This nandos in Grand Baie will put any original Nandos in South Africa to shame. The burger, the chicken, the livers all a lot better. The overall spice a level as well as taste is really good. Better service too and also a wider menu with great mocktails. The portion sizes are also really good.

While on holiday at a wonderful resort in Mauritius we risked our lives on bicycles and a very scary road to get to this Nando’s. But it was all worth it some of the best Nando’s ever!! The wide menu with most of the South African options was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I ever find myself anywhere close I will be back!

No one from customer service responded to the email they told me to write to (not surprisingly). I wish 0 stars were an option here. The delivery was a disaster. - food was delivered 50 minutes late. - the bag and ALL the boxes were soggy and broken from spilled coleslaw - the coleslaw had a strong bad smell, absolutely not ok to eat; it was clearly expired or had been sitting out too long. It was on EVERYTHING in the delivery bag. And dripped on everything else (my clothes, chair, phone - just a disaster). Anyone going to pay for dry cleaning the fabrics from your expired disgusting coleslaw? Nope. - “Caesar salad” was just a box of wilted salad (no croutons, no Parmesan cheese, and no sauce) and the salad was HOT and wilted due to being placed between hot boxes - chicken was overcooked and spicy, although it was requested mild. Absolutely disgusting dinner. It will be the last time I order from Nando’s. Edit: the automated customer service replies on Google maps are a JOKE! Get a real customer service team on here and stop ruining the Nando brand!

Just had a late lunch with my sister here. She's very much a Nandos fan usually and it's one of the restaurants I frequent usually. Had to say, I was very disappointed today. First the food, my sister does not eat chilli. Her go to is Lemon and Herb sauce. We were informed today that hey, tHeRe'S cHiLli In LeMoN aNd HeRb! When we sent it back, there was no sauce on it. Same with the corn on the cob! We were very understanding when they told us there was no halloumi cheese, if you don't have sauce, LET US KNOW! She'd have taken something else! Also, in the Meditaranean Espetada, no cheese, no veg except for onions... Standards are so much lower than at Phoenix or Bagatelle. Second, the service. Being understaffed happens! Being rude is not okay! Photo in proof, the waitress spilled fanta on our table, missed my phone only because a napkin was in it, she did not even say anything! Also, usually we don't even need to ask for a refill, she asked ALL the tables around us if they wanted a refill, our glasses sat empty for a long time but she never asked us if we wanted one. When we finally asked for a refill, it took a while and spillage story from above. Service matters! Very bad experience, I will definitely not be going back to Nandos La Croisette, but I think your customers at least deserve what they ask for and a good experience for what we are paying.

Not a real take-away spot but they took very long with our order only to see it standing for more than 10minutes under the lights.

Had lunch at Nando’s Grand Baie with my toddler, i was surprise that after year this place still has it’s charms. We were warmly welcomed by 2 gentlemen who seated us. I couldn’t remember their names but they seem to be really professional and kid friendly. They advised us where to seat for more air, and in a few seconds a baby seat was already here for my son ! After taking our orders a bunch of colored pens and a paper came in by the same gentleman who brought us the baby chair! Love the proactiveness!! Being a mom this really relieved me !!! Thank you! The food was really nice and Yovanee was a great help and really attentive to our demands. Kudos, Nando’s Grand Baie!

As usual another great place to eat in Mauritius. Although we have this in the UK. You can never have enough of Nando’s. If you have time and you want to try the slight difference in flavour try this place. I did not get many pictures. But I have now But I have one of the side entrance. Plus all the new photos. And amazing shopping centre nearby. So you can get everything done in one day Friendly staff Table order and pay after you eat. Last friday I was there with my clients for dinner. I must say, from start to finish, service was superb. Wow welcoming. Unfortunately I do not remember their names, but, the waiter and waitress were caring and excellent. My clients were fully satisfied complimenting the food which was 👌. I am coming back soon. Needed a quick lunch option and this didn't disappoint! The pulled chicken burger was delicious, and my child enjoyed the grilled chicken strips and chips. I also tried a surprisingly good and refreshing lemonade and pomegranate drink. Service was good, quick and friendly. Would recommend.

Lovely service! It was full but the service was still great! Their fries topped with the cheese and chicken are amazing. They taste just like the ones from home. Their 1/4 chicken was cooked well! The chips were nice and crispy. 10/10 I'll definitely be back when I'm in the North.

You must be prepare to wait around 1 hour during rush time or festive seasons. 30 mins to have a table another 30 mins for food. The waitress was very kind and helpful thou. The menu is not very well detailed thou but the food (the one i ordered)can be rate 6/10.

As a first time client, the service has been very disappointing. I've order my meal+drink while the delivery person forgot to deliver the drink alongside. He did called, appologised about the inconvenience and informed that the delivery might take longer, but lately there was no respond at all. I WOULD RECOMMEND A TRAINING SESSION FOR SUCH STAFF. All food stuff should be value for money right ? Thats the way you build & earn customer loyalty :)

Although its festive season and staff under stress, my go to Nandos was way below satisfaction. Burger was extremelty plain and sauceless. Garlic bread had a small patch of garlic in the centre of a soft burger bun (not even grilled) Our drinks were forgotten for more than 20 minutes and wrongly taken, so ended waiting another 5-10minutes to get the right order. Shame to see a highly decorative franchise lose on quality. In South Africa its consistant with quality and maybe they need to come do some quality control soon.

Moreover, we got our chicken first and were told that we would get our sides in a few minutes. By the time we got our sides, we had already eaten our chicken... Our waiter was very nice. He did the best he could but there was one very rude waiter who walked away despite hearing us calling him.

My past experience was satisfying, but restaurant needs to keep their standard. We went there on 20th May 2023. I don't mind the long queue, it's understandable. But service was slow and food was really not to standard. The chicken was dry. Overcooked. Pita bread was hard. I won't be coming there anytime soon.

Very good food along with good service. The only setback, if at all, was if you take the outdoor seating, you might get some cute little visitors (dogs) and it can be a little uncomfortable for some. We had 3 dogs around our table pretty much the entire time.

Nando gives a fidelity card on which they give points whenever someone dines there. On 26th Sept, after dining the LA croissette Nando refused to give points on that evening's dinner. Bizarre!! If Nando does not want to give points, why the hypocrisy of fidelity card!! We could see food prepared by chef but no waiter is ready to serve. Chef called at least 10 times to serve the food. No one is bringing bill. After many requests bill came but no one is taking payment. Finally reached cash counter and paid the bill!! Food 1st class but service 3rd class!!!
