It's been over two years since I reviewed my wife and I's favorite place. After taking some photos today, (not many) I get to add to the collection and give PokéBowl an honest COVID-19 review. I In short, I'm happy to say that they are doing well, with quality ingredients that are fresh. This being a family owned establishment, i shuddered to think that our favorite place could close and never come back.their precautions have worked for the better, though, and I personally am so happy to see them giving it their all. Client base I'm sure was scarce but they stuck it out. Your not here to read this review, though, are you? So here are all the photos. By an large, please come here. The kindness the couple have is immense and it shows in their food. And if I were you, I'd recommend the squid.

Really fabulous food. Choose what you want, so many selections. I took pictures, but they have even more stuff than is listed on the menu. I had zucchini noodles, brown rice, mixed greens and avocado. It was perfect. The food was so delicious, I am going back tomorrow, and I asked my lunchbunch friends to meet here next week. Fresh, fabulous food. Update, I have been here half a dozen times so far, the place is super clean, the food is fantastic, and the staff are really friendly. This is a wonderful place to eat.

PLEASE GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY. Everyone that I have taken to this place to try out has loved it! The flavors are so on point. If you love sushi but don't want sushi, this is the place to go. Friendliest staff I have ever met and this place has won my heart over and will forever be THE go-to spot. Favorite place to eat in Fort Myers

Best poke bowls in town. Owners are attentive, respectful and generous with the toppings. For the price you can’t beat it. Almost the same as a gross fast food meal and ten times as good. Edit 2/8/22 they never had a single complaint or excuse all through the pandemic. Just great food and perfect service. With all the garbage restaurants out there making excuses for everything under the sun due to the pandemic this is hugely respectable!! 6 stars if I could.

If you are looking for a great Poke Bowl, this is this place. The ingredients are fresh and much more varied than most Poke Bowl places. The staff is friendly (and patient) and seem to want to provide great service and awesome Poke Bowls. Of course we had Poke bowls, I won't bore you with the details, but there are a zillion possible combinations of ingredients, so get what you think you will like and try it out. If you like it, go back again and try something different that you wouldn't have tried before...you can be adventurous here! Aside from Poke bowls, we tried the Takoyaki (octopus balls with shaved bonito) on top. The Takoyaki was creamy and cruchy, and hit all the flavor notes. We will be back as this is our new favorite Poke bowl restaurant, and we highly recommend you try it out too!

First time here for their poke. It's top notch! You get to pick your toppings, sauces and sides. They don't come as meals. Nice eating area. The staff was patient when I didn't know what toppings to pick for my friend I was ordering for. Best bowls I have found in the area!

I had breakfast lunch and dinner here for two days. The prime rib is amazing. The meatloaf I did not care for at all. Great pancakes. I did not like the breakfast sausage or the toast because the toast is Texas toast too thick for my liking and the sausage patty for the breakfast look more like a hamburger. breakfast potatoes were really good mashed potatoes are great. Breakfast is a little pricey but definitely worth it. The food here is definitely better than average and the staff is very friendly.

Husband and I came here for lunch and it is a great little find. There is plenty of seating inside and larger tables for lunch groups. No outdoor seating. You pick the bowl and all of the toppings. I did the medium 2 topping shrimp and ahi tuna with sushi rice. It is affordable. We got two bowls for $23. Very clean inside.

I love it here!!!! Moved right up the street from this place and I would always drive by and tell myself I’ll give it a try. I did and it’s so good! The bowls are large and completely custom! Since you pick everything that goes inside I don’t think you can go wrong. Everything is very fresh and good quality. I enjoy this more than rolled sushi! Highly recommend!!

Wow! Ah Mazing! I’ve eaten a lot of different POKE before and was super impressed with the quality and quantity of their food. I highly recommend this spot. I ended up making my own bowl (medium w/ 2 proteins) and added everything I love. Place was super clean and staff was friendly/helpful. The Thai tea was just okay.

My first poke bowl experience. They walked me through ordering. I created a chicken poke bowl with zucchini noodles, corn, red onion, spicy cucumber and spicy mayo dressing. I typed it with fried onions and. They have bottled soda and beer.

Food is very tasty, good portions price is reasonable. Only issue I had was the music is loud makes it hard to hear when you're ordering your bowl especially that some of the ingredients can be misspelled. Other than that it's very clean and worth the try.

The breakfast was amazing, fried chicken steak was excellent and my wife had roasted pot roast topped with eggs with hash on the side...the experience, service and quality will make us return.....

James was our server. He was fun, attentive and friendly. When my wife mentioned a problem with her order (overall the food was very good), James gave us a refund on the offending dish. As we were leaving, I'd forgotten to bring the box containing the leftovers from our enormous piece of Oreo pie. James came running after us to give it back. Thanks, James! As for the food, the prices were very reasonable and the portions generous. I enjoyed the prime rib. As I mentioned previously, saying the portion size of the Oreo pie was generous is an understatement. It could be a whole pie by itself-- the most "mousse" you'll ever see this side of the Canadian border.

Great place good food breakfast steak and eggs outstanding great price. Lunch menu could probably use a little help. Their menu is really good good value service is okay is there not busy. Their margaritas and Bloody Marys are very good great price

Our waiter James was absolutely wonderful. We were passing through and needed a place to stop, and this place looked good for kids (7 and 4). The portions were huge, food was amazing, and I don’t think we’ve ever left a restaurant for all for of us under $50! That’s with adult beverages, 3 adult meals 1 kids meal, and 4 desserts! James was sweet and engaging with our kids. He made them feel important and asked them for their orders. He complimented their behavior and said goodbye to them each as we finished. I wish all waiters were this kind! Great food, great service, great price. You absolutely can’t beat it!

Variety of breakfast items. Had avocado toast with eggs and a salad. Waitress could have been more friendly. Long time to wait for food. Had to remind about bringing water. Sipped on mimosa until breakfast came. Party of 6, 3 couples, and waitress just presented us with one bill. 2 of us couples were treating the 3rd couple to breakfast. Just seemed odd. It worked but wasn't a lot of friendliness or congeniality from waitress .

Was actually looking forward to a breakfast and to find out that they only serve it till 11am numbed me out, because I thought diners served breakfast all day. I gotta say the fries with gravy out if this world this is the only place I found did this, since I'm from Michigan and that is our thing. Delicious!

Omg, I don't even know where to start. The famous sausage gravy must be famous for being cold and with hard biscuits. The bloody Marys were like extremely watered down tomato juice, my eggs benedict... The ham was good, the eggs were watery / runny and the hollandaise sauce was bland. My wife's 3 cheese omelette barely had any cheese, other than the unmelted swiss laying on top. The hasbrowns were good. Apparently we went to the wrong mel's diner and there's a better one nearby, but after our experience here, we will definitely not be back. Idk how you can screw up breakfast, but they did.

A great hidden gem. I found this place completely by accident looking for something to grab for lunch one day. I am so glad I found it! It's nestled in a shopping plaza on Cleveland Ave and if you are looking for a fresh alternative to lunch, definitely check this place out. You order your size and base, noodles or rice or I think even salad. Turn you pick you protein, tuna, shrimp, salmon, etc. Then you get to pick all your toppings and dressing. My pick is a tuna bowl with sushi rice with creamy ginger dressing. You can eat in, lots of space and very clean or take out.

By far, the best place in Lee County for Poke Bowls. Spicy tuna is always fresh and delicious. They don't count every little thing like cilantro as one of your toppings. Also, their covid precautions are top notch. I love this place!

Best Poke in town!! I’ve tried many other places, and they all upcharge all the toppings. This is a great value: good portion, quality sushi, and cheap price! Will continue coming back!

  • 3/5 David W. M. 2 years ago on Google
First time here. Great service. Fresh ingredients. Great taste. Good Prices Love it. EXCEPT…. And no one is more disappointed than me…. Every fourth fork full the flavor is interrupted by the unmistakable taste of melted plastic! WHAT!? Really. It’s like the smell of burning plastic ifyou ate it instead. Like when a loaf of bread gets too close to the toaster oven and melts the plastic onto the bread that you later eat. It’s kind a like that. I’m sure it’s an oversight and Some of the plastic packaging from the ingredients got too close to a hot surface and mixed in. Unfortunately it ruined my meal and my first experience here. I will return to give them another try once the after taste subsides.

I got a shrimp and scallop poke bowl for the first time. Rice and zucchini noodles. Pretty good. The island sauce was fantastic. The only thing I was concerned with is that I wondered if the shrimp and scallops were fresh. I also do not like cilantro. I would give this a 5 star if it didn’t have that. I know others love it but it’s just not for me. I would get again if I knew I could get without cilantro. It was loaded with shrimp and scallops. Seemed very fresh. Again I loved the island sauce.

Great place! Healthy, fresh and friendly staff. Family owned and operated. Can get a little expensive, especially now charging extra for salmon/tuna but it's pretty good considering a large bowl is roughly the cost of a sushi roll these days. Anyways, recommend this place and look forward to the next visit.
