Cannot
say
enough
good
things
about
this
B&B!
Warning:
lengthy
but
hopefully
helpful
review
incoming...
For
frame
of
reference,
my
husband
and
I
are
early30s
millennials,
CO
Springs
Natives
and
we
currently
only
live
about
10
min
away
from
Old
Colorado
City.
We
wanted
to
get
away
for
the
evening
for
our
first
wedding
anniversary
but
didn't
want
the
stress
of
planning
a
big
trip
or
having
to
drive
far...this
was
a
perfect
solution.
We
love
OCC
but
don't
get
down
to
explore
it
much,
so
being
SO
CLOSE
to
everything
was
amazing.
You
could
walk
everywhere
or
grab
a
Lime
scooter
if
you
want.
Great
location.
The
Inn
itself
is
safe
and
secure
(I
will
say
that's
important
at
night
in
this
area)
and
absolutely
adorable.
The
library
with
some
DVDs,
the
Butler
pantry,
the
pool
table
downstairs
all
available
for
your
use
24/7
was
so
nice.
We
stayed
in
the
African
room
because
we
were
so
excited
at
the
prospect
of
a
private
hot
tub
and
it
did
NOT
disappoint.
Spacious,
nice
complimentary
basics/necessities,
personal
touch
with
a
welcome
sign
with
our
names
on
it,
love
that
it
is
ADA
accessible
for
those
that
require
it,
the
comfy
water
bed,
the
robes,
the
fireplace
(though
we
did
not
use
it,
is
a
great
touch),
the
mini
fridge
for
leftovers,
and
of
course,
the
HOT
TUB.
All
so
wonderful.
Even
as
natives
we
were
VERY
impressed
with
the
view
from
the
room,
stunning!
We
didn't
care
because
we
were
out
and
about
keeping
busy,
but
if
you
care
about
these
things,
the
TV
situation
is
not
like
it
normally
is
at
modern
hotel
stays,
just
a
simple
small
flatscreen
with
basic
channels
and
a
DVD
player
(and
of
course,
as
was
common
15-20
years
ago,
a
complicated
process
to
switch
from
TV
to
DVD,
brought
back
memories
😅).
Breakfast
was
great,
freshly
homemade
(and
obviously
LIGHTYEARS
above
a
hotel's
continental
breakfast)
and
not
being
a
morning
person,
I
was
so
grateful
it
was
at
8:30
and
not
like
6am
or
something.
I've
been
a
pretty
loyal
AirB&B
guest
for
the
last
10
years
or
so....
but
I
think
we're
officially
converting
to
B&Bs
from
now
on.
We
love
the
charming
and
unique
feel
of
each
of
the
Air
B&Bs
(and
the
price
was
cheap)
compared
to
hotels,
but
it's
become
so
irritating.
Prices
up
near
or
more
than
the
price
of
a
hotel
and
I
swear
each
place's
"house
rules"
and
"check
out
list"
is
getting
ridiculous.
You
basically
pay
for
the
stay,
also
pay
a
cleaning
fee,
and
then
have
a
chore
list
before
you
leave...strip
sheets,
start
the
laundry/dishwasher,
sweep,
take
out
the
trash.
Not
big
things,
and
we
always
try
to
take
care
to
be
respecful
tidy
guests,
but
sometimes
you
want
to
just
go
on
a
relaxing
vacation
and
not
do
a
chore
list
when
you're
leaving.
B&Bs,
especially
like
this
one,
give
you
all
the
luxuries
of
a
hotel
and
more,
with
a
charming
unique
homey
feel
on
top
of
it.
The
African
room
was
a
little
pricier
than
we
personally
normally
go
for
but
absolutely
well
worth
it;
for
the
flexibility,
freedom,
location,
hospitality,
and
all
the
complimentary
amenities
that
aren't
even
mentioned
(I
don't
think).
Even
small
things
like
being
able
to
play
pool
late
without
"quiet
hours"
because
the
basement
is
pretty
much
sound
proof
is
so
cool
and
caters
to
a
variety
of
guests.
We
only
interacted
with
one
of
the
innkeepers,
Kim
I
believe
(?),
but
it
was
so
obvious
from
our
limited
interaction
how
much
they
care
about
this
place
and
their
guests.
Book
it.
Now.
