We
stayed
at
Surrey
Lakes
Glamping
mid
September
as
a
girly
weekend
catchup.
We
were
allocated
a
bell
tent
which
was
amazing!
Big,
spacious
and
very
homely..
The
camp
site
had
3
Bell
tents
and
2
yurts,
all
of
which
had
their
own
little
garden
area
with
bbq,
sun
loungers,
picnic
bench
and
fire
pit.
The
bell
tent
was
perfectly
set
up
with
3
beds
(1
double
and
2
single),
a
sofa
and
enough
storage
if
needed.
There
was
fairy
lights
and
candles
making
the
place
look
really
welcoming.
I
will
say
though,
that
all
the
beds
were
really
really
soft
and
a
slightly
harder
one
would
have
been
appreciated.
On
arrival,
Isabelle
met
us
directly.
She
showed
the
3
of
us
around
the
communal
ares
which
comprised
of
everything
you
would
need
in
a
kitchen
including
a
microwave
and
a
hob.
Crockery
and
glassware.
There
was
also
a
big
table
you
could
choose
to
eat
at
and
a
shelf
in
the
large
fridge
and
freezer
for
each
tent/yurt.
A
Home
from
Home
in
the
wilderness.
Isabelle
was
amazing
throughout
our
stay.
Nothing
was
too
much
trouble
at
all
which
was
great-
especially
as
we
had
been
trying
to
contact
the
owners
before
we
arrived
via
many
forms
of
communicating
to
no
avail.
She
was
certainly
a
godsend
as
the
weather
had
turned
on
our
first
night
making
the
night
absolutely
freezing.
However
Isabelle
provided
us
with
extra
blankets
and
winter
covers
and
we
became
extra
toasty.
Without
isabelle
and
her
amazing
way
of
going
above
and
beyond,
our
stay
would
not
have
been
the
success
it
was.
There
was
an
abundance
of
wood
for
the
fires
and
coal
and
firelighters
available
for
the
bbqs.
Another
thing
that
was
very
much
appreciated
was
the
toilet
block!
(I
never
thought
I'd
say
that
🤣)
flushable
loos
with
hot
running
water,
soaps,
loo
rolls,
lights
and
hand
towels.
Perfect
for
a
glampsite.
But
what
tops
flushable
loos
when
your
glamping???
..One
of
the
FOUR
private
showers
which
were
HOT
and
steamy
with
space
to
move
around
and
dry
after.
I
thoroughly
recommend
a
stay
at
Surrey
Lakes
Glamping.
And
I
would
say
to
the
owners
-
they've
found
a
gem
in
Isabelle
and
should
do
what
they
can
to
keep
her
running
the
site.
She
made
our
stay.
