Definitely one of the most enjoyable tours I've taken on a boat. The guided tour was very informative and fun. You can also order food and drinks, including a full bar. There is interior and deck seating, both equipped with great views of the surrounding mountains, cityscape, and docks. (Bring your coat during winter months of you're going topside, it was quite chilly on the open water). The staff was also extremely friendly and happy to be of service. I highly recommend trying to go on a clear day, which can be a bit of an ask in Seattle, but you will enjoy a great view of Mt. Rainier if you do! I couldn't recommend this tour enough. It's also part of the CityPass group of you feeling touristy and want to save some money.

excellent cruise, interesting and beautiful places the ship sails. the guide tells everything very well throughout the walk and well done for not getting tired 👍😎 two hours passed unnoticed. great view of the city. it's very interesting when the locks are closed, the water is released and the ship rises a few feet higher. many houseboats, expensive yachts and large cruise ships can be seen. There are drinks and food on the ship. better hurry up early so the good place is busy. better in front but the sun and wind can interfere. we sat back to the right and I liked it. if you leave the embankment side of the lake, it is better to take the right side. If you are going one way, then think in advance how to go further from there. Taxi is not immediately available. I am very satisfied and I advise everyone to ride. thanks to the captain and crew members and wish you success and always a fair wind 🤝

The weather was beautiful, so on a whim, I took an hour cruise. It was perfect. Getting tickets was easy and they were reasonably priced. The staff was friendly. The boat was nice and there are options to be inside or outside. I went with the top deck. The tour narrator was fun, informed, and upbeat. I would definitely recommend this cruise to everyone!

It was a beautiful, perfect weather day for a boat ride. We took the two-hour lock cruise which was really interesting. The crew also provided informative commentary of the sights, landmarks and area history. The lock tour is one-way, and we opted to walk back to our hotel in Bell Town (about a fifteen minute walk) instead of catching the bus for an extra $10 per person. The bus was waiting at the parking lot for anyone who wanted to catch it.

Highly recommend! The hour long tour of puget sound was very informative and fun. The narrator did an amazing job sharing the history and landmarks in the area. The ship we were on had 3 decks, with the top deck being outdoors allowing for 360 degree views. To top it off there was a decent selection of local food/alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available as well!

This is a wonderful way to see and learn about Seattle. Even better that it's from the water. It is not crowded on the cruise, plenty of room. They have a little bar and of course they have restrooms. Our host was fantastic, his name is Carey. Extremely knowledgeable of the entire area. About a 2 hour tour that includes going through the locks. I am not one to hand out fives lightly, but this little tour went about as perfect as it could, and well above my expectation.

It’s very informative tour! A guide explains Seattle almost for a half hour! I board an hour boat and I learned a lot. It was rainy day. when I was on the boat, luckily it stopped for an hour. I can see pretty much a lot. Space needle, some sculptures in the park, MS , smith building, big containers etc. I came with my baby and she also enjoyed the boat riding.

07/18/2022: This was an excellent experience! Thoroughly enjoyed the harbor cruise and the narration of the sights. The crew was very welcoming and hospitable. The ride was comfortable and allowed for some beautiful photos. Next time I'd like to try the 2 hour excursion with the bus ride back to Seattle. Bonus feature was the availability of a bar and snacks!

I got the city pass for 84$ in which I visited the Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens and Argosy Harbor Cruise. The Argosy Harbor Cruise gives a tour of the entire city and gives views of the Space Needle, Olympic Sculpture Park, several parks and one can get a 360° view of the city while on the cruise. The host was very good and was giving details in terms of the history and the significance of the famous places. It was about an hour in total from start to finish and the view of sunset was splendid.

Good informative cruise. Left on time. Tour takes an hour. Good view of the Seattle downtown and industrial area from the water. Good way to learn about the history of Seattle while taking in some beauty views.

Had a tremendous time on the Argosy port cruise! It lasted one hour. We did it as part of the City Pass and it was fantastic value for money, we thoroughly enjoyed the facts shared about Seattle and the witty tour guide. Great views of landmarks, I highly recommend. The only suggestion I would offer is to sit close to the tour guide as I struggled to hear everything over the wind.

(Harbor Tour) I can say without a doubt this was my favorite part of the entire weeklong vacation I had in Seattle. From the moment you arrive, the warmth and kindness from staff is evident. They're excited and ready to invite you on this incredible hour-long tour of the harbor. The boat we were on was seemingly clean and well kept. They offered alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in addition to a decent variety of snacks if you were interested. I spent the entire tour on the top deck getting the best views and it was absolutely worth it. The tour guide was also on that deck with us and he was simply awesome. He had been doing it for awhile, but he knew all the fun facts and details about the area and I felt like I was constantly learning something new as I went on this cruise. The views were also just unmatched. Being able to get away from the cars and city and see the area in a different way was absolutely worth it. I will say, if you want to get a good look at the distant mountains on this tour, try and book it on a rare sunny Seattle day for the best visibility.

We went on the Argosy Locks Cruise and had an amazing time! This is the perfect 2 hour cruise for anyone who wants to enjoy learning about various landmarks of Seattle. Our tour guide John was incredible and did a great job narrating all of the different spots we passed by. The highlight of the cruise is the Locks canal where you enter a narrow passage and make a stop and watch the sea level of the boat rise your boat up so you can pass between the salt water and fresh water. Very cool experience!

We were very happily surprised with the great quality of this boat tour. Even though it was a short trip around the harbor, it was a very fun and educational one. Our captain and guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. We got some great photos of the skyline. It was included in the Seattle City Pass, so we were happy we chose to do this tour over visiting another one of the options. I definitely recommend to any tourists visiting.

Ryan was an amazing guide! I have done this tour probably 10 times and I learned the most from Ryan. It was also a lucky, beautiful day. I always love the Locks cruise and Argosy in general. It truly is the best way to see the most of Seattle. The whole crew is so friendly, too!

Visited Seattle for the first time with my family. Purchased the City Pass because I knew we’d want to visit several attractions. Truth be told the harbor tour was low on my list of attractions I wanted visit. Main reason was that my husband and one of my daughters tends to get seasick. Well I am so glad we decided to check it out. The boat was not rocky at at (so no one got seasick) but also it was an amazing tour. The guide/narrator was great and we really enjoyed hearing about the city’s history and fun facts. I definitely recommend it if visiting Seattle! I give it five stars.

Such a fun experience with amazing views. Definitely a must when visiting Seattle. The cruise ship has multiple decks with indoor and outdoor viewing. The cruise staff is very friendly and the guide was very informative.

Really nice cruise with excellent narration explaining everything you see. Best to be done on a sunny day but cloudy with no rain was great too. I advise to get the five attractions Seattle City pass that includes the harbor cruise as it is way cheaper.

The cruise was worth the money, however, I did not get the VIP benefits as advertised. Yes, I could have spoken up at the time and that's on me. However, none of the attendants mentioned it once when we were in line to board. Fortunately we were in the first dozen to board and were able to get the seats we desired. After the cruise I did mention it to a staffer member and she was kind and eager to rectify it, but I took the blame as well since I didn't speak up either at the time. With all that being said, everyone was very pleasant, and the MC/tour guide was an eloquent speaker. Sean(Shawn) had an array of interesting stories and historical knowledge. The view was breathtaking. I would recommend sitting in the back facing the rear. I would recommend this tour and this company to anyone. The tour is one of several options on the C3 Seattle package I purchased on Groupon. The website is fairly easy to navigate and schedule your tour.

Had a beautiful cruise on the ship with an amazing tour guide. It was a gloomy day. It was so beautiful learned a lot about Seattle. Amazing views!!! We saw Orcas from afar. It’s very rare that they’re seen

Excellent cruise from South Lake Union to Elliott Bay. Our guide Lars shared so much interesting information about Seattle, and our captain (unfortunately can't remember his name) did a great job navigating the Locks! Plus, having drinks and snacks available on board was great. My husband has done this cruise 3 times in the last several months, and we'll be recommending this whenever anyone comes to visit us!

We took the tour back in August ‘23 and it was included in our City Pass so we gave it a chance and it did not disappoint. We booked the last sail of the day at 6 30 pm so we could enjoy the sunset 🌅 and let me tell you, it’s the best sunset i’ve seen. We also enjoyed watching the skyline and saw a few fishes jumping out of the water, which was so interesting for me Our tour guide was so friendly and was telling us with such joy about Seattle and its history. Definitely a great experience 😃

Had a great time with Lars as the tour guide. Everyone I encountered was super friendly and welcoming. Learned a lot and enjoyed the time on a boat (as someone who doesn't usually go on boats) in the Puget Sound looking at the city from a different angle.

My wife and I was in Seattle for a weekend getaway and we decided to take in a cruise. The experience was wonderful. We enjoyed ourselves to some Irish coffee and hot chocolate while taking in the amazing views from the boat. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of interesting information the city. The one hour tour was everything we hoped it to be. We highly recommend it.

I purchased the Seattle City Pass and chose the Argosy tour. We upgraded to the Locks Tour, and it was worth it. The Locks Tour is a little over 2 hours long, so be aware of that before you book. It was a bit cold and raining during our tour but still very enjoyable. The inside upstairs area of the boat had plenty of seating and windows to enjoy the views. It was also heated! Downstairs they have snacks, drinks and adult bevetages you can purchase. There also more tables and chairs plus restrooms and a wall of cute souviners. We grabbed cocktails and headed outside in the rain to enjoy the views. Our tour guide was really good and gave plenty of history and information on Seattle and the Ballard Locks plus some fun facts. The tour ends in Lake Union, which is perfect for exploring more of the area, if you choose to. We ended just taking a simple Uber back to our room.

Highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance from third party vendors. If visiting on a weekend highly recommended to purchase VIP pass for few extra dollars 💵 you can skip the long queue and get first preference to enter the cruise 🚢. You will also get 15% off any drinks purchased from the cruise. Go to the top of the cruise and sit in the back facing the front view of the cruise. The 1 hour cruise was amazing and the sunset view, all the prime seattle touristy spots were covered in this trip. Absolutely loved the cruise. The guide was informative and funny too 😂. The staffs in the drinks counter was friendly and helpful. Must visit and totally worth the money…

  • 5/5 Samantha W. 1 year ago on Google
Getting first to board gives you a first choice of seats on the deck, but you're allowed to walk around and take pictures /get drinks etc whenever you want to on this tour. Unless you really want to be first I'd say save the money and opt for general admission. Lines move fast and all the seats are good seats on this tour. The tour guide was wonderful and the views spectacular.

The one-hour harbor tour was great. We had an excellent guide who told a bit of the history - using his sense of humor often. The views were spectacular. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have a lovely warm sunny day in May for this tour. We essentially got a summertime cruise at a springtime rate.

  • 5/5 Siobhan K. 11 months ago on Google
Great experience! I did the 1 hour harbour cruise and it was really fun. The guide was very good at giving us some history of Seattle and the sites/attractions we saw. There is a bar on the boat where you can get food and drinks. You are free to walk around the boat during the cruise, so no need to panic and rush to get a seat. The guide even tells you when the photo opportunities are coming up so you can get that that side of the boat. The boat wasn’t too busy when I went, but I can imagine in busy periods it will get quite busy. I would recommend.

We had purchased the City Pass, which gets us into 5 different attractions for a set price. We decided to do the boat tour first. The weather was supposed to be a bit more overcast ☁️ and rainy, but it turned up being a really nice day. The tour itself is about an hr long through Puget Sound. You book your time frame and then arrive and wait to be boarded. I'd recommend getting there early so you can be on the boat first and get a better seat in the beginning. They serve some light food on board and drinks. The boat didn't rock too bad, but I can see on some windy days it being a bit more so. The tour guide who explained the sights as we were passing them was fantastic. I wish I had got his name. This was definitely a great way to see the city and learn a bunch about its history. This is a must on nicer days and highly recommend getting the pass as well.

  • 5/5 Anas A. 1 year ago on Google
This is my first time going on the cruise and it was very nice. The process to get in to the cruise was very smooth and easy. I came less than 30 minutes and was able to get in. The price was reasonable. The air breeze was nice and cool, Casey the speaker was great giving us historical information and informative stuff about the building and companies around the bank. I would recommend, it was one hour, short and sweet.

  • 5/5 Micah R. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic views and something for both my wife and I. I'm all about the photos while my wife loves the history. I was able to walk around, snap some pics, and enjoy the great views while my wife watched from the inside - loving what this trip had to offer. This was definitely a highlight of our stay in Seattle and wasn't one that we had on our list - highly recommend going here if you have an hour to spare.

  • 5/5 Drew L. 1 year ago on Google
This was a fun and informative tour. It lasted about an hour and did a big circle. We say the city skyline as well as great views of Mt. Rainier. They took us up close to some of the giant cargo ships that were loading and unloading in the port. The boat was spotless and the crew was friendly. There was a bar with drinks, snacks and sandwiches for purchase. It was a great way to see the city from the water.

  • 5/5 Gary J. 1 year ago on Google
A great way of spending an hour in Seattle. The cruise was great. Ross, our guide for the trip was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. The weather was fantastic so there was a lot I see. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. You get a clear perspective of the city from the bay. Definitely worth the money and trip.

Absolutely worth the ride! It's about an hr long but the information given along the way is very knowledgeable and interesting. Our tour guide was outstanding. Would highly recommend. (We used the Seattle City Pass to get tickets)

A great time on the water! Make reservations and enjoy the second to none views! The tour guide is informative and fun, they have a full bar to better enjoy your time in the sun and breeze. Definitely worth the time and the money during a day visit to Seattle!

  • 3/5 JaJa M. 1 year ago on Google
Not a great experience, even in perfectly sunny weather. Not enough chairs on the top deck for everyone to enjoy the sunshine. Our cruise seemed overbooked, oversold, and overcrowded. We could barely hear the tour guide over the large groups, so we spent the hour standing on a boat trying to enjoy the beautiful views of the skyline and Puget Sound. Strongly recommend avoiding on a weekend. Try a weekday or weeknight instead.

  • 5/5 Kayti S. 2 years ago on Google
This is a great experience! Our tour guide was so informative and friendly. Being from out of state, we were unsure of where to go to purchase tickets and how to board but the employees are kind and helpful. We got to see so many things that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to see in our short trip to Seattle including the Space Needle and the Naval Yard. We even got to see a Navy vessel in the dry dock. It was a little chilly up on the top deck, where it is open air. So being a light jacket. Such a great experience, and next time we are in Seattle, we will do the 2 hour tour.

  • 5/5 Heather S. 1 year ago on Google
Gorgeous day, excellent tour guide explained everything we were seeing and we even got to see both a cruise ship coming into Port and a cargo ship docking. Entire staff was outstanding. Highly recommend 10/10.

  • 5/5 The K Green S. 2 years ago on Google
Booked this as part of the city pass deal and aside from the space needle, it was the best thing on the list to do. The trip lasts an hour and we had to show vaccination cards to board. Cruise takes you around the bay and it was amazing. The views were fantastic and the tour guide kept us entertained with the history. I would recommend.

  • 5/5 K F. 2 years ago on Google
Our tour guide, Lars, is super knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Despite the weather, we were encouraged to get up out of our seats and walk around (inside and outside), which made the experience much more participatory. The bar was very accommodating and served good food and drink options. The Captain has a good personality too which makes for overall good teamwork.

  • 5/5 Tecle G. 2 years ago on Google
It was one of my favorite things I did in Seattle. The one hour cruise tour will help you learn a lot about Seattle. On top of the food kitchen and drinks, Seattle’s history will be narrated throughout the tour. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

  • 5/5 Ivar the K. 2 years ago on Google
This was a kick back boat ride, I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I was listening to music instead of the lady narrating the tour, I still had a great time. People on the boat were cool, and I helped out a family with taking their pics. I was here following the Metal Tour of the Year. Remember to tip your tour narrator!$
