Staff are very efficient and kind. They are very helpful and there is almost no queue. Also, you are served with endless patience! Would recommend this Post Office!

They do a very hard sell on getting you to pay extra for insurance of parcels. Nowhere else does such a hard sell and totally unnecessary (in 99.99% of the time I reckon). All you need is proof of postage and they told me that they do not routinely give out proof of postage (unless specifically asked). This is typical of the generally unhelpful attitude and lack of any willingness to deliver a good customer service / experience.

This place is an embarrassment to the city of Belfast. It is Belfast's main post office and it is extremely disorganised. Extremely understaffed. The self service machines don't work. You will wait for over 20 minutes before getting served. Absolute joke.

I entered this morning to purchase some Discworld special stamps, and Gerry (at the business counter) was incredibly kind and helpful, so I wanted to thank him publicly!

This was an amazing Post Office with a great bunch of staff. Really without them, it would be hard to carry out any sort of business. Recently top management seem to have reduced the number of staff dramatically. This, i'm sure has added to the workload and pressure of those who remain. In December there was a guy standing at the self service entrance kiosk who basically randomly jumped in front of me. I didn't know who he was. He was determined to have my parcel. It was a pre paid one so I just waited for the counter number. To be honest, his role was a waste of time and would have been better off helping the staff behind the counter. Overall a great bunch, but it's a shame that the 'powers that be' have run it down, Hopefully they will have a rethink.

I went here yesterday along with my family to collect my BRP card. There's enough seating place for kids and elderly. Lots of stationary items, cards scissors, tape etc available. Staff is polite and got my work done within 5 mins as it wasn't much crowded. Only wish there was a washroom in there as my toddler had to go in emergency, but the staff was kind enough to guide us to a cafe, where we could use the loo.

Called in 6th July to renew 2 passports the lady who served us and did the digital passports was really lovely and it was a very easy system Pleased to sayreceived our new passports 8 days laterthankyou Margaset

Compared to post offices I've been to in London, this was spacious and seemed much much better staffed! Did not have to wait long at all, and have a good amount of seating while you wait for your number to be called

I left a bag behind me when I was using the post office on 05/08/22, unfortunately we were heading back to Cork, after a wonderful week in Belfast the next morning. I wrote when I got back home telling staff what happened and lo and behold I got the bag back in the post in a few days! Thank you manager Irene! x

You get there at 4pm .. refuse to take anything bigger than 60cm.. as the private firm ‘parcel force’ that they outsource to has ‘been n gone’… on a Thursday before Easter.. nothing being lifted til the following Tuesday! The Saturday they’re now saying is a bank holiday.. shambles. Surely the SENSE thing to do is have parcel force call at fkin 5pm!!? No.. it’s only a postal service… SHAMBLES

I've just been to renew my passport using the digital process at the post office. It was the easiest most efficient process to do. This was helped by the friendly, happy and helpful staff on duty and I would recommend this service and branch to the public everywhere. Many thanks

Horrible experience today. ‘Lady’ with long blonde hair so rude and obnoxious to me I gave up and left in tears. I went back 10 minutes later to get another form and while I was standing in the queue waiting to be served she was shouting loudly to her (embarrassed) colleagues ‘If she comes back I’m not serving her’. Why be in a customer facing role if you dislike people this much? At no point was I rude to her. Her behaviour was so unnecessary and really let down the Post Office, an institution I’ve always found very impressive. I’ll go to my local Post Office in future. The staff there have manners. And I’ll be making an official complaint.

Amazing visit to apply to renew my passport. Staff very welcoming and helpful. I needed to get fresh photographs taken (mine were the wrong size) I was sent to Snappy Snaps just across the street, which was also ultra friendly, efficient and inexpensive. When I got back to the Post Office I was taken immediately and had some of the best craic whilst finishing off the process. Whole process took way less than an hour and was great fun.

One of the worst post office I've come across. The lady with blonde hair at the counter was so rude and I regret that I tried making her listen.This was for a return package label. Why do such people get into a customer helping role if they have no intention/attitude of doing so? Postal,brp card collection services were kind of mixed bag and out of all my visit I couldn't find anything good here.

lunch time in December, 2 counter staff on duty, over 60 tickets waiting to be served. An hour's wait to post one letter, the response to my review was at least quicker!

All services related to post office and FX avaliable. Quick and easy to use the self check outs. Staff is friendly and supportive.

I have just been at 15:30 and the door was locked behind me (2 hours early) with a queue of probably 30 to 40 people in front of me. Ticket machine broken again and no staff on the floor to let people out the door. At one point there were probably 10 people trying to get out with no possible way without trying to break the glass. Occasionally someone would appear with a key to let people out. I am sure there is a law (fire safety) against locking a door in a public venue with no emergency exit doors available and no staff by the door to let people out. Absolutely disgraceful management for the main Post Office in Belfast!!!

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!! My friend and I went in to post of a package to the US and after being told that they would accept her parcel for the US if she “hurried up about it”, after them stating that due to the postage date they had to accept it and because she wasn’t going fast enough we were shouted like children at school by another worker screaming “if we don’t hurry up they won’t take it and she’ll have to just come back tomorrow”(after she stated that she couldn’t this was the only time she had off work to post anything. But as it was too close to their closing time (10 minutes left) and my stating that she was done she just needed to tape the box close, the lady serving us growled “give me the box through or we’ll be here all night.” Wouldn’t bother going unless you want dog abuse even though they stated they would serve us. A formal complaint will be passed on. Absolutely scandalous!! I wouldn’t want these type‘s of women working for me, clearly need to learn what good costumer service i! My friend left the office in tears! Would avoid going to a lady with blonde hair and another blonde wearing glasses if I were you

Very bad service . i went today to deposit money so i took token for business services but after wait my turn i went on counter one girl sitting there told me i have less then £1000 so i have to use other service option . i went to get another token and after wait 15 mins i have to went to same desk and deposit my money . when i asked why u didt took the money before and she gave me very atupid readon that u cant pass other people . i didt understand how i passed other people when i waited for my turn . she has absolutly no clue what she saying , very bad behaviour , rude and i dont know what kind of service they giving .. they have to change staff with those who know how to treat customer ...

Incredibly awful experience. As an international student, I didn’t know I was not allowed to take pic/videos in the building. Since it was my first time posting some important docs at a foreign post office, I took a video & planning to share it with my parents. But the lady at the counter shouted at me as if I were a suspect. Her voice was super loud until all the customers & the staffs kept staring at me even after the incident. Rude & disrespectful lady. Thanks for educating me, but I think you should fix your attitude. Why be in a customer-facing role when you can’t speak/ treat your customer politely? 😀 Your should relearn your manners. “Treat others how you want to be treated.”

Great staff trying to do there very best considering how short staffed they are.

Awful service , rude people and really not qualified for simple tasks. I had to go in store three times only to realise that they did a mistake and should have resolved this during my first visit. It is so sad that they waste peoples' time like this

City post office offers range of services. Basic post services as well as Royal mail special delivery, first and second class delivery options. You can buy envelopes directly. Also offers banking services like cash chanes and currency conversion. People can collect bietric resident permists from this post office. DVA provisional forms also available here.

I went in here today with a friend as she needed to get a postal order. My goodness 😳 so fancy compared to what it used to be. When you walk 🚶‍♂️ in you have to take a ticket 🎟 then you have a seat 💺 then they call your number 😉 and you proceed to the counter. Just a word of warning ⚠️ and this is why I'm only giving it 4 stars 🌟. My friend doesn't carry cash or cards ab nd pays everything from her phone but they dont accept that so I had cash with me and was able to lend her what she needed.

There was barely anyone there. It's great if you need to post parcels. They've got boxes and the flimsy bags to put your property into to then post. They have a money exchange. They have a birthday, anniversary, new home, cards section.

The lady who changed my euros was a cow, like comically bad customer service
