Incredible day at the sanctuary! Words can’t describe how amazing this place is! My husband booked this tour for me today as a birthday present and I’m still smiling and amazed with every animal we encountered (as well as the amazing staff/volunteers) we had the opportunity to see, and the story behind how the animals got there. These animals are clearly so loved and well cared for, it’s beautiful to see! Their habitats are just as fantastic as they are…amazing!!! And our guide (Michelle I believe her name was) was absolutely outstanding and so informative and amazing and passionate! We’ve visited a lot of animal sanctuaries, as I’m a huge animal lover, and this one left me feeling so at peace, words can’t really describe it. Wear closed toed shoes, listen to the guides, bring some yummies (they list what they need) and enjoy and listen to every moment! I was in heaven today☺️ Love the lemurs, the deer (what a sweetheart, I’m in love), and Sully and the bunny Alice❤️ Got so many kisses, what an incredible group of animals, unforgettable! Thank you for an amazing, informative experience, one that I’ll never forget!!! Thank you for all that you do! I’ve already shared with friends and family!

Painting with Lemurs is an absolutely amazing experience! The animals are adorable and clearly happy and well cared for. There is no exploitation here, the animals are primarily rescues from private owners and were raised as pets. Chase now ensures they are properly cared for. The animals seems to l9ve interacting with visitors and getting treats and pets. Can't wait to go back for yoga!

I didn't actually go but my wife and her best friend did. They had a good time and want to go back with the family. They said the lemurs are so awesome. Probably will take the kids to volunteer at some point too.

My husband and I did the painting with lemurs and add on animal encounter - it was amazing! We had a blast meeting and interacting with all the animals (especially Opal!). The staff truly care about the health and well-being of each animal at the rescue. We can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing experience. 7 friends spent some time here painting with the primates on a Sunday....what great fellowship. WE are grateful for for you sharing this with the public. This is perfect for ANY animal lover, the staff is knowledgeable and fun. Seeing these rescued creatures flourish is wonderful. There is plenty to look at, so get there 20 minutes early. Worth every penny and then some!

Me and my bf went on a lemur tour and honestly this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with animal encounters, they really took their time with us and the animals and didn’t rush us at all. They let us take our time with each animal encounter and let us really experience them! All the enclosures are clean and a big for the animals ! What a wonderful place ❤️

We did lemur yoga and it was SUCH a great experience! Even if you’re not great at yoga, it’s okay and not a super intense class and beginner friendly- the instructor is super sweet. They prioritize your experience with the animals, which to us was great. Besides the lemurs, we got to be around a deer, capibaras, a tortoise and we met the Casper the bird. I would absolutely recommend this. After yoga we got to feed the animals a bit more, it was a blast!! My tip: Bring a towel for under your mat to help keep it clean since yoga is outdoors in the grass.

Went for the painting with primates event and it was definitely a unique experience! They provided the paint & canvas & brushes and showed an example painting to copy. We also got some fruits & veggies for the animals. The enclosure had a deer, maras, bunny, tortoise, & lemurs! They ran across the tables which was chaotic and potentially messy so be prepared for that. There’s no help with the painting part and hardly enough time to get it done. Note that if you pay for an event, you don’t get to walk around and see all the animals, just the ones in your event. Otherwise, staff were friendly and passionate.

What an experience! Such a beautiful place and so many incredible animals. We did the painting with primates for our 11 year anniversary. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They genuinely wanted you to have the best possible experience while you were there. You had the freedom to walk around while painting and visit the animals to feed them and touch them (if they wanted you to). Highly recommend and will be coming back to try the yoga!

The property is beautiful and out "in the country" which is awesome! We were greeting by a very kind lady who gave us the rundown on what we needed to do. We were there for the Saturday yoga with the lemurs. We were able to do a little exploring before yoga started - met Scooter (no thouchy, he's bitey but adorable). We headed into the lemur barn, we watched and introductory video, rolled out our kats, and out came the lemurs! We were each given a good handful of food and the lemurs just went hand to hand. We were able to touch the lemurs, pet them, hold thir crazy little hands, feed them, and just then crawl all over us. IT WAS AAAMMMMAAAZZZZIIINNNGGG! I am so proud to support this organization! They are doing absolutely amazing work and it definitely seems like the animals are very happy and very healthy! We will definitely be going back!

What a fantastic experience learning about the endangered and exotic animals that these wonderful humans have rescued from bad humans thinking these are pets. This is not a zoo, but a sanctuary, where the animals get to have the best life possible. Come paint, do yoga or take a private tour. Many of the animals are very friendly and love to be fed. Some even like to be scratched.

Went on a full private tour. Your lasted about 1.5-2 hours and you spend time with many different types of tropical animals. Variety of lemurs and turtles and tortoises. Anteater toucans small monkeys. Small gift shop but enough there to get a memory of your visit. You get to feed lemurs which is super cool!!! They will sit on your arm or shoulder just snacking on some fruit. The caretakers are almost all volunteer and partner with programs around the state and country to protect the various animals they have.

I highly recommend attending yoga with lemurs. Aside from the lovely stretching we played with a lively bunch of lemurs. As an addition treat you can add the sloth viewing experience. No touching but the bird and anteater were all over us. All the money spend goes to the sanctuary and animal conservation.

We did the private tour and let me tell you, such an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Betty, was amazing and very informative and we learned so much and cannot wait to come back to try their other events!

Such a well run, beautiful Sanctuary and rescue! Most workers are volunteers. They have a large array of interesting & "exotic" animals. Some are not "fixed" because of different reasons. Extra large enclosures for all animals there, made me happy and we had a blast with the lemurs! I didn't feel like I was at a horrible circus. I would like to see price stickers on their stuff in the gift shop to make life easier for all, including volunteers who have to scramble or guess the price. Dollar Tree fix! We can't wait to come back and feed the sloths.

We participated in the painting with primates experience, as well as the animal encounter. It was truly an experience that will stay with me for years. The animals are well cared for, respected, and loved. You can tell that each person that works and volunteers at the Sanctuary truly wants the very best for the creatures in their care, and work tirelessly to ensure the animals' care and comfort.

My wife and I did the private tour, and what an experience! My wife is a huge lemur fan and so this was basically going to heaven for her, but the creatures at this sanctuary quickly won over my heart as well. The animals here look extremely healthy and well cared for, and the staff are mindful of only allowing interactions with the animals that seem to genuinely enjoy it. This is a sanctuary, not a zoo - so their mission is to give rescued animals a second chance at a better home than they have ever had, and they are delivering on that. Our tour guide Judy was amazing, and the entire staff and volunteers truly cared about the animals and keeping this facility clean and well-maintained. The habitats are all top-notch and some of the most spacious and enriching we've seen anywhere. Neither of us have been this delighted by an experience in a long, long time, and we're still smiling about it. Fun fact: I forgot to take my blood pressure medicine that morning, but after returning home from our visit to Chase it was the lowest it's ever been. I only wish we lived closer! We got home, donated further to them, and told all our friends about it. This sanctuary deserves your support.

Wonderful time meeting the Lemurs, deer, tortoise any many more beautiful animals. The dedication of the volunteer staff is phenomenal as well as the two women who manage the rescue

The Volunteers were genuinely caring and excited to care for the animals. They also did not force or push the animals to interact but just allowed the animals to freely interact with people as the animals choose. The animals have beautiful enclosures for when they are not free to roam. As well as air conditioning enclosures for them to use. Well worth the drive and money. Must have experience.
