I'm not usually a fan of Ethiopian food, but this place is great! Their platters are extremely diverse with options and well flavored. Their atmosphere is relaxed and laid back and often times have live music. Their service was also great so no complaints there. Parking can be a bit hard in this area, so I recommend parking on the side streets a block or two down. Giving it minus one star because the live music was so loud that I thought my eardrums were going to burst. It was impossible to communicate inside, but thankfully, they were able to move my party to outdoor.

Overall: Everyone should visit Industry Cafe & Jazz. The restaurant has a uniquely local vibe where one can unwind and listen to live jazz music. There are not too many places like this and this is a must when your around Culver City. The Food: The food was phenomenal. The spices, aroma, and warm nostalgic feeling of home cooking make this place a hidden gem. From all the dishes, my ultimate favorite was the Doro Wat. This chicken drumsticks felt like an elevated version of holiday food. The only down side it only one drumstick, but you can order another drumstick for 5 dollars. I could eat a whole chicken with that stewy aromatic sauce. You won't regret ordering this dish. The lentils were also delicious. They were creamy, warm, had a little kick to them. The Vibe: I also enjoy when I get to meet and chat with the owner of the restaurant. At Industry, the owner and cook greeted us and gave us a little history of his restaurant and the talented musicians. The service was exceptional and I could tell everyone loved and appreciated jazz.

Industry Cafe & Jazz is one of my favorite places in LA!!! I could not recommend it enough. If you come here expect to eat wonderful Ethiopian food, chat with a super friendly and generous owner, and enjoy live music. My wife and I always take people here when they visit and recommend it to everyone looking for a fun dinner experience. You'll find yourself coming here again and again.

Great food, fantastic vibe, excellent music. We were visiting from. Wisconsin and our kids were able to order off the classic menu (burger, spaghetti, and chicken wings). My husband I enjoyed delicious Ethiopian fare. The owner brought out some samples and my seven year old was hooked on the bread and lentils. He's pretty picky, so this was great. The music wonderful and was just the right level so that we could talk, but the kids weren't annoying to other patrons. 100% recommend.

You're the Culver City fire chief. You get a call -- every restaurant in the city has suddenly burst into flames. You only have one truck. Which restaurant do you save? This one. I come here pretty frequently, and every time I do I wonder why I don't come more often. The concept - an Ethiopian restaurant with live jazz, would be enough for me to love the place, but the food is excellent too. I'll occasionally get it as take out. Industry is family owned and operated and you can feel the care that has gone into it. Come a few times and you'll see some familiar faces. The owner, Aron, seems to know and remember everybody. For food - I tend to stick to the same order, but everything I've tried is great. My go-to is the vegetarian platter. My wife's regular order is chicken tibs. Both are excellent. They sometimes have an Eritrean lager, Asmara, that I always get if it's in stock. I don't drink beer very often but, like everything at Industry, it seems to hit the spot just right. For dessert, the carrot cake and candied yams are fantastic.

It was chill, looks like they're remodeling but they have cool people working there, my current jazz band Monaco and I @dead_rez had our 2nd ever performance there outside of the restaurant, it was chill jamming the tunes outside to the customers. It also happened to be someone's bday to which our awesome piano player Evan played a Happy Birthday tune for them. The cars kind of freaked me out every time they passed by though but we all lived ha! The food was tastey, definitely different from what I've eaten before ✌🏼🎶🎸🎙

We had the best time this weekend! Enjoyed incredible food, ambiance/energy, service, and THE MUSIC! The team was also willing to field necessary questions around auto-immune dietary needs, and provided alternatives. Thank you Industry Jazz for making my dad's birthday extra special, and for being so generous with your time and energy. Can't wait to come back!!

Great place, great vibe, very enjoyable and chill with great music and food. Live Jazz and Ethiopian + Eritrean food- you can’t go wrong. They have a patio too. Easy to walk in for a drink or a full night. No cover required. They have live music every night even though their site is out of date and they have jazz jams on Wednesday too.

Tucked away on an unsuspecting street, Industry Cafe & Jazz revealed itself to me through the captivating melodies of jazz that flowed into the air from where I parked. Intrigued, I followed the allure and found myself immersed in a world of magic and warmth. Welcomed with genuine hospitality by Aaron and the attentive staff, I was transported to a place far from Los Angeles. The exceptional live jazz performance was accompnied by exquisite Ethiopian culinary delights and good beer, this hidden gem left an indelible impression, beckoning me to return for more soul-stirring music and unforgettable dining experiences. I’ll be back!

This place is fantastic. We came for the jazz jam session on Wednesday. We ordered the vegetarian platter and Zil Zil and some beers and listened to people play. The environment is relaxing and welcoming, the food was great. We will definitely be back.

Warm, casual atmosphere for very tasty Ethiopian food and swingin' live jazz. Our group was well taken care of the entire night. The whole trout was a beautiful centerpiece on our platter.

The quality of the ingredients used in each dish is excellent. The Jazz Cheeseburger is to die for!! The fries are home made and perfectly seasoned, so is their beef patty. Plus, they have live music, multiple times a week.

Loved the live music. Owner was super cool. We love Ethiopian food and this did not disappoint. The seating was outside only it was too hot inside. I'd like to go back and sit inside it was very cute.

Incredible place to visit for food, music, and great company! Can’t recommend enough. Such a “hidden” gem of LA. Been coming here for years and love visiting regularly as well as taking friends from out of town. Aron and his staff are extremely welcoming, friendly, and will keep you coming back for the good times!

The food here is fantastic and the honey wine was also bomb. Really enjoyed the live music as well.

Excellent service, yummy tasty dessert and coffee, awesome live band and singers. The owner came around several times to check on us to make sure we were good which was a super super nice touch to the whole experience. I'm from Phoenix Arizona but when I come back I'm definitely coming back to try their food and they will be open for breakfast I definitely want to try that as well.

Small piece of paradise in Culver City. Came on a Saturday night by myself and was warmly greeted by the owner, live music playing and an assortment of groups and couples, families with pets included. A simple and well priced place without frills and yet delivering thrills. I had a beer on a bench right by the band and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
