We got a good deal on Groupon for this Trolley tour and it was very informative. However, the trolley really needed a better air conditioner. Beware: the tour guide's humor is a little dark.

We booked this tour not knowing what to really expect but it was awesome! Rob was very nice, funny and extremely knowledgeable on the history of the city and you could really tell he did his research to have his facts straight. It was very well worth it and we enjoyed it!

Great tour! Extra fun though as we had Rob as our tour guide! Great guy! Rob is very well versed on Wyoming’s capital city and shares the fact checked material in a fashion that can be retained! Highly recommend Rob’s entertaining tour!

Our military reunion group used the trolleys for three days of tours. All of the drivers were so knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and FUN! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely use them again. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Horrible. Deserves 0 stars. My family is on a bucket list 16 day road trip tour of Wisconsin Dells, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Cody, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons... Cheyenne was to be our last stop. Being a bit of a history buff, it was one I was looking very forward to. This whole trip has been amazing. Only had a half-day to spend in Cheyenne so I booked a 90 min Trolley Tour, 4.5 months ago. Figured that would give us some history and an overview of the city. Arrived at the depot at 10:35am for our 11:00am tour. Asked where pick up was, where we could park our RV, and if they could store our daughter's wheelchair. All good. Parked. Got the family. Dropped them at trolley stop, and returned to depot to drop the wheelchair. AT THIS POINT the guy at the counter asked when our tour was. After I said 11, he informed me that tour was canceled, and the next one at 1 was full, but he could probably get us on at 3:00!!!! No one bothered to tell me before we drove 450 miles and delayed our trip home and paid for a campground in Cheyenne, all so we could take this trolley tour!!!! We were unable to stay as we had another destination bought & paid for. They did refund my tickets, but cost us a great deal more than the $48 we paid them. Not to mention all the irritation and disappointment. The guy informed me that this happens often with folks who book tickets in advance. I asked him why they sell in advance if that's the case. No response. Very poorly run organization. Very disappointed.

We were walking around the train station on Memorial Day about 2:10 and saw they had a trolley tour. We asked the front desk about tickets and she informed us the tour had already started, but we could still join. When we got to the trolley the guide told everyone how “rude” we were for “interrupting” him. It would’ve been fine if he was kidding but he was very serious. He brought it up more than once. He also continuously coughed up phlegm and constantly cleared his throat like he was sick. The guide made it a very uncomfortable experience.

I highly recommend anyone to go on this tour. My tour guide Rob was very knowledgeable and had obviously done all his research. He knew exact details and even told a few jokes. This was a great experience. A must do if you are from out of town. Great experience!!!!

Cheyenne is only a stop off place enroute from Denver to Rapid City or Keystone if you don't want to do a long journey. Great shop to buy cowboy boots and belts along from the railway museum.

My wife suggested we do this, and I am glad we did, as we passed through Cheyenne. What an enjoyable tour. A 90 minute ride that meandered around the town, highlighting notable people, places and events. The trolley driver, Laureen, did a wonderful job providing colorful detail of all the stops on the tour.

This is the worst trolly tour I've ever taken. I love history and our guide spent more time talking about himself than Cheyenne. I knew within the first 20 minutes it was going to be a disaster. I didn't need to know about his thoughts on guns, what he did for a living or his life aversion traveling to Canada.

Excellent tour for a traveller. Our guide Rob was very informative, polite and all around gentlemen. Highly recommend taking a tour.

We were planning on this visit, but the lady at the desk was rude in the way that she said that a 5 year old wasn't supposed to be at a point in the museum before payment, so we didn't continue.

I love a quick history tour. It was about 1.5 hours which was great for us and the older kids. My youngest, 6, enjoyed getting to ride the bus, catch Pokémon and catch a little nap at the end. If you have littles I would definitely recommend something to keep the occupied. Our tour only had 1 other family and couple on it so it was nice to be able to spread out in the trolly. The driver was informative but kept having troubles with the microphone which could be a problem with someone hard of hearing.

10/10 would NOT recommend. We booked tickets for the holiday lights tour to go on with our children. The driver (Rob according to his name tag) did not even check tickets and people were just getting on. Which meant it was over crowded and tight. We then left 10 minutes late because he was standing out on the sidewalk smoking. There were also drunk people on board, who should have, in my opinion, been removed before the ride even began. They were extremely loud and inappropriate, continually making inappropriate jokes and comments. We saw a few nice light displays but most of the ride was just down random streets with no lights. Waste of time and money. Very disappointing.

Had a wonderful tour with Rob, my grandson had a blast as well. Didn't know there was so much to learn in Cheyenne but will be looking into museums and such now. Thanks for a great ride.
