A really friendly and welcoming crew at this small, cycling-themed coffee shop on Grand Ave. in Pacific Beach. It’s directly across the street from the Starbucks and Wendy’s. They have three outdoor tables along the street. The coffee is great. Really well-curated, balanced, and vibrant flavors. The creative espresso drinks are great as well — I recommend the Lavender Bliss or the Honey Cinnamon.

Best coffee in town! Each shot is measured, ground, and pulled to order. I home roast my beans and can top most coffee shops. Coffee Cycle put my brews to shame. Parking is a little limited but it is worth the effort.

I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! The people who work there are so lovely and hospitable. And the coffee is GREAT! Highly recommend a latte with their cashew/macadamia nut milk! They even gave me advice on bike maintenance and let me put air in my tires! Thank you for making my experience wonderful, Andrew, Tim, and Zen!

Great staff, great coffee. I’m visiting and this is the highest rated coffee place around. It absolutely lives up. These beans are on par with Sparrow in Chicago who services blue door, alinea, etc. HIGHLY recommend for people

I had heard so many good things about coffee cycle, so I had to try it myself. My expectations were definitely exceeded! I had an iced caramel macchiato that was so good that Starbucks doesn’t taste the same anymore! The environment of the shop is so warm and welcoming which is a reflection of the owner Chris who makes a point to engage with each customer and make the experience about so much more than coffee. Cannot say enough good things about this shop!

The staff is personable and seems like they've been waiting for you to arrive all day. They're very conscientious about their brewing, and the different varieties of coffee they have are all stellar and unique. I visited 5 days in a row, and find them to be the best shop I've found in visiting dozens in San Diego over the years!

Saw this guy from jaycation YouTube channel. I don't always trust youtubers judgement. But jaycation was spot on with this review. I'd rate this place 6 stars if I could. Owner is super cool, atmosphere is great, quality of the coffee is way better than that corporate place across the street. If you want quality coffee, come here trust me.

Chris and his whole Barista team are the best. They are always welcoming, friendly, courteous and provide excellent customer service. If you want the best atmosphere and are patient, wait and sit down outside enjoy the PB sunshine and an excellent coffee, cappuccino, Chai. Thank you, Sidney Allyese, LaLo, Chris and Team! I highly recommend!

I had a drop coffee from here like 4-5 years ago and never forgot how good it was. Went back today and theenu has expanded but the drip stayed just as delicious. My partner hates black coffee but really like it when I let him try mine. Definitely give it a try. The owner is also a great guy

Chris makes the most amazing black drop coffee I've ever had in my life. His knowledge and passion for coffee is palpable and his experience really shows. I've never had a black coffee that tasted so sweet! If I hadn't seen him painstakingly make it in front of my eyes I would have thought he gave us an ice tea! And his charm and humor are just the cherry on top. If I could give ten stars I would. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Locals spot with specialized coffee where you can purchase their freshly roasted coffee beans. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming here. The shop is small with the drink station on the left and a small shop on the right. Everything is measured and poured for the individual coffee. Great taste. I believe that have one size for the hot coffee (12oz). Alternative milk: * housemade cashew & macadamia nut (this should be your choice!) * Cashew * Macadamia * Almond * Oat * Soy Pastries come from Split bakery. Seating: there are only a few seats and tables outdoors. This is not a place to come with your laptop and work. Accepts credit card and cash.

This is one of the best coffee shops in the area and serves the best espresso drinks I've ever had. Chris and his team are super knowledgeable and committed to excellent and sustainable coffee and ingredients. I love the commitment to sustainability without sacrificing taste/ experience. 10/10 customer service and just about everything!!

Incredible! If you’re into specialize/craft espresso/coffee, this is the place. Met Luis and he’s an awesome coffee guy. Very passionate and knowledgeable about coffee. I ordered the Freddo and it came out smooth, sweet(in a good way), creamy and robust coffee flavor. Couldn’t recommend this place more. I hope you’ll give it a chance. **Updates. My apology. Luis did recommended you. Can’t wait to try it.

A local's shop that treats everyone like a local. Coffee Cycle roasts their own beans and pride themselves on sourcing excellent beans. They have at least two direct trade partnerships (Honduras and Costa Rica) for coffee beans, and owner "Hippy" Chris is a regular guest on the Coffee Smarter podcast sharing his coffee knowledge. The inside of the shop is small, very small, but has a unique local maker's market, and their are round tables for seating outside. Coffee Cycle was originally a coffee cart built on top of a pedicab bicycle, and the local bike community shows up regularly for group rides, fun rides, coffee drinking, and communing. Very welcoming, dog and people friendly. Vegan food options including pastries, burritos, and oatmeal. Full menu of single origin coffees for pourover, espresso, and espresso drinks. Photos from multiple visits. I get here at least once a month even though it is no where near my home.

I ordered: Iced "surprise me" which turned out to be the pumpkin spice! Was soooo good. Lots of places will over sweeten the pumpkin or add too many spices, this was just the right amount of sweet and spice with pumpkin blend. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! Bacon Burrito! Made fresh to order and you can tell it's made with love. Chris helped me pick out my drinks and food and the conversation and atmosphere of this coffee shop is a must see. I drive past it everyday always saying I NEED TO STOP and I'm so glad I did! I will definitely be back to try all of the special drinks and concoctions they have on the menu. The coffee cart, art and conversation here can't be found anywhere else. Very authentic and worth the money/time spent here. Thank you Chris and fellow coffee goers for helping me start my morning out right! See you again soon ☕

If there was a “fine dining” coffee shop, this would be it. Incredible coffee with a reasonable price tag. You can tell on your first sip how high quality this coffee is. And the staff are some of the nicest humans around. Love this place!

This place is amazing. First of all, the staff were very friendly and we're very helpful in helping me choose from their different coffee options. Second, the coffee was spot on👌🏼and they actually offered me a different coffee if I wasn't satisfied with my order. Very cool 😎 And then that brings me to the Bacon burrito. So so good. Made fresh, no less. Thank you Coffee Cycle team.

This review is long overdue. Most consistent coffee experience in San Diego! Best quality beans, the best flavors and aromas!! Simply the best baristas; always so welcoming and knowledgeable. Every time we go we usually grab a bag of beans for the week, a cappuccino and latte (it’s one of my favorite routines).

At first I didn’t like the size of the cups… it’s to small…. Basically they only got small size cups… but…. The quality of their coffee is extreme…. Unbelievable how good it is…. And I’ve traveled more than 10 different countries and I’ve been to many places…. I hope they don’t add drugs there lol but it’s extremely amazing…. Just honestly…. WOW!!!!

Highly recommend. Both staff were super welcoming and very friendly. Took the time to explain all of the great things on the menu. Ordered a Vanilla Bean iced latte with almond milk, it was perfectly lightly sweet and tasted wholesome. Tons of good quality coffee options. Excited to come back and try more.

What a special place! The coffee is tastes incredible, the service is always top notch, and every time you walk in you are greeted with a smile! I went 2 times and Chris remembered my order - I love that! Hands down best little spot for coffee in PB :)

We ordered a Dark Mocha Latte and Honey Cinnamon Latte. We also had a Sweet Jalapeño pastry. All of this was absolutely perfect! The cashier was super nice! The service was fast and very helpful. The menu has so many options. There are vegan friendly options and I think everything is locally sourced. This is definitely our new favorite coffee spot. ☕

The 5 star reviews make sense. I am an extreme skeptic but was drawn in by the reviews and this may be the best coffee I’ve ever had. Iced white mocha non dairy. Also had Soyrizo burrito it was also amazing. Wish I could give a 6 star.
