First time eating here, I ordered a lunch special for $10.25 that came with a fresh & delicious Pastrami sandwich, a juicy pickle, German style potato salad, and a can of cold soda. The owner was friendly and she added a sugar cookie for dessert which was very nice of her… I recommend this family oriented small business to try instead of those gross fast food chains.

The ambience of this deli feels so cozy like a grandma's house. The staff is nice and so sweet. I have never been in a German food establishment before so I didn't know what to expect but I was NOT disappointed. My sandwich was great. It was so much bigger than I expected! It was also very fresh. I will definitely come back and try another item on their menu.

2022 is the year of trying places I always wondered about. This deli did not disappoint. Kristine Konefat and her partner were very hospitable and the food is fantastic. My friend and I ordered 2 specials and a sandwich to try things. Sauerbraten, Brunsweiger, Spetzle, cabbage rolls, warm potato salad, macaroni salad, a pickle and some pastries. All of it was so delicious. Our favorite was a tie between the Sauerbraten and Spetzle. Highly recommend for all locals.

I was really pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bratwurst. The hot potato salad reminded me of a high quality knish from my childhood and was really comforting on a chilly day and the sauerkraut was a really nice combination of sweet and sour - I could totally see it being amazing on a Reuben. I was so happy I went back the same day and got a raspberry pastry and a peach pastry. Both of them were flaky, buttery, good balance of sweetness, delicious too.

The food on the shelf was expired, and the prepared food was Polish, not German, and to be honest I thought it was overpriced for what you got. The owner was somewhat pleasant when she took the time to help me. She was on the phone and had me wait for around 15 minutes. I was just about to leave but decided to give them my business because she claimed to know the old German woman that I was buying the meal for.... turns out I was at the wrong deli, and she didn't know her at all. Well... I guess you'll say whatever you gotta say to make your customers happy.... or just to have customers for that matter. 🙄

Ordered 2 hot sandwiches- the Yorkshire dip and the Reuben, along with sauerkraut and German potato salad. I’m not sure which sandwich I liked better! Both were really good. The sauerkraut was so yummy, I wish I would have ordered more. I wouldn’t recommend the potato salad though, it was bland but it does taste like potatoes. Some people like it bland like that, I just don’t prefer it. I look forward to trying the spatzel when they have it! Overall, it was pretty good and I’ll be back soon.
