About
a
4
mile
moderate
hike
(8
miles
out
and
back)
to
a
fantastic
view
looking
down
into
Diamond
Fork
(I
think)
and
back
towards
Spanish
Fork/Mapleton.
The
trail
weaves
around
a
stream
for
a
while
and
you
hike
up
though
a
wet
rock
bed
several
times
and
also
across
several
patches
of
shale
and
dirt.
Towards
the
end
of
the
hike
you'll
go
past
two
small
meadows
and
just
before
the
end
you'll
go
up
a
steep
section
of
soft
dirt.
Trail
is
also
used
by
mountain
bikes,
dirt
bikes,
and
horses.
Trail
is
mostly
shaded
and
slightly
cooler
because
of
proximity
to
water.
To
get
through
the
trailhead
you'll
go
through
a
campground.
There
are
two
pit
toilets
and
a
water
spigot
at
the
trail
parking
lot.
