😠 Went to the Sutton branch, as my local one has been closed down, having security issues with my card, was told by staff that there are 2 members of staff looking at queue, either wait 1 hour or wait in queue for telephone!     Walked in to cash a queue on Saturday and as I approached the counter your representative stopped me, not politely. "Um, where are you going". "I'm going to cash a cheque", to which I recoeved the very abrupt reply "you can't, there's no counter on Saturday". I thought it was rude and totally unprofessional. Not once did someone ask me if they could help.

    Just visit branch When enter at 11:47 am was busy One of female staff happy to help, but now at 12:34pm 2 male and female standing but Not happy to help Regarding my credit card direct debit issues. They refuse very gentle way Say use our phone and call

    Looked up HSBC Sutton as was near to where I was. Saw it was open so drove half an hour to deposit some cash, to be told there is noone on the tills today! What’s the point in opening!? Yes I could pay cash in the machine (if I had my debit card with me) but machines don’t need the branch open! It should state clearly “we are open but tills are closed so you cant actually do any banking with us”

    Found it very easy to open my account and the staff was very helpful and kind. Special thanks to Christine for taking time and explaining in detail about a lot of important points and also to the gentleman at the front desk. Thank you guys for all your kind help👍

    Newer again HSBC Sutton I open my business banking there now I just say once wrong number card because they sent me new and buy mistake no second chance they blocked my online and now internet banking need started all processes like new customer the customer service it’s poor don’t know how to help was started couple months ago when I was asked on customer services about don’t know transaction 4 advisor can’t help where was made it’s bank shouldn’t know like that thing last person switch me off standard I call again but first line advisor and second say aging I just give up now don’t have any access to my bank because need waiting for letter and Royal Mail have Strike ASAP I’m going any other bank what it’s painful from small issues they done big issue for clients stress and my anger on the branch you can have any advice because now it’s online advisor only with they don’t have the power to help

    Excellent staff, really know their business! I opened a service account here and Arun, Arif and Paula were very courteous and took a good deal of time to answer all my questions and concerns, and offered additional advise regarding handling money for the future. I am surprised by all the negative reviews on Google. These guys make banking a human experience.

    Great staff but despite remaining closed for the whole of summer they still only have 2 counters which often makes it impossible for businesses who pay for their banking to actually get any float money or pay in cash Shame that HSBC doesn’t care about small businesses at all despite charging them to bank

    Been to this HSBC branch a handful of times. Everytime it leaves me puzzle, on few occasions been told that they are fully booked for the day and then I see numerous staff members walking around without serving a customer. Excuse me.... u said fully booked??

    When I started having my account with HSBC I thought it is a good bank, but any time when I had a problem they didn’t know how to solve it or they found just excuses to not help me. Maybe, other branch is better

    Excellent service. Great understanding of customer needs. The staff members of Sutton branch were excellent in providing service to customers, especially by following all the precautionary measures during the pandemic. Highly recommended to avail their services.
