I've been in this shop a few times since I moved here a few years ago. Has everything you need! This morning I was extremely disappointed in the shop. Today there was a release for a limited edition pokemon deck with Santa Cruz. I called the shop last week to confirm if they will have it in stock and was told they would have 15. They said to come in person on release day and you will get one. I get there today and 2 other people were waiting with me. We talked about how this is a very cool release and were excited to pick one up. We get inside and the employee asked and assumed we were here for the decks and we said yes. Then he asked us about our reservations. We were shocked and question what reservation. The employee said that they were reserved and called for. We all told them we called the shop a few times this past couple of weeks to confirm if they were in and we were all told to come in and grab one release day. We were never told we could make a reservation for one. If we had, we would have done it. We all left the shop shortly after. They did take our names and numbers down to let us know if more would come in which was nice but regardless, we were all told the same thing on the phone. The employee said he was doing what he was told, but when was that? I understand he doesn't make the call but please have all employees be in sync with the game plan. Other shops that were doing the release were doing first come first come basis so i assumed that as well. I didnt bother with Online ordering cause i thought i could get one in person if i was there. That was what i was told.

Like this place a lot. I have been part of their gear swap events every beginning of winter and had swapped number of items - boots, poles, ski. Great idea to score some good condition gear or make somebody else happy with yours. The store has great variety of winter gear and tennis/skate stuff for the summer. I used their tennis racket stringing service and ski maintenance and am very happy with both. Friendly staff is always around to help you with your choices. Highly recommend the place.

Thanks to Alpine ski shop in Sterling VA, I will be able to use my new heated skiboots. Great job guys. And a pair of ski poles for a Bday 🎁 gift.

We got our boots and bindings at Alpine last year. Pat was incredibly helpful and friendly. And Dennis fitted us for our boots, he was great! Everyone in the shop is great, and I don't go anywhere else in nova for my skiing needs!

If there was a hole in the wall shop for ski, skates, and surf — then this place is it! There is a sign-up for snowboarding and ski lesson for the upcoming winter. Cannot go wrong finding what you need, and you will feel good with the purchase as you leave. Needed shop for a long board and the employee was quite knowledgeable and helpful.

The absolute best place to get all your ski and snowboard equipment. The staff has a wealth of knowledge, and actual experience with the gear that makes this a personalized and curated experience.
