I was referred to Andrea Daniels through a friend. I needed to find a board and care home for my mother who suffers with dementia. I am so grateful to have met Andrea. She was incredibly knowledgable about various forms of financial aid available as well as helping me to place my Mom. I love the home we settled on, and feel relief that she is safe and well taken care of. Andrea has also been helpful with additional questions I've had along the way regarding my mother's physical and financial well being. I can't say enough great things about how professional and helpful Andrea has been through this daunting process!!

Heart Light is an outstanding organization and I strongly encourage anyone looking for senior housing to contact them immediately. Jewish Family Services recommended them to me when it came time to move our 91 year old mom out of her apartment. I called and was quickly connected to Stacy Brooks, who has proved to be an indispensable, truly inspired partner in placing mom initially in Independent housing, and again more recently as she's moved into an Assisted Living residence. Stacy listens and communicates brilliantly. She's thorough, accessible and passionate about her work. My mom is a bit of a rule breaker and there have been some challenges in finding her housing that would be a good match. Stacy's approach was incredibly creative, sensitive and knowledgeable; she knows what's she's doing and guided us through the process with a kind and attentive hand. I could ALWAYS reach her and her wisdom and expertise guided us gracefully through two moves. In my dealings with Heart Light I have seen that everyone there is equally effective. It's a very special place. Call them if you're looking for Senior housing; they'll take absolutely fantastic care of you!

Words cannot express how thankful I am to Stacy at Heart Light. I only wish I'd known about Heart Light 5 years ago when we first put our Mother in to an Assisted Living Facility. Stacy was so helpful, informative and caring. I truly felt like I was working with a dear friend. She listened to exactly what our needs were and then suggested places that checked every box. It is such an overwhelming time, having folks direct us to options that would work best for us saved us so much stress and energy. You will find Heartlight is an exceptional service, and Andrea was absolutely fabulous. She went above and beyond any expectations I had more than once and genuinely cares about the people she helps. I had a very complicated situation with my father, who is 81 and had a stroke, needed to be transported from northern California to Los angeles, then subsequently to an assisted living board and care. Andrea guided me through many obstacles (3 months of work!) and was an invaluable person to be in my corner. I highly recommend her and Heartlight if you have any needs for senior placement.

I worked with Lisa Bricker to find an assisted living facility for my Mom and she made what was a difficult situation as easy as possible. She really knows the marketplace and understands all the issues. She truly listened to our needs and suggested the ideal solution right away, without wasting our time. She was available to answer questions whenever I had them and went on the tour with me - I really felt like I had support and an advocate during the process and couldn't be happier with the home that we found for my Mom. Working with Heart Light to find a new home for my mom has been a pure joy and a gigantic relief. I can't tell you how much I recommend them. I needed to move my mom quickly from a larger facility to a Board & Care home due to the extremely progressive nature of her Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease and at her doctor's recommendation. I am quite familiar with and have toured at least twenty facilities as my mom's journey from Assisted Living to Memory Care, then to a better Memory Care Facility has happened very quickly yet I knew nothing about Board & Care homes. I was overwhelmed and running out of time: Would I make the right decision? Who are these people? What are their backgrounds? Can someone please stop with the BS? Where do I go? Who can I trust? Enter Andrea Daniels and Heart Light. She is like a gift from Heaven. She heard my concerns (which were many!), price range, and even the mile radius I preferred from my home. She understood my mom's needs. It is quite obvious she truly cares about the elderly, her clients, and their families. Should you be looking for any type home for your loved one, she is your best resource and guiding light. She also has the utmost integrity and calming nature. Heart Light found the absolute best home for my mom, her care has improved, and for that I am quite grateful.

My goodness. Just imagine. Your in your mid 60s, you’ve recently been diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy which requires a super fast relocation to an assisted living facility. That’s me. A close friend recommended I turn to Heart Light, specifically Andrea. Boy am I ever glad I did. Through this crazy stressful time, Andrea helped me through the process of finding the ‘right’ place with the level of care I need, as well as matching my personality and general needs with a full time live in community. After finding a couple of facilities, Andrea then picked me up, stayed through the entire tour, answered a kajillion questions, and drove me home again. All with friendliness, cheerfulness, and genuine sweetness. At an incredibly stressful time, Andrea made this part as easy as pie. Andrea then offered to pick up my paperwork and personally deliver it to the facility as well! Honestly, I know I probably could’ve accomplished all this on my own, but never with the expertise and thoroughness Andrea has done! I would not only absolutely recommend them here, but I will be recommending them to any friends in similar circumstances. Heart and Light. Really, it describes this outfit perfectly.
