This is a small temble, but hundreds of devotees are visiting here every day. There is a beautiful pond near there, but the people are not permitted to access it. Lots of roadside shops are there to sell every thing with a double rate. Something called 'prasada' will be given to every person who believed.

Vallachira is one of the 18 Kavu temples of Kerala. There is a concept of Thattakam in Kerala and the Deity Vallachira Bhagavathi is the Thattakathamma of Vallachira and nearby villages. Kumbhabharani is the major festival of the temple. Lord Mahavishnu is also a main Deity of this temple. It is a very beautiful temple with a large pond at the front side.
