This was previously known as Mac McGee Irish Pub. We spent a while looking for that as it was recommended by one of the bartenders downtown. We may have gone there at an off time. But it was not at all crowded and very nice to relax and get a drink. The guy who helped us was Irish himself which we liked. It's known for its bourbon and scotch collection and did not disappoint. I don't drink either so I stuck to my Moscow mule which was pretty decent. The Decatur square is a nice place to hang out but does have homeless people as it gets late at night. The train station is right there.

Fantastic pub! We just found out last night it took over the space previously occupied by Mac McGee's. We stopped in for a beer after having had a New Year's Eve dinner downtown. Very friendly place, cool Irish Pub vibe. COLD Smithwicks! Perfect pour Guinness! Bartender was great. At 7 pm they celebrated Irish New Years and handed out champagne. We're definitely going back for a meal and to hang out longer.

Really lovely little pub. We went and sat at a table by the window and worked our way through the appetizer menu. Food was great! Staff was attentive without rushing us. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Scotch egg pictured below - very tasty and served with pub mustard. More filling than you expect it to be.

Bartender (Jack) was friendly and attentive. He obliged our group by taking our group pic. The food was delicious! We ordered Reubens with Brussels sprouts (subbed for fries) and cauliflower. So good. The drinks were AMAZING!

There are no words to describe how great this place is - and I work with words for a living. We've been coming here for a while, appreciating the vibes, excellent food, hospitality, staff, Guinness pours, sports on TV, and more. Each time, we grew to love it more ... so much so that we made it part of our wedding celebration. This past weekend, Josh and I were married just across the square - and the thing people keep talking about perhaps more than anything is O'SULLIVANS! This place took care of us and our crew all week and weekend. Declan is probably the world's best bartender and manager - he assured me days before our wedding that I had enough to worry about, and to take O'Sullivan's off that list. He was so right. O'Sullivan's made my guests feel right at home. We had a rockin' little after party here post-wedding. And the next day, we spent mannnyyyy hours gathering as friends would come and go. They munched on delicious apps (don't miss the curry fries or the wings - oh and the pretzels!), watched all the football games, talked about drinks and life and travel with the staff, and had the best time. We may even forgive Declan for shaking up a bottle of champagne and giving us a surprise celebration outside. To Gareth, Amy, Rich, Caroline, Declan, and many other staffers: From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. You're stuck with all of us now - we'll be coming back forever, especially for anniversaries. SEE YOU SOON! <3, Janelle aka THE BRIDE.

Stopped by for drinks after dinner on the square after not visiting for a couple of years. Used to be Mac McGee's Pub and while the modifications are minimal, the service has improved significantly and they still offer a full service bar with accomplished professional and friendly staff. Worth a visit anytime, especially rocking on the weekends with televisions tuned to local and national sports and a lively crowd.

We stopped in while wondering the square and sat at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and friendly, the cocktails were yummy and we had a perfectly poured Guinness. Definitely a great place to stop in. Next time we want to try some of their happy hour or daily specials!

Food was amazing. The Pub was very clean and I felt transported to another place when I walked in. Scotch eggs, Reuben, and shepherds pie were on point. The food looked just as good in real life as the photos on the menu. The gentleman that served us is Irish which added to the ambiance. He was also very nice and engaging. Price wise, not that bad, spent $60. For the experience and excellent food, I would have spent more. This will definitely be a normal addition to my monthly routine. I'd give this place as a whole 10 stars, but 5 is as high as I'm allowed to post.

As far as Irish pubs goes, this one takes the win on the Decatur area. The drink selection is traditional, the food is above average for a bar. The place looks great for watch a sports game. Would come back.

We had initially planned to go to another bar but there was a waiting list; so we went here to wait. We ended up staying here the whole night. It was so cozy; drinks were good and was surprised that they had authentic Irish menu items. The bartender (or manager?) was also so friendly. What a pleasant surprise. I can see this as a go-to pub if I lived around the area. Definitely want to come back next time!

The new bartender made an awesome Hendrick's white línen craft cocktail for me by request! Love the egg rolls and wings.

Really authentic looking Irish Pub. Love the way it's decorated. Friendly service but we felt rushed. The food was awesome! We had the Shepherds Pie & Fish & Chips. Cocktails were just ok. Their website & Google says they close at 1am on Sundays but they had last call for food when we got there around 7:30 & closed around 8:30 or 9. They really need to fix those hours!

Friendly staff and great place to watch soccer. Food is decent, not as good as in the early days of Mac Magee's when Anton from Dublin was at the helm.

An overdue review from my visit to Decatur for work last month. Gareth has created a fantastic, authentic Irish bar experience in O'Sullivans. From the minute I arrived in Decatur at 10pm on a Saturday, to leaving the following Friday evening, O'Sullivans became like a home from home (I wasn't in there for quite the whole of this time). Declan and his team do a phenomenal job of making everyone feel welcome. The locals are friendly and the food is such a pleasant surprise in that it is so good; I can recommend the Shepherds Pie, Reuben, Scotch Egg and most of all, a very fine Ballina Burger. If you're lucky enough to visit Decatur, don't pass on O'Sullivans. I'm sure it will be a fantastic place to celebrate St Paddy's Day today. Should I return to Atlanta, O'Sullivans will be my first port of call and I'd love to buy you a Guinness if I see you there.

I went to a pub after asking if only drinks were allowed, and they confirmed that it was. Each of us ordered one bottle of beer, but the server kept giving us uncomfortable looks and made our experience unpleasant by coming to our table about four times without our request. Eventually, they took away our beer bottles and told us, who looked embarrassed, “no rush.” It was such an uncomfortable experience that we had no choice but to leave the pub.

First time trying the place, and it was awesome! Huge whiskey and scotch variety. Declan, the bartender, was 10/10!!! He gave us good recommendations on whiskeys and food. Best burger I've had a bar in a long time.

This was my first time at this location and it was such a great experience! Rich the bartender made suggestions on food for me and it was fantastic! The House Cut Fries were nothing less than amazing! Even though I only had “bar food,” Rich paired my burger and House Cut Fries with an Old Fashion that was absolutely amazing!

Great little irish style pub. Super friendly bartender and amazing atmosphere. Had a great cocktail here, would recommend it but it was the monthly drink so it'll probably be gone soon.
