Historical. Area around statute seems to always be well maintained. From time to time you get different types of street performers around the statue which is nice. Also it is right next to Fitz's. So if you are hungry you can eat at Fitz's or you can also walk the other way and get a bite over at salt and smoke. Salt and amoke has outside seating.

One of the coolest statues I have seen! And all while drinking an ice cold Fitz's... Can't beat it!
