I booked the Hollywood/Beach sunset tour for my husband’s 30th birthday this weekend and we both loved the experience! I get motion sickness pretty easily so I was quite nervous about this but I took some Dramamine and it must have helped because I had a BLAST with my husband on the helicopter. I had called the office a few days before and spoke with Claudia and Peter and they were both super professional, kind, and informative. They answered all of my questions and made me feel secure about the tour. Peter turned out to be our pilot and he was absolutely great. He pointed out major sights as we flew over them and also pointed out great shots for pictures. We were both in awe of the whole experience. I was definitely shocked but very happy that I didn’t get nauseous. It’s actually less scarier than you think once you’re on the helicopter because it feels like you’re floating (Peter was great at making sure it was a smooth ride). We will definitely be coming back in the future (can’t wait!!!). Thank you to everyone at Group 3 Aviation. It’s no wonder you all have such great reviews and I’m so glad I booked our tour with you guys!

One of the most memorable experiences I've had! Everything was perfect, the ride was smooth, the pilot Peter was knowledgable about the city and made us feel safe. Definitely worth every penny. Don't think twice about booking! It was great! Will travel with them again.

What an amazing experience! Peter and Claudia are excellent owners and pilots. This is a small, family owned business! We rode with Peter who was not only a great pilot but was able to call out some great landmarks along the way. There's no other way to experience the sheer size of LA except from the air! For those with motion sickness, I think you'll be pretty good here. I can't ride with other people in a car but I had no issues with the helicopter. There's nearly a 360° view in the front, and a solid 180° view or better from back seats. You'll probably feel eerie or fearful right after takeoff, but that feeling subsides pretty quickly. Be sure to grab take the complete flight, because there's lots to see! Especially the canyons! Pictures do not do justice, you need to be up in the sky for the full experience. Most epic experience in Los Angeles! Claudia and Peter went above and beyond with their service. Had a very friendly and warming personality. We flew over many wonderful places such as the Hollywood sign and Santa Monica Pier. We also got to spend some time at the Malibu private landing, where we enjoyed a picnic watching the sunset with some drinks and snacks. Definitely recommend for anyone, If you are visiting or live in LA it is a must.

Peter the pilot and Claudia are amazing. We called last minute and they were able to squeeze us in. They offer free parking, the prices are very decent. When we started flying my wife got scared and Peter quickly calmed her down and reassured her that everything was safe. He gave us an amazing experience and is a great tour guide as well. We saw the Hollywood sign and flew over Beverly Hills and all the way to Santa Monica Pier. The view is breathtaking and well worth it.

This tour was amazing, Peter was just so lovely and friendly and super knowledgeable about the areas we visited! It was SO much fun, and we saw so much in the time in the helicopter. He pointed out celebrity homes which was really cool and flew in close to Malibu and Santa Monica pier so we could get some really cool shots! Would highly recommend as part of your trip!

From watching the sunset at our Malibu landing spot to circling sparkling downtown was a truly memorable experience and makes you appreciate the beauty of LA.

I booked the Movie Studio and Coast helicopter tour as a surprise for my husbands 50th Birthday, in mid April 2023. On arrival we met with Claudia who was so friendly and professional we knew we were in good hands. Peter arrived to meet us in the office and took us down for the safety briefing before we boarded. Again Peter was so friendly, knowledgeable, professional, it was clear he was highly experienced and he had some good stories to share. The flight was so smooth, Peter pointed out lots of landmarks, we were all thrilled, this is an amazing way to see the city. Highly recommended.

This was a great experience. Having never been on a helicopter before I was a little nervous, but our pilot - Peter - was friendly and reassuring. It did not take long before I felt totally comfortable and enjoyed every minute of our trip. I hope to go on another ride with Group 3.

There are very few businesses that exceed expectations before you arrive, this is one of them. We met with Peter, the pilot of our helicopter tour, and were instantly impressed with his hospitality and friendliness. He was incredibly welcoming and guided our tour with such professionalism. He answered all of my parties questions (which were endless lol) and was giving us insiders, if you will, about our City’s landmarks and interesting buildings. This tour made for an incredibly memorable experience for a small family that’s only been on a plane, where things are in and out of your view in just seconds. You are able to really enjoy and take in the scene and be up-close and personal to the daily life of us in Los Angeles. Sorry for the late review, we had a honeymoon :) This is our experience. I hope it would help somebody. It was our first helicopter flight ever. And I wanted to make a proposal to my girlfriend. And a crew of Group 3 Helicopters knew about that. So, it was a little bit nervous flight, also because it was really windy that day - but not for Tom. And I appreciate Group 3 Helicopters because they made everything PERFECT! We filled out the documents before the flight. The atmosphere was brilliant. They were really friendly, careful and made the process very easy, and I felt myself comfortable. The flight was exciting! Our pilot Tom was a real professional! That windy day he controlled the helicopter like a maestro. So, I had a comfortable chance to ask my girlfriend to marry me during the magnificent sunset view. We really appreciate the team for impressions they gave us and we will remember that day for life! By the way she said YES.

I surprised my wife for our anniversary with a Group 3 Helicopter Beach/Hollywood Tour. Claudia and Pete were great to work with, they even changed the flight path at my request to fly over the annual Waves of Flags display at Pepperdine University, it was magnificent to see from the air. Our pilot, Tom, was outstanding, not only did we feel safe, but his knowledge was amazing. I would definitely fly again with Group 3 Helicopters and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great air tour of Los Angeles and the beaches.

We had an amazing Hollywood & The Beach Tour provided by Peter and Claudia! This was a birthday surprise for my fiancé and I could not have found a better company to make it so nice and special. Their small business provides an excellent service and experience from start to finish. They were great at communication right from the first call to book the tour. They made sure to call us and give us some options due to the weather forecast for our original time and date. They were flexible, accommodating and always very friendly. Peter was our pilot and he did an excellent job making sure that our safety comes first and that we had a great experience while being in the sky.
