Located close to train station with lots of restaurants around. Room was clean with a small TV. Breakfast was great, check in time at four but I arrived at nine gentleman at reception desk told me if I wanted early check in I have to pay 20 EUR, I gladly paid it since after freshen up I can go out to explore the city.
My stay was disappointing. The room was completely bare compared to what was advertised — no bottle of water, no drinking glasses, and no basic amenities. The furniture was old and clearly not maintained. When we requested a kettle, we were asked to pick one from a cabinet near the front desk, where all the kettles were dirty. Bed lights are defect. Unfortunately, the level of service and attention to guest comfort was far below what one would expect.👎👎👎
Staff is knowledgeable & smooth check in. No car park - paid car parking around the block. Basic breakfast The hotel needs a revamp. Old smelly carpeting, Torn curtains & bad plumbing. Book it only for location convenience.
First impression of the hotel was quite shocking because the area its in is quite, dodgy? A lot of people doing shady business around the hotel area, especially after dark so just be wary of this if you want to book this hotel. Next is, the service provided by this one man at the front desk could have been better because I felt that he was quite dismissive of our questions when we first arrived, felt like he just could not even be bothered to look at us and answer. The elevator is also not in order which sucks as we had to carry our bags up to our floor, the room we got after checking in was also uncleaned and they ended up reassigning us to another room one floor up that has a faulty door. Overall, not really a pleasant stay apart from the fact its located near the main central station, which made things convenient for us to get around.
Need to be renovated. Poor lights in the room, noisy area and windows don’t close properly. Elevator didn’t work all the time. Stayed 4 nights and the picture of the remote control was taken when I left, I’m wondering if they cleaned the room during my stay. Near the station so easy to commute
Extremely Rude front desk employee ( the older guy) my friends and I booked 7 rooms this weekend to stay here and his behavior was so rough that one of my friends argued with him and cancelled his booking before checking in!! Location is the most dangerous and ghetto part of the Frankfurt. They lied about having AC in rooms and gave us small fans. One of our rooms has even issues with the windows and you couldn’t even open them ( We were there mid July and extremely hot). With not having AC and being hot we had to leave the windows open and we couldn’t sleep since it’s extremely loud out there. You can find cheaper hotels with better services and location.
Best hotel to stay at, the staff are very professional and friendly and very polite with bright smile on their face. The room was great and comfortable. The breakfast on time and delicious with many choices. The room service was great as well as the receptionist. I strongly recommend and looking forward to stay there when I’m back in Frankfurt. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great location opposite the Frankfurt train station and close to trams. The area is a little noisy. Area is a little dodgy so be careful at night. Rooms are very basic with no hot water kettle or fridge. The bathroom desperately needs serious attention including repairs and rectification of poor hygiene . Shower was very mouldy and bathroom had broken tiles. The heater did not work in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Big let down was the lift was out of order and apparently will be for sometime. We chose the hotel because it had a lift as we are traveling with lots of luggage. We were not happy!!!!!
Bed bugs! Stay away! I've attached a short video where you can see them crawling on the bed and a couple photos too, but they're harder to see in the photos. We stayed here for one night before we had a flight in the morning. Room 12 had a complete bed bug infestation. I woke up at 1 in the morning feeling extremely itchy all over. Turned on the light and there were bed bugs crawling all over the bed. We left immediately and told the night staff. He said there was nothing he could do except offer another room, but we didn't want to stay in this hotel for another minute. He gave us the manager's email, but when I emailed her the inbox was full. So terrible service and terrible management to allow a bed bug infestation to get that bad. Don't stay here!
We reached this hotel on 22nd June night after a very tiring day. But the day got horrible after reaching this hotel. The area was shaddy as lot of people were during drugs in open and the receptionist sitting there was so rude as well. We asked for kettle and table fan (it was really hot) which would have been in the at the first place. But he denied first and then gave some dirty kettle. The rooms were old and dirty. We were not able to sleep the whole night. The breakfast buffet was bad too. We checked out the next morning after breakfast though I had paid for 3 days. I would recommend everyone to avoid this hotel.
10 facts about my stay 1. Linen Caused Severe Itching – After lying on the bed for 90 minutes, I developed a severe allergic reaction, as shown in the attached photo. Fortunately, I had my own linen with me. (I was only staying here during a move) 2. Strong Smell of Smoke – Despite being a non-smoking room, the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke mixed with mold. The ventilation system in the mold-infested bathroom seemed to carry the smoke into every room. 3. No Hot Water in the Bathroom & Front Desk Refused to Help – When I reported the issue to the front desk at 7:35 PM on January 26, along with other maintenance problems, I firmly requested a solution. However, the self-centered female receptionist dismissed my concerns, stating that other guests often had the same issue. She then refused to address the problem, claiming that my firm tone was “disrespectful,” and even threatened to cancel my booking and kick me out of the hotel if I continued to speak firmly. I can assure you that while my tone was serious and firm, I never spoke disrespectfully. The hotel owner can check the security footage as evidence. It is unfortunate that such a lazy and self-centered employee is representing your establishment. 4. Receptionist Threatened to Cancel My Booking – When I accepted her offer to check out immediately, she suddenly changed her mind and refused to cancel my booking. Instead, she demanded that I return the room key and leave on my own. She also made it clear that if I stayed, I would have to accept taking cold showers in January. When I agreed to her terms, she still refused to follow through and continued trying to force me out. 5. I Was Threatened and Extorted by the Receptionist – Realizing that I couldn’t reason with her, I requested to speak with her manager. She dismissively responded, “I don’t care, you can even talk to my boss.” When I took her up on that and asked for the hotel owner’s contact information, she sarcastically told me to “go find him at the train station.” After I insisted, she reluctantly pointed to a contact information sign and told me to call the number. However, as soon as I take a picture of the contact info under her instruction, she suddenly accused me of potentially capturing her in the frame and repeatedly demanded money from me. When I refused, she threatened to search my phone and call the police. After reading the Google reviews, I saw that others were also threatened by the same way after failing to communicate with her. It’s clear that this is her usual lazy tactic, she just wants to play on her phone. 6. I Was Bitten by Bugs – Run! 7. Broken Safe – That female receptionist who I mentioned earlier refused to help, and questioned me why I only mentioned it now, it was 19:30 at the time. Because I only discovered that the safe was not working when I was about to go out for dinner. I didn’t use it the night before, so I wouldn’t have noticed. Providing me with a hotel room with unbroken amenities should be the hotel’s responsibility. 8. Blankets Smelled Like the Previous Guest – Meanwhile There is someone else’s blood on the pillow (as shown in the picture), possibly from bug bites as well. 9. Broken Heater – On my first night here, the heater in my original room was stuck on, making the room unbearably hot (feeling over 30°C). Fortunately, the male receptionist on duty that night was professional, warm, and welcoming. He promptly arranged for me to switch rooms. His attitude was the only reason I initially chose not to leave a review, as I saw the staff’s efforts and didn’t want to hurt their feelings. However, after my disturbing encounter with that female receptionist, I feel compelled to share my experience. 10. I Actually Feel Sorry for the Hotel Owner – In their defense, I understand that running an old hotel isn’t easy. Most of the staff here were nice. However, the misconduct behavior of a single employee ruined my stay. Ultimately, there are many cleaner but even more affordable accommodations nearby—do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.
