Lovely evening meal on Thursday- attentive staff and very enjoyable food. It’s an African restaurant so expect to see some different dishes on the menu. We ordered chicken skewers, calamari, Zimbabwean chicken and peanut curry and ostrich steak. All excellent. The mixologist produced some cocktails worth trying too.

It's been so long since I have given an all 5 star review but this place fully deserves it. We came here on my wife's recommendation. We both had calamari starters which were both crunchy on the outside but soft and succulent on the inside. Just how we like it. I ordered the non alcoholic "light n Breezy" cocktail which was delicious. It had a sharp sour kick with an earthy after taste. Reminds me of long Island iced tea. We both had the Ostrich steak which came with fried tenderstem brocoli. The texture was like seaweed. It was sooooo good. The steak was amazing (although I felt 6oz was a bit on the small side) and comes in a glazed sauce. To cap it off I had a non-espresso Martini which has zero alcohol. The drink was light and sweet to start with but got more intense towards the bottom. Overall, the service was fantastic and the music and ambiance were great as well. This was our first time coming here but 100% I will be coming back again! Great job!

Great South African food that brought back childhood memories. Everything was cooked perfectly and the whole family enjoyed it. Staff were polite and friendly. Decor was tastefully done with Africa not "in your face" so to speak. Will definitely go back.

Absolutely loved our meal here, was a spur of the moment decision on a freezing evening and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious, highly recommend the Broccoli with Chilli, absolutely delicious. The lady serving us was so friendly and had no issue answering all my questions as I just wasn't familiar with the dishes. Highly recommend.

Tasty food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff which made great recommendations about what to try from the menu! 100% recommended! :-) Many non-spicy options to try if you are not into hot food and also veggie options. Go for the brandy toffee pudding..Amazing!!

Stopped in here for lunch today. It was amazing! We had the lunch menu and the food was beautiful, fantastic price, great service, and the restaurant is beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to eat. The food is amazing. Great choice, especially is you're Gluten Free! Most of the menu is gluten free. It's all so flavoursome and we'll made. Also, the cocktails are lovely. The service was top notch. Very tentative but not fussing around you. There when you need them. Overall a cracking place to have dinner with a nice atmosphere.

I would have to say I liked it but also a tiny bit disappointed. The service and the ambience was great only things that got me was the food. It was a bit bland for my pallet. The cocktail though was incredibly perfect and just a glowing aura of the right ingredient. Hope to be back again for other items on the menu.

A different taste of cuisine served by efficient and friendly staff who also kindly tried to make the experience as pleasant as possible for our daughter. I had the Moroccan tagine and the spouse had a Zimbabwean curry. The drinks are so refreshing, even my non-alcoholic choice for the evening was so tasty. A slightly faulty toilet was the only flaw amongst a place with pleasant decor and great scents, well worth a visit.

What a great restaurant to find on our recent trip to Bournemouth. My wife and I spent a lovely anniversary evening there just after Christmas. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, shout out to Phoebe. Food is amazing and we were even treated to a couple of complimentary glasses of fizz for our anniversary. We will be back, hopefully very soon.

It was one of the few places still serving food at nearly 10pm and taking us without reservation! The restaurant is very well designed, with decorations that reminds the cuisine of this place. The menu is very interesting because it's some sort of fusion between African food and some classics, like burgers or Currys, etc. I tried a fish soup which was delicious! My friends tried the sausages, very tasty too! I would really recommend to try this place :)

Was hoping for a more African/South African vibe. Strange music for the restaurant. Food overpriced for portion sizes. Service was very good though.

What a place for amazing food great bunny chow! Lekker ostrich steak atmosphere is second to none, staff spot on, as have certain allergies fear not staff are knowledgeable. will be definitely back to this gem in Bournemouth. Nice touch over the festive period boerewors in blanket yummy 😋
