OMG Loved it!!!!!! Currently having the immersive Van Gogh exhibit. It was breathtaking and highly emotional. The theater is well staffed and well organized. Bought the VIP tickets, they were SOOOOOOOO worth it. VIP allowed us access into the theater first before the group, and VR experience was included. We had an amazing time. Perfect for a romantic date, best friend adventure or art enthusiasts. Taught me how tormented Van Gogh was in his life, but the wonderful art that came from it.

Loved coming here ever since I was a youngin... Might not necessarily be for the privileged or bougie type, but nothing quite like it around.... An authentic, awesome and unforgettable venue! 🎶😍🎭 👍👍👌🙂

Wasn't sure what to expect upon entry. It wasn't clearly stated at the counter. We weren't treated any different even though I purchased the VIP tickets. My guess and I had exited a few times to ask questions. It was very laid back, probably because there was no crowds. We tried to be involved with everything that was displayed. Towards the end we had fun in the drawing room and had a great experience in the virtual travel. That was an amazing end to the adventure. As we browsed thru the gift shop, we picked up a few items. I asked the cashier about the items that was offered with our VIP tickets, he kindly showed us the items. Overall we had a wonderful visit, took lots of photos and videos. It was worth the drive and BONUS...FREE PARKING!!

Yet another honest review. Cool stop, today they had the Van Gogh exhibit. Was a little pricey but we did spend nearly 2 hours here. I think that I’m a one and done with the exhibit, but we did enjoy ourselves. Hope that you enjoyed this please hit that like and or follow button. Have a great day!!!

Attending my daughter's graduation at The Tower Theater was a memorable experience. The venue's historic charm added a unique touch to the celebration. The intimate setting allowed for a close connection to the moment, and the acoustics were excellent, ensuring that every word spoken and note played resonated beautifully. The staff was accommodating, contributing to the smooth flow of the event. Overall, The Tower Theater provided a fitting backdrop for this special occasion, making it a cherished memory for our family.

Went to Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience at the Tower Theater. It was an interesting display of every piece of art that Van Gogh created during his lifetime. The art is recreated in 360 degree digital art projections and continuously moves and transforms throughout the show on screens, walls and floors in a large auditorium. It lasts for about 70 minutes. It was unique in it's presentation. Try to plan for parking prior to going. Covid-19 protocols are fully enforced. Masks are mandatory and you must bring proof of vaccines and photo id.

The Tower Theatre is so unassuming! The ability to showcase such 3D beauty was stunning. It was a great afternoon of culture and the cocktails were on point. Parking is tricky, but it is worth it.

Attended for the Van Gogh Immersive Experience. When the details of this event came out, people were in an uproar over the venue location because it wasn’t as promised by the event creators posts on Facebook. This was my first visit to the Tower, but my interest is sparked in their regular events, as the history behind this theater seem incredible. Thanks for hosting such a cool event!

We went to see Brian McKnight in concert at the Tower Theater. My 7th time seeing him. He’s an amazing artist and you should buy all his records. Anyway, there was parking close by. The venue staff was nice and friendly. The seats (front row seats!!!) were great. The venue was clean and the sound system at a comfortable level. Great place for a show.

1976 : junior year of high school. A car full of friends and I drove 30 miles to attend a concert by the band RUSH. It was the first concert I ever photographed. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson 'posed' for my camera throughout the evening as everyone in attendance enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and ethereal vibe. A memory I will cherish forever.

Visited for the new Van Gogh multi dimensional experience. Was pretty cool but don't know the Tower otherwise so can't add speak to how the space is when not transformed into a mysterious event like this...

I enjoyed my first concert here when I was still a teenager and have seen quite few epic ones. It's surprisingly clean and easy to find your way through.

True historical landmark, this is a place where everyone has performed. Everyone! The tower theater is a place everyone know about or has passed the threshold. Truly iconic to say the least!! It’s on 69th street. Right down the street from the movie theater!! Check it out when your in town!!

I bought my ticket at the box office before the show. I asked the man for a seat away from speakers as I still can't handle high levels of sound and light 5 years after my concussions. He is the best! He gave me a seat on the outside aisle that was a row behind a column. I could move a few steps to my side and have the column block out as much light as I needed. It was a handicap seat for many reasons. The leg room was also nice.

The tower theater itself was very cool! Loved the building. I was there for the van gogh exhibit which was nice but slightly underwhelming.

Best acoustics I have ever heard and wish I could see every band there. They do lack ability it seems it have any mobility restricted seating accessible on the balcony(which is what I can afford usually ) not sure about in the lower sections. That is really my only complaint but from my 6'5" husband....seats are not made for anyone 6'+ as far as legroom

This theater is a classic landmark having been built in 1972 and a myriad of music icons have played there (cool paintings of these artists hang on the walls). The building does show its age but most landmarks do. The seats are comfortable and there are bars conveniently located for your drinking needs. The acoustics are good and all seats offer a good view. Parking is a challenge due to location.

A very old theater the upkeep is not as good as it once was I had been there many times in the pass however the show was really nice and my grandson enjoyed it that was all that mattered

This place is such a classic theater to hear live music. Great sound and very nice staff. I have been going to shows here for decades. I am always excited to hear that a band is booked here instead of the larger impersonal venues. I always have a great time here. The only drawbacks are the neighborhood and the basement bathrooms, but I guess you cant have it all. Love this place.

Greatest venue for acoustics for sound. I have been fortunate to see many of my favorite bands throughout a lifetime which recently was King Diamond. It hasn't changed much but it is a legendary venue overall.

Simply amazing! This was heaven for my whole family. The exhibit was not only informative but also emotionally compelling. Our 9 year old danced through the projection-mapped, artistic, laser, light show. Meanwhile, my wife and I were so captivated and touched by the dynamic beauty of perfectly harmonized music and visuals, that we just sat silently with tears streaming from our eyes like water down an over-filled glass. 10/10

Fantastic sound, great set, lighting, etc. made for an amazing show! It helps that Ghost is fantastic live, I'm sure. Could easily spend a small fortune on drinks here, but that's standard at any concert nowadays. Excellent venue!

Great time, not really any bad seats in the whole theatre. Awesome history and great job maintaining the original esthetic. Experience probably varies by show however I have always found the staff helpful and the waits and lines to move quickly.

Went for "R&B Only" event. Cool place seems like the seating is good all around. The sound system for said event was good but I'm not sure if it was the house system or it was brought in specifically for that event.

Fun venue, got to see one of our favorite bands here. Parked at tower parking garage. Venue could’ve been a tad cleaner but all in all a great experience.

  • 5/5 Michael G. 3 years ago on Google
The absolute best concert venue in The whole trip-state area. You can be sure that each year, some of the premier names in entertainment will appear on the marquee. Don't be afraid to sit and relax and laugh with a great comedian, or get completely wasted and stoned with your favorite music act. The acoustics Alsace been nationally ranked as one of the finest in the county, and the intimacy will make you feel like you are in a coffee shop.

I saw YES here. It was 1998, the original line up. Excellent accoustics, was an amazing concert. Not a bad seat in the house. The Song Remains the Same every saturday night in 80's was a must. Blue October was my last show here, it was in 2013?.

Went to see RnB Only which was pretty awesome. The drinks were so watered down though and the floors were absolutely nasty. The show overall was great but I wouldn't advice them to pick this venue next time.

Very spacious with a well stocked bar. The location was easy to find and there was knowledgeable staff everywhere. There is no formal coat check but there are racks available for individuals on the mezzanine level.

It's a little unorganized but overall good. I wouldn't recommend getting seats furthest away though I can't imagine you'd be able to see the performance AT ALL. I was on the balcony and could barely see...they don't have projection screens or anything.
