I
went
to
the
spa
for
the
first
time
a
few
weeks
back
with
my
partner
for
our
anniversary.
The
booking
started
off
rocky.
I
had
purchased
a
gift
card
online
and
needed
to
then
call
to
book
the
specific
date.
For
almost
3
days
I
tried
to
get
a
reach
of
someone
at
the
salon
-
I
called,
left
a
facebook
message
and
emailed.
What
was
really
weird
is
that
the
phone
lines
would
not
close
after
their
closing
hours
so
I
would
accidentally
wait
while
the
phone
was
ringing
every
time.
Once
I
finally
heard
back
from
a
receptionist,
she
was
very
pleasant
and
professional.
We
got
the
Detente
Absolu
package
for
2
people
which
included
30mins
of
the
floating
bath,
1h
massage
and
1h
of
sauna
access.
The
floating
bath
was
not
what
I
expected
and
was
disappointing.
I
was
expecting
some
kind
of
individual
tech-looking
sphere
(like
photos
I
had
seen
online)
in
which
I
would
completely
float
and
feel
an
effect.
Instead
it
was
a
shallow
bath
(big
enough
for
2-3
people)
with
some
salts,
which
allowed
me
to
float
IF
using
their
floaties.
The
water
was
luke
warm
and
not
very
pleasant.
There
was
no
music
so
we
were
asked
to
put
music
on
our
own
phones.
The
massage
was
great.
We
had
requested
a
double-massage
room.
Both
masseuses
were
friendly,
professional,
and
talented.
Great
massages!
The
sauna
was
quite
nice,
feels
great
on
the
body.
However,
I
did
not
find
the
''détante''
area
very
relaxing.
It's
situated
in
a
hallway
where
staff
and
clients
walk
through.
It's
quite
small
(3
chairs
and
sofa
thing)
and
tiny
but
not
VERY
clean
(there
was
a
dirty
qtip
on
the
floor
near
me
the
whole
hour,
after
clients
would
get
up
to
get
back
to
the
sauna
the
seating
are
would
be
wet
and
sunken
in,
and
no
staff
came
to
fluff
it
up
or
tidy
up).
Overall,
I
loved
the
massage,
liked
the
sauna
and
was
disappointed
by
the
''floating''
bath.
I
missed
having
the
hot
bath
option
like
at
other
spas
I've
been
to,
so
I
don't
think
I'll
be
going
back.
