👍 I'm 2 fundamental pole classes in and love how fun the course is! I did knock of 1 star for a couple reasons. 1st. it's a little hard to find all the way in the back of a Plaza building. 2nd. there's no parking lights in the area so it's a bit scary. 3rd. on the website it says to come a few minutes... I'm 2 fundamental pole classes in and love how fun the course is! I did knock of 1 star for a couple reasons. 1st. it's a little hard to find all the way in the back of a Plaza building. 2nd. there's no parking lights in the area so it's a bit scary. 3rd. on the website it says to come a few minutes early to settle in and dress but you end up walking in on another class at some points and have no idea what to do or where to go being your fist time. 4th. the class is large and so you don't get what I consider enough time on the pole for what you pay. There are I think 8 poles and about 16 for a full class therefore a 1 hour class with warm up and cool down only gives you maybe 15 on the pile. The instructors I've seen so far are great and most of the other attendees friendly and helpful. It's a relaxed accepting feeling safe place for the most part.

So, I took the Fluffy Kitty pole class a few times and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! If you want a place where you can try something new and different and feel completely confident and comfortable, THIS IS THE PLACE! Fluffy Kitty is for the plus size, and going there made me feel confident in my own skin. Had I not aggravated a previously existing injury, I would have continued!

I tried my first pole class here since it was only $10, and the whole experience was amazing! Rose Quartz is such a kind instructor and made me feel comfortable the entire session. I’ll totally return back here when I can!

The most supportive and amazing group of people that you will ever meet. The teachers are all wonderful and great at making aerial/pole/dance accessible to everyone that comes in. I cannot recommend Defy Gravity highly enough!

I've taken a few classes here. I've always had Kyli as an instructor. She does really well teaching a class based setting, and is always willing to help people on their personal pole goals at the end of classes. It's a very cool place to check out for just a fun evening out, girls night, or bachelorette parties.

A bit hard to find if you’re new to the area. Im not sure if this is a new establishment or not, but it feels very much like it is. I walked into a small entrance where there was coat hooks and a folding partition separating that space from the pole room. I attended a Pole Fundamentals class. The instructor was so so kind and encouraging. I also really loved the atmosphere from the other students. I did not like that we were told we could wash our hands in the kitchen and then find the kitchen to be very disorganized and messy. The poles were also stationary, which made every move more painful than necessary. However, please keep in mind that I’m a beginner and it may be customary to start with stationary poles. I have attended other studios that just felt cleaner and more organized.

Wonderful instructors, they ensure that students are taking care of their bodies while still pushing them and they're very mindful of any injuries. Classes are very fun and positive.

Defy Gravity is a fun and body-positive studio! It's a great place to explore the intersections of art and fitness through dance and aerial classes. The instructors are supportive and knowledgable. Don't worry that you're not strong enough. I had no upper arm strength when I started, but made progress really quickly. It's challenging, but so fun that you won't mind some soreness the next day.

👍 I'm not a fan of where this Planet Fitness is located. At all. But, the facility is nice in that they seem to have newer machines. The interior is clean and well maintained. Also, the employees are very nice and helpful with whatever you need.

🫤 The center is open when you are studying, or working. In another words, completely useless. What kind of workout place just open when you are busy or in the class? Is useless most part of the day. The structure and equipments are good enough.

👍👍 Great place to train. Very hospitable and knowledgeable. I was in town for work, stopped in and was able to take one of their MMA classes and learned a lot about low kicks (why, how, when, etc).

👍👍 I joined Sarge about 4 months ago. Prior to Sarge, I was working out in small group gym classes, and I had a virtual personal trainer… but I was BORED. I had just moved to Frederick about a year prior, and I was missing the community and accountability I used to have with my old gym buddies. I knew...

🫤 The cost is too high if you want month to month. For a lower cost a 2 year contract is needed. It's nearly impossible to get out of unless you have a major medical issue or BUY OUT the contract. I don't like it's not staffed 24 hrs. I could never use tanning because of that at the times I wanted to...
