I surprised my boyfriend with a stay at the Gray Barn which is right on the property. The Inn is just beautiful and the views are incredible. The rooms are very clean, nice. Vegan breakfast is made every morning for guests and it was delicious. Out of respect for the animals only vegan snacks and food are allowed to be brought in by guests. Tours are given for guests too and that was amazing. We got to visit each animal, learn what happens to them in the industry, and even interact with some of the animals. We can't wait to go back!

An beautiful, unique experience. Not a petting zoo; they are a little more of the mindset that you can interact with the animals if the animals are interested. But you will almost certainly have interaction; especially from those goats. If you take the tour, they allow you into the gates with the animals, and tell you a bit about their stories and struggles, along with a lot of surprising info about the animal agriculture industry. All the staff was super kind. My tour guide was very generous, helpful, and informative. Answered any questions given. Was not crowded at all for us, and was a beautiful day.

Beautiful grounds and the animals are all at peace grazing, relaxing and enjoying the company of visitors. They educate you on the slaughter industries and information on each animal. Great place!

One of my favorite places in the world. [This is not a petting zoo.] Come to learn about what the animals are put through while seeing the beautiful rescues. For volunteers, you'll work hard but it's incredibly rewarding!

My girlfriend and I drove 3 hours to Woodstock Farm Sanctuary this past weekend and had a super fun tour there. It was totally worth the trip. Our tour guide Anna, was kind and knowledgeable. We were able to see and pet different farm animals and hear their stories. All the animals are friendly. You could tell they are well loved and cared for by the folks that devote their time to help and advocate for these animals. They also have a cute little gift shop where you can buy adorable tshirts, hoodies, hats, socks and tasty vegan snacks. We would love to go back and see them again sometime in the future. Please go and visit this wonderful place and support what they do. And donate if you can!

Such an amazing place. The Gray Barn was beautiful to stay at and the vegan breakfast was amazing as well. I was so happy to see animals live until they grow old (unlike most animals in the meat industry who are unable to live until 1/3rd of their life). They are well taken care of and seem peaceful in their happy, stress-free home at the sanctuary :)

Woodstock is an amazing sanctuary with an array of programming, and options to visit or volunteer. Their commitment to rescuing and caring for the residents is exceptional, and they have a strong philosophy and practice of inclusion for all human visitors and volunteers. The staff is kind, welcoming, and very knowledgable.

The most down to earth, friendly and passionate people who love animals and provide shelters to neglected or surrendered farm animals. During my visit I had the outmost pleasure of meeting and working with Mr. Sean. He was extremely helpful and showed me and my family around the farm. I loved every second of it. I can't wait to come back for another trip!

It was such an experience, I cried. Cried happy tears to know that this place is open - saving animals. After wanting to come here for many years (its a far drive for us) we finally made our way up to the Sanctuary and it was WORTH the wait. Such a massive and beautiful place. The staff care SO much for every single animal. The animals are so happy after dealing with neglect or almost death. The sanctuary gives them a second chance at life. The tour was wonderful. Lots of time spent and lots of info. The staff was so wonderful. We stopped in the gift shop after to further support this place with getting some adorable t shirts. Seriously, come here. LEARN about our farming industries and educate yourself. Support a good cause.

An amazing place โ€” for all the right reasons. Once you get off the main road to enter Rescue Road, youโ€™ll feel yourself exhale and feel calmer. Meet the animals and find abundant joy. Volunteer and you will return again and again. The staff and volunteers are passionate about their work and provide so much love & care for the 400+ rescued residents (animals). So grateful for this place.

Great area to help volunteer at! They have a bunch of different ways you can help out and support them and the animals! You can take a tour and really understand how the food industry works with the animals and how poorly they actually get treated!

A beautiful farm sanctuary with so much space to roam and explore the outdoors for these sweet rescued souls! This place is really inspiring and has rescued so many different types farm animals from a terrible fate, also provides a lot of eye opening info about the horrors of factory farming. Really want to come back to volunteer or stay!

This is our second time at the sanctuary. We took a private tour last time, which I highly recommend. This time it was a group tour and more affordable, but less animal one on one tlc :) still, itโ€™s always incredible to spend time outdoors with the lovely animals and support the sanctuaryโ€™s important work.

I came here because I didnโ€™t want to support zoos anymore or anything that keeps animals in horrible conditions. This place warmed my heart, every farm animal had a story and you can see that they are taken care of so well. They have so much space to roam, the animals approach you only if they feel like it. I love that they all look so at peace. The tour guide was also super sweet and answered every question our group had. Overall 10/10 experience! Iโ€™m definitely going back again.

๐Ÿ˜  Unfortunately this is how the majority of the shelves looked when I went yesterday. I wasn't even able to get the essentials. Which was very disheartening. I won't be able to visit a different more well stocked food bank until next week. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you really need beans o...
