Coffee was hands-down amazing. Highly recommend their honey cinnamon coffee. This cafe is underrated, it’s got super friendly vibes, amazing coffee that’s not overpriced, and I got a biscuit with my coffee! Major plus for being dog-friendly, with dog bowl and dog treats!

It’s definitely my favorite cafe in downtown. I usually come here for breakfast. They’ve the best coffee in the area. Mo is always so friendly and welcoming.

I live in SD and love trying new coffee shops. I had the village cafe special iced and it was amazing! Just the right amount of sweetness, and they also gave me a cookie to go with it. I also had the breakfast sandwich to-go and the croissant was so delicious! I was so surprised they had added chips, which made it even better. The staff was also super nice and friendly. Over all, this is an awesome spot to get your daily caffeine.

Wrapping up breakfast here now and had to write a review before I forgot! Visiting SD for the day. After reviewing every 5-star breakfast spot in the area, we settled on Village Cafe because of how fresh the ingredients looked. The vibe is super cute and thoughtful. Outlets at the small albeit comfortable tables and cozy holiday decor. The food and coffee (and oat matcha for me) was exceptional. Complimentary biscuit with drink orders are a nice touch. We ordered the avocado toast and the acai bowl. We killed it! So fresh and tasty. Didn't leave a crumb. Lol. I also overheard the owner offer another customer the option to text for her order pick up next time. The barista offered us water mid-meal. Wish the world all exhibited this level of service and kindness! This would be my daily breakfast spot if I lived in the area. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Worth trying just to support this worthwhile small business! Loved this spot!

Skip the big queue at the places down the road and head here for a more intimate or takeaway option. Delicious Avocado toast with feta, and a cucumber tomato salsa. I added an egg and it was wonderful. This is a small friendly place with lovely friendly staff.

Village Cafe has one of the best matcha lattes I ever had. They provide delicious vegan options and are passionate about their job. The ambience is cozy and clean. The owner and employees are really kind and welcoming. I’m definitely going back. I got the iced matcha latte with oat milk and rose water and the vegan sandwich. I had a great time there :)

If you're looking for your new local coffee shop that feels like a second home, look no further than this hidden gem. I've been a regular for several months now and the owners' warm and welcoming personalities make me feel like part of the family every time I visit. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and very well priced. The iced lattes are a great value, especially if you live in the area and plan on getting coffee regularly. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee, a welcoming atmosphere and friendly owners.

This place is a true gem in the middle of Downtown San Diego. The food is delicious and the coffee is some of the best I’ve had. The owner is very kind and friendly and the staff always goes above and beyond to provide the best customer service. It has quickly become my go to coffee shop. I highly recommend to anyone looking to support a local business that provides an elevated coffee shop experience. Thanks Village Cafe!

It is a very tiny but yet cozy cafe in downtown San Diego. I like the setting and it is very comfortable for a cup of coffee or to do some works. Moe, the owner of the cafe, taught me some new coffee knowledge - some are his creation! I tried the Turkish coffee and WOW - that's very special. I love it.

While visiting San Diego, I did happen to walk past this place out of the blue. My wife and I wanted some coffee and we stopped by. This stop was one of our best decisions to date. Very small and quaint but the coffee and pastries/muffins are to die for. The Village Cafe Special is what we got and it tastes amazing. The nice little pumpkin muffin was fantastic warmed up. Overall, a definite worth while trip to get se great snacks and coffee.

If you are looking for very good coffee and freshly made breakfast in San Diego Downtown you should definetly visit the „Village Café“. The coffee was amazing, as well as the Acai Bowle and the protein smoothie. We chose the place due to proximity to our hotel and the very good reviews and it was a very good idea to do so 😀 Good to know that the cafe has a few seats available in and outside but in general is rather small.

Stopped by for a coffee and chai. The vibe inside was really nice, music included. The drinks tasted great. The owner was there and when he knew we were visiting SD, was kind enough to gift us some muffins on the house to welcome us. We will be back again next time we’re in town!

Love this place. The coffee was great, and the staff were really awesome. I had an issue with my flights, and as a foreigner in the city I didn't know how to fix it, and the guys here went WAY above and beyond to help me out. Great coffee and great people - what more could you want? I highly recommend this place - make sure to check it out if in the area.
