Lovely getaway. Had two days away with my partner for our 13th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely site, and facilities. Probably the best showers I've ever had at a camp site. Lovely walks nearby easily accessible from the site. Bella and Toby were lovely workers as well 👌 all the other workers were also super friendly and approachable, thank you!

I just spent a wonderful two days at the Surrey Lakes Glamping holidays! It was a lovely relaxing stay with the best of both world's! Camping with wordly comforts like a proper bed and electricity in the Yurt. First of all i have to say that the Manager Isabel was amazing! We would have been lost without her! She helped and guided us in every way she could and went the extra mile to look after us! We were two families so had booked a Yurt and a Tent. The Yurt had electricity but the tent did not. Rechargeable lights were provided for the Tent and also to use the loo at night. I do think electricity in the tent would be helpful as well. Also the place should have a bit more lighting at night so it is easier to navigate! It maybe nice to have a loo attached to the yurt as well. The outdoor kitchen area is open and well equipped though missing ovens. Over all it was a great experience and i would love to come back! A big thank you to Isabel , Olly and Charlie!

Our family of 5 had a fantastic couple of days in a yurt at Surrey Lakes glamping. Beforehand the communication from Frank was brilliant. It was easy to book. There was a lot of information via email and we were able to call and message and Frank responded straight away. The site is well signposted and easy to find. It was an absolutely beautiful location. The site has all the facilities you need. We went to the nearby sainsburys and cooked each night. The showers were really warm and spacious. The toilets were also very clean and worked well. The yurt itself was so beautiful and was surprisingly spacious with everything we needed. We were all very comfortable. The log burner was a lovely feature. It was really cosy. We all enjoyed our stay. I would totally recommend Surrey Lakes Glamping. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Frank and Val! :)

It's been absolutely great the entire experience! I haven't stopped recommending this place to all my friends, colleagues and whoever I meet while walking my dog Max. The views are stunning, the place is beautiful, very clean, really relaxing... We've been helped whenever we needed it and well looked after by the housekeeper Isabelle from the moment we arrived... I highly recommend this place and I'm sure we'll be back!

We stayed here for two nights on a girls group trip. The view from the campsite was beautiful. We immediately felt relaxed and surrounded by nature. The tent and campsite were very well equipped with most things you can think of - plates, cutlery, firewood...even electric stove. The shower was hot and strong, essentially providing all the modern day comfort you need yet still giving you a sense of being outdoors. I'd recommend it for those wanting a tranquil break.

Totally wonderful: calm, peaceful, delightful, what more can I say? It was my mum's 80th and it was perfect. Elizabeth, the lovely host, even bought a bottle of local organic prosecco for her!

I recently spent a weekend here with 2 friends (Nat and Gill), well I say a weekend; I only stayed for 1 night (we booked 2) as it was ridiculously cold and a little damp in our bell tent so I think some form of heating might be ideal for the chillier months. That said, Isabel, the lady who manages the site was amazing at making sure the 2 remaining girls were warmer the 2nd night. I think all 3 of us would agree that Isabel works bloody hard and is a true credit to this glamping site; ensuring all the facilities are kept clean, well stocked and up and running and basically being on call 24/7 if you have any issues. Unfortunately we did try making contact with management regarding some queries with our booking but didn't receive any response, so extremely grateful that Isabel was there to greet us and settle us in. Many thanks Isabel, keep up the good work x

Lovely yurts with comfy beds however other facilities lacking slightly. No plates/cutlery/ general crockery per tent. Toilet facilities needing improvements

We loved everything about our stay. The yurt was amazing, loved the fire inside. We had bbqs and toasted marshmallows over a camp fire. Heard the owl at night and loved watching the horses in the field opposite.

Amazing family space and they are dog friendly too. Back to nature with lovely shower and facilities. The guys that run the site are friendly and helpful. It was our 6 year old's first time camping and he loved it. The site is also only a very short walk from the wonder national Trust site winkworth arboretum. I very highly recommend this site.

This is a beautiful and tranquil spot to escape to. There are woods with lakes in to explore, and horses grazing in the fields next door. The site had everything you need and Frank was a great host.

We had such a great time at Surrey Lakes Glamping. The site is beautiful, each tent is spacious with comfy beds and the facilities are great (plenty of toilets, warm showers and a big, well-equipped kitchen). We can't wait to come back again!!

Had a fantastic long weekend at short notice. The Yurt was lovely and the facilities excellent - especially the kitchen area and the bathroom block. We enjoyed some amazing long walks in the nearby hills and beautiful villages and then returned for a bbq and glass of wine next to our fire pit.

Great venue with everything you could need is provided to make the stay enjoyable. Myself and 3 kids just arrived in the car with some food and that was all we needed. Then in the morning had fresh coffee and nice hot shower. Perfect

We stayed at Surrey Lakes Glamping mid September as a girly weekend catchup. We were allocated a bell tent which was amazing! Big, spacious and very homely.. The camp site had 3 Bell tents and 2 yurts, all of which had their own little garden area with bbq, sun loungers, picnic bench and fire pit. The bell tent was perfectly set up with 3 beds (1 double and 2 single), a sofa and enough storage if needed. There was fairy lights and candles making the place look really welcoming. I will say though, that all the beds were really really soft and a slightly harder one would have been appreciated. On arrival, Isabelle met us directly. She showed the 3 of us around the communal ares which comprised of everything you would need in a kitchen including a microwave and a hob. Crockery and glassware. There was also a big table you could choose to eat at and a shelf in the large fridge and freezer for each tent/yurt. A Home from Home in the wilderness. Isabelle was amazing throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble at all which was great- especially as we had been trying to contact the owners before we arrived via many forms of communicating to no avail. She was certainly a godsend as the weather had turned on our first night making the night absolutely freezing. However Isabelle provided us with extra blankets and winter covers and we became extra toasty. Without isabelle and her amazing way of going above and beyond, our stay would not have been the success it was. There was an abundance of wood for the fires and coal and firelighters available for the bbqs. Another thing that was very much appreciated was the toilet block! (I never thought I'd say that 🤣) flushable loos with hot running water, soaps, loo rolls, lights and hand towels. Perfect for a glampsite. But what tops flushable loos when your glamping??? ..One of the FOUR private showers which were HOT and steamy with space to move around and dry after. I thoroughly recommend a stay at Surrey Lakes Glamping. And I would say to the owners - they've found a gem in Isabelle and should do what they can to keep her running the site. She made our stay.

Wow what a fantastic few days break, we went with our teenage children and had two yurts. site was clean and tidy. Everything you needed was on site and more ! All you need to take is food and change of clothes - they provided everything else. Comfortable beds and beautiful linen. Could only describe this as an outdoor hotel room. Local to shops and lots of things to do locally. Great for families and romantic breaks away.
