Wonderful stay in Old Colorado City. Super comfy bed with fireplace in the room. Thoughtfully designed and everything we needed right there. Lovely view from the deck. The private hot tub was terrific. Best of all, each room is completely private and quiet. We didn't even have a shared wall with another room! Terrific breakfast. Thank you Kim and Dave!

As far as B&B's go, this is the best one I have ever stayed at. This place is meticulously kept and expertly decorated. The rooms are well themed, clean, and absolutely cozy. The beds are extremely comfortable...and yes, they are waterbeds!!!! Not your 1980s water bed, this one has baffles but contours to your body for an absolutely amazing sleep. All rooms have balconies and the ones on the 3rd floor have private hot tubs. The only teeny complaint I had was that the t.v. was quite small, and I actually needed my glasses to watch; however, it did not negatively impact my stay at all as it's such a minor detail. There's an awesome butler's pantry on the second floor that offers coffee, hot chocolate, sodas and even toiletries and a first aid kit. You will want for nothing when you stay here. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious, and different every day. Well balanced with coffee, juice, fruit, veggies, protein, etc. Great variety and so yummy! The innkeepers are delightful and accommodating. They are extremely friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the area, and they offered great recommendations for dining and entertainment. Given the COVID situation, they are taking appropriate precautions to keep all guests safe. You can't beat the location, it's literally walking distance to every restaurant/shop you can think of and is just a hop skip and a jump to both Pike's Peak and The Garden of the Gods. I honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else the next time I come to the area. We are already trying to figure out when we can visit next.

Such an adorable place to stay! The owners are so welcoming, room was clean, breakfast was amazing. I don't think I'd ever stay in a hotel again. This was too perfect.

Cannot say enough good things about this B&B! Warning: lengthy but hopefully helpful review incoming... For frame of reference, my husband and I are early30s millennials, CO Springs Natives and we currently only live about 10 min away from Old Colorado City. We wanted to get away for the evening for our first wedding anniversary but didn't want the stress of planning a big trip or having to drive far...this was a perfect solution. We love OCC but don't get down to explore it much, so being SO CLOSE to everything was amazing. You could walk everywhere or grab a Lime scooter if you want. Great location. The Inn itself is safe and secure (I will say that's important at night in this area) and absolutely adorable. The library with some DVDs, the Butler pantry, the pool table downstairs all available for your use 24/7 was so nice. We stayed in the African room because we were so excited at the prospect of a private hot tub and it did NOT disappoint. Spacious, nice complimentary basics/necessities, personal touch with a welcome sign with our names on it, love that it is ADA accessible for those that require it, the comfy water bed, the robes, the fireplace (though we did not use it, is a great touch), the mini fridge for leftovers, and of course, the HOT TUB. All so wonderful. Even as natives we were VERY impressed with the view from the room, stunning! We didn't care because we were out and about keeping busy, but if you care about these things, the TV situation is not like it normally is at modern hotel stays, just a simple small flatscreen with basic channels and a DVD player (and of course, as was common 15-20 years ago, a complicated process to switch from TV to DVD, brought back memories 😅). Breakfast was great, freshly homemade (and obviously LIGHTYEARS above a hotel's continental breakfast) and not being a morning person, I was so grateful it was at 8:30 and not like 6am or something. I've been a pretty loyal AirB&B guest for the last 10 years or so.... but I think we're officially converting to B&Bs from now on. We love the charming and unique feel of each of the Air B&Bs (and the price was cheap) compared to hotels, but it's become so irritating. Prices up near or more than the price of a hotel and I swear each place's "house rules" and "check out list" is getting ridiculous. You basically pay for the stay, also pay a cleaning fee, and then have a chore list before you leave...strip sheets, start the laundry/dishwasher, sweep, take out the trash. Not big things, and we always try to take care to be respecful tidy guests, but sometimes you want to just go on a relaxing vacation and not do a chore list when you're leaving. B&Bs, especially like this one, give you all the luxuries of a hotel and more, with a charming unique homey feel on top of it. The African room was a little pricier than we personally normally go for but absolutely well worth it; for the flexibility, freedom, location, hospitality, and all the complimentary amenities that aren't even mentioned (I don't think). Even small things like being able to play pool late without "quiet hours" because the basement is pretty much sound proof is so cool and caters to a variety of guests. We only interacted with one of the innkeepers, Kim I believe (?), but it was so obvious from our limited interaction how much they care about this place and their guests. Book it. Now.

This has an amazing location! The building is not even a half a block from the Old Colorado City Main Street and it’s an easy walk to everything you might want during your stay from restaurants to bars. The B&B is absolutely lovely. The inside is a nod to all sorts of history, with amazing art and antiques on display everywhere. The owners are lovely and have really thought of just about everything you might need to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. We will absolutely be returning and look forward to our next visit!

Kim and Dave are outstanding hosts! The rooms are very well appointed. We rented the Victorian Suite on the third floor and the private hot tub was a fantastic amenity. The building itself is beautiful. There is a lovely "help yourself" media library (books and movies) on the first floor and the complimentary "butler pantry" is stocked with coffee, sparkling water, and other essentials that we may have forgotten. Point is, where many places will try to nickle and dime their way along, Kim and Dave have clearly made a point to make the experience of their guests priority number one. Every included ementity, from hand lotion (this is Colorado, after all) to bathrobes and everything else, was top quality. So, I may have rambled a bit, but for you TL/DR folks, this place is great. Give them your money and have a great time! We'll definitely be back 😀

Booked a room for a 1 night getaway, and the room we were booked in, had some technical difficulties. They called and refunded the full amount because the room wasn't perfect. Awesome customer service

We met Kim and she was amazing! Very kind and helpful and we even received a custom note from Dave, Kim, and the rest of the staff for our anniversary! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

A great home away from home full of hospitality, and in an outstanding location. We had a great experience. There was great communication, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cozy, and the whole place was nice to stay in. We enjoyed learning history in the library, the view from the balcony, and had fun with the pinball machine to name a few more highlights. We'd definitely visit again! Thank you!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. The hospitality was by far the best I have ever received. When you stay at Old Town Guesthouse you will feel like you've been invited into someone's home. The dining room is small and as you enjoy the homemade breakfast it will feel natural to turn and chat with your fellow guests as though it's all one big family reunion. The rooms were very lovely as well. We stayed in the Old Town Cactus and I was so surprised with the number of tiny details included to accommodate guests. For example they offered some small cleaning supplies in the closet in the case of unexpected spills. Couldn't recommend it enough! Luxury hotels and chains are an experience you can have anywhere and anytime but if you are ever in Colorado Springs you should visit the Old Town Guesthouse to experience something truly charming and special.

Our boss and his wife gave us a two night stay at this beautiful B&B as a thank you for tending their business while they were on a European vacation. It was a first for both of us. The staff was the best, very helpful, warm and friendly as well as attentive. The owner was there when we checked in and she did the same. Our room was very inviting, the breakfasts, we had two, were very good. We recommend it highly. Thank you all! Jack and Chris

Monica and Tom are fantastic hosts! This was our second time staying at Old Town Guesthouse and we had a wonderful time. The new owners are investing in the property and have already made some nice upgrades! The location can’t be beat but we really give 5-stars because the service is top notch.

My husband and I went to Colorado Springs for an overnight to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Columbine Guest Room at the Old Town Guesthouse B&B. The innkeeper was pleasant and helpful. Their staff was incredibly friendly and nice. Our room was very quaint and lovely. The bed was comfy. We had a cute little balcony with some chairs. The location was perfect - right off the main street and walkable to many fun shops and restaurants. I took off one star because of the breakfast. We were rather disappointed in the breakfast. One of the reasons we chose this B&B over a different one was because the breakfast sounded yummy from the website and reviews. This was the oddest breakfast we've ever had! It included: a cup of fresh fruit, two spoonfuls of POTATO SALAD, some scrambled eggs, 3 quarter-sized slices of store-bought turkey kielbasa, one grape tomato, and a quarter of an avocado. While we weren't expecting a super fancy breakfast, at least some nice breakfast sausage and a selection of breads would have seemed like a minimum. For $300 a night, the breakfast was a big letdown. Thankfully there was an amazing farmer's market that morning, and we supplemented our breakfast from there (which was frustrating to have to spend MORE money on breakfast because the one we were served was unsatisfactory). Other than that odd breakfast, our stay was lovely. However, I don't think we would stay here again if we were to come back.

My husband & I and our daughter & her husband had an exceptional stay here last week. We were warmly welcomed at the door by Monica, who gave a us a detailed tour of the sitting room, dining room & guest rooms. Everything was beautiful, organized & peacefully quiet. Our rooms each had a fireplace, balcony & steam shower. After our event that night, the 4 of us enjoyed soft music & conversation in the sitting room. The beds were comfortable & we slept well. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! We had a hearty frittata, fruit & greek yogurt cup, crispy potatoes, and excellent coffee. We hope to return soon for a mini vacation. There were many restaurants, bars & other things to do within easy walking distance. Monica, Tom & Brandon were outstanding hosts!

We booked several rooms at Old Town Guesthouse for the bridal party of a wedding. Kim and Dave made the whole experience truly unforgettable. They graciously allowed us to rearrange the furniture in the communal areas for pre-wedding pictures. Kim even took some beautiful candid shots and sent them our way!! We had several last-minute changes to who was staying in what room on a given night and Dave and Kim handled our chaos with grace and impeccable hospitality, making things MUCH LESS stressful. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is high restaurant quality (I wish I could go back for more of their creamy breakfast potatoes), and the hot tubs truly are a godsend especially after dancing all night! I almost had to force my elderly grandmother out of the ADA room that was outfitted with a heater in the bathroom, a large shower, and beautiful decor. She really did ask me to book her extra nights and leave her there lol. We felt like an overly pampered part of the family for the entire duration of our stay. I cannot more highly recommend staying here, which says a lot coming from a critic with high standards. ;) I will definitely be visiting Colorado Springs again, although not for the city or the mountains, but rather for Dave, Kim, and the Old Town B&B!

This B & B is a great place to stay when you visit the South Denver Area. The B & B is very charming, the rooms are well appointed and the owners are very friendly people! The breakfasts are wonderful as well and they were very accommodating for my perticular food allergies. They also have a great game room to accommodate down time. The location is also perfect for a vacation. There are so many things to do in the area and there are so many wonderful eateries and shops in Old Colorado City all within walking distance !

My wife and I loved our stay in the African Orchid room for our anniversary. Room and bathroom was super spacious and we loved the private deck with hot tub! Loved the view of mountains as well! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast and ample time in the morning for a relaxed enjoyable morning before checkout.

We had a wonderful stay here. Dave and Kim were very thoughtful and accommodating hosts. We passed on breakfast our first morning because we had plans that day...after enjoying the breakfast the morning of our departure, I wish we had altered our plans on Day 1! The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed talking with the other guests. I highly recommend a stay here.
