Fantastic little restaurant. I know there are several around, but for some reason I kept finding somewhere else to eat. Huge mistake. Everything here has been delicious. I ate here 4 times in two weeks. I have gotten to try the chorizo, barbacoa, brisket, fish, carnitas, and chicken tinga. Flour and corn. I honestly usually hate soft corn tortillas... get their's. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I can really ask for is something a little hotter on their salsa choices. All of them taste great, but their "extra spicy" is not spicy at all if you have even the slightest spice tolerance. Please guys, we aren't children. Give us a little fire. (I can't wait to try their birria) ** Update - I tried them and they were good. Just good. The consommé was 7.5/10. Meat was 7/10. Honestly I prefer their everyday soft corn varieties.

Freshness Of Their Ingredients If your looking for delicious, fresh tacos in the neighborhood, you have to try Taco Zocalo. The tacos are prepared with fresh ingredients and made upon ordering for maximum freshness and flavor. I’ve been coming a few years, and I’m constantly amazed at the flavor combinations. These ingredients are of the highest quality, so no matter what you order, you know your getting something great. The salsas are made in-house and offer a wide range of south of the border authenticity. If you are feeling in the mood for something a bit more indulgent try the street corn as a side with a Mexican-Coke or a cold beer.

It was good overall. Loved the patio, and some people had their dogs, which was great! The tacos could’ve been more unique with different toppings, rather than the same toppings for every protein.

No doubt the best tacos in Ashburn. Such a great shop with a super friendly staff (like notably friendly actually) and amazing food. The place is clean, and we’ll kept. The men’s room is showing signs of wear but it’s clean for sure. The menu changes only slightly on certain days so if you’re looking for the Birria tacos you need to stop in on a Tuesday or Sunday. I highly recommend them by the way, the consummate is next level. Their chips and salsa are outstanding, the house made salsa is slightly smoky and just damn delicious. The guacamole is also fantastic and both the salsa and guacamole come is a good sized portion. They also sell bottles of their hot sauce. There’s 4 different kinds of hot sauces at each table and all of them are great. The “extra hot” isn’t that hot at all so don’t be afraid of it, it’s got a really nice balanced flavor. This is a popular place and gets a get crowded around lunchtime, but there’s a decent amount of indoor seating and more seating available outdoors. Parking is easy, so no problems there. I’d say if there was any one thing that wasn’t perfect it was the amount of chips you get with an order. The salsa and guacamole is enough for 3-4 but the chips are only enough for 1-2. Other than that, I love this place and highly recommend it.

It was first time for me and my family to enjoy halal Mexican food . Everything is on point. Good portion. Easy parking, nice server and fast service. I’ll definitely will go there again.

Taco Zocalo is my go to for tacos. The freshness and combination of ingredients make these tacos great. I typically get two or three steak tacos to go. Taco Zocalo provides a divider tray to keep the tacos upright and intact so they don’t fall apart before you get home. Their hot sauce is also very good. The hot sauce doubles as a salsa substitute to eat with tortilla chips, so I started buying bottles to put additional hot sauce on my tortilla chips. I passed along a bottle or two to my friends and they quickly became regulars at Taco Zocalo as well. The very friendly staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests whether they are sitting inside or outside. Don’t second guess this one. You won’t be disappointed.

Good experience overall. The service was fast and friendly. They have plenty of space to dine in and the place is clean. You order at the register and they bring the food to your table in about 10 minutes; other meals may vary in time. The food tasted good and everyone in my party was satisfied. You can order ahead and pick it up as well. I will definitely go back.
