Amazing place for birding. This is my first visit and I feel like visiting this place again tomorrow. Right from Dongri road towards Uran birding site is an excellent spot for birding. Every minute you can spot a species in this place. In fact you will get to see many in that open space. A must place to visit for every birder !

You get good views of birds

We reached very late by 5pm hence couldn't comment, we found Little ringed plover and sun bird.

Good place for wetland birding

The wetlands are on verge of extinction. Govt must take action to protect it. W.r.t birding, a flock of flamingos was there at panze. Hope to see usual variety of about 125 species.

Superb Bird watching Experience....Lots of Water birds as well as other types of birds are there....Very Peaceful place in Morning at 6 AM to 8 AM....Must Visit for Photography....

Uran remains a good birding site even after widespread filling of the wetlands for the JNPT port & SEZ. Panje for waders and jnpt pond for ducks are my favorite sites. Gulls and Terms are seen in both sub-sites. Grassland birds are seen too. You need your own transportation to and from the place.
