony explained everything clearly and helped me make an informed decision on what ski equipment was right for my ability level. He was very patient with my many questions and explained everything in an understandable way. On top of the 10 out of 10 customer service the equipment I bought was very competitively priced. I will return to Reynolds outdoor centre when need arrives and would recommend everyone to use this shop for their Skiing and other outdoor activity needs.

Excellent customer service. I went a week before I was due to set off to Peru to hike the Inca trail. I had tried lots of boots during the previous 2 years and suffered. Thanks for been patient with me and helping to choose the correct boot. They were perfect not a blister or bruised toe in sight. I will definitely be back for walking shoes.

They have good stuff, but it us too tightly packed, making it hard to extract from rails to try on.
