As the name suggests, It’s a very large farm - in which they run a unique restaurant with great dishes. A Pet friendly place. It has a large area for cows and cowshed there. Wonderfully maintained. There was even a picturesque Temple amidst the lush green lawn. The shop over there was good - it had all home grown food and vegetables of wide varieties. Speaking about the restaurant - it was so classy Food menu was like such a handpicked food made out from their own farm products - which was more amazing Great culinary experience - with unique tastes of food from all over India. A great place to spend your weekend

Let's get the pros out of the way. - Amazing ambience, the farm setting, the greenery, and the wanna be hippies. - The service was really quick and on time. Cons: - The food was surprisingly disappointing. We ordered a series of stuff to verify the consistency. - The pizza was the most decent one among them. - How can you mess up ice cream when you have a diary farm is beyond my comprehension? - In theory it should be cheaper or the same price as any fancy restaurant because most of them come locally. Bottomline: If you solely come for good food, this is not the place. If you don't mind spending some extra bucks with friends, family along with your pets and for a good ambience; not a bad place. I wouldn't personally go here again, just couldn't find the value for the hype.

The outdoor ambience and experience is worth a shot.. I really like the food as well. Felt super fresh and the cheese on the pizza and cheesecake were so yum!! The labneh is a must try!! The cheesecake was quite unique compared to the others you’d have. The portioning is perfect as well. Overall it’s good but definitely on the pricier side.

Went for lunch since it was the only restaurant with good ratings near Semmancheri near my friend's office. The ambience is great, very peaceful and a calm atmosphere. The food was very expensive and self service. Food wasn't that good considering the prices, it was bland without life in it. Only the dessert was good but again we didn't like the ice cream much.

Firstly let me clear this is not a review for the food. They have a new menu post the lockdowns. Is it good? Yes and no. A lot depends on you. This review is for their attitude and sad customer experience. First of all you don’t boost of any AC space (which we understand you want to give a rustic experience). Second, your attitude towards customers is rather strange. We booked a table sometime back and we were told very abruptly in a stiff tone to come on time or the table cannot be given to us. We understand your a place of demand. But, I am not dying for your food. There’s birthing great you offer that I cannot get outside at n equivalent place. We came there only out of convenience. Your place was close to everyone in my family. Since you had a new menu a few of my relatives wanted to check out what the buzz was all about. Period. There’s nothing else to that. I sincerely, believe that a good humble and rightly customer approach is needed which you’ll have kinda of ignored. Definitely the food wasn’t lip smacking for me to die for or fall at your appalling attitude. Please take care going forward. Otherwise (though this might not matter) you stand to slowly lose credible or valuable customers.

We went on Sunday afternoon as it is only open from Thursday to Sunday from 11.30 to 5. It was on my checklist from a very long time. When we went there almost 60% of the tables were empty, and we were just 2 people. But they refused to serve us. The shop is very overrated, 130 for 500gm curd.I thought if not lunch at least I can have the dessert just to taste there food. But she refused to sell me 2 piece for that also. So for me it was a bad experience after looking forward to it for almost 3 months. Hope they serve you. Go at your own risk or call them beforehand.

A bit pricey. Ambience is great. Lush greenery amidst the city. Veggies, milk, eggs organically produced in-house. tomato and basil pesto pizza was really good. Cheesecake was light and delicious. Marghazi blend coffee was awesome. Salad was not worth it.

Have always crossed this place while going to office. Looking at the reviews, decided to visit the place. The ambience was pleasant and calm. We visited the place on friday and it was almost empty. The receptionist was a warm person and the service is good. We have go to ordering place and order our food. Now, the food. Everything was bland. We had string cheese incident which was basically a cheese styled like a spaghetti pasta which was somewhat good. The deconstructed garlic bread was the worst of what we ordered. The bread was so rough that my mouth started paining from all the chewing. It just tasted raw. The paneer was just so bland. The pizza was somewhat okay. The hot chocolate could have been with less milk. The dessert caramel and toffee was good. And the masala chai was very underwhelming for the price of 299rs. Nothing special there. Herbal tea was good. If you like spicy foods, please avoid this place.

Good place to go. Foods are decent(pizza 🍕 top notch). Little bit expensive. Fat lady in the cash counter is horrible. Management please teach here how to welcome costumers with smile face.. I ask here for food suggestion, how do I know your preference like this she is rudely replying... Better change the person, your atmosphere will get better👍

Please avoid this place. The only positive thing here: the ambience The negatives: impolite people, self service of highly overpriced, bland food. They don't have waiters to take orders, you have to go stand in queue at the counter to order. Even if it's an add on item that you felt like ordering while you're eating. And mind you, this is not a budget self service eatery, but one that charges you on par with star hotels for their food! On top of that the food doesn't taste good at all..! Not just that, they don't even serve you the bill. You again go and stand in a queue to pay the bill! Definitely they could've managed better and cared better for the customer.

An amazing place to wind off a busy week. The concept itself is so refreshing and unique. The laid back restaurant is a shack that is situated inside a farm, the entrance is lined with beautiful bougainvillea trees. The menu is mostly continental with a great selection of pizzas made with their own farm made cheese and ingredients. They also have a small front shop with good selection of cheese, pickles, jams and coffee.

Visited looking at these amazing reviews online and their Instagram account but boy were we disappointed. Bland food marketed as farm fresh and organic, they are overpriced for the food and particularly the cold service they offer. Tried their pork and pizza but we were disappointed. Forget spices, they were not even seasoned properly. Average food can be overlooked if their service was friendly but they were snobbish too. Chocolate cake was the only saving grace but I have had better. Why are people recommending this place?

Pretentious food. Please trim your menu. We loved the garden though. Please don't try to do many things at once. My suggestion is stick to an Italian cafe food where things don't go wrong that easily. Also some politeness would be nice. We paid big money for underwhelming food. We could have atleast taken home some kindness .

The dining experience was great with some really unique food and an impressive selection of in-house sourced ingredients used. The ambience is super chill and perfect for a couples date or out with family and friends. Giving 4 stars only because some of the food felt under seasoned whereas a few of the popular items felt overhyped for their relative taste. Must try : Roasted chicken, onion, chilly and smoked mozzarella pizza

We had gone here for lunch at around 12 .. place was good with a pleasant ambiance and , there were lots of cows and chickens in free range. The restaurant itself was good and had thatched roof. We ordered Chaurico de Goa -pizza , chicken starter and a rice dish.. The taste was quite good but not exceptional and was a quite okay experience. But the price of the items is soo expensive and not justifiable for the quantity or quality of the food. The rice dish ( schmatlz and kohl’s -chicken rice) was 800 rs which I felt to be a robbery..

If you are looking for Goa vibe in Chennai, then this would be a must visit! Beautiful aesthetics and amazing range of choices in food! It connects you to a village and the food is freshly prepared with their in-house dairy products, fruits and vegetables.

This is an amazing place and it can burn a hole in your pocket. Once a year, I feel it's ok to do that.Great staff - very helpful. Interesting menus. Lovely ambience. The pizzas were great - Thin crust and baked well. Didn't like the ice cream much - it smelt too much like egg and I didn't like it that way. Can't comment on stay as we just visited for lunch.

Great place to hangout with friends and family (away from chennai city). It’s open only 11.30am to 6pm. Great pour over coffee and cheese place. Also try their smoked meats and pizzas at restaurants. Outdoor seating but with fans to help you manage the Chennai heat. You can also pick up fresh produce and veggies from their store.

If you want to try something new you can explore this restaurant and its menu. However this is not a budget friendly resturant. The menu is overpriced what I feel. They claim that all are organic farm fresh but still an boiled egg with bread for 400 is too high price. The ambience I found is good and can easily spend some time. One time visit okay. Recommended if you want to spend some budget about 1k per person.

Tasteful use of an actual farm, and set up wonderfully. The indoor and outdoor seating are both comfortable and intimate, with ample space between tables. Food is great! Dairy sourced in-house, and vegetables too, which makes the taste more natural than most places, and the richness and quality of the dishes are evident after the first bite! Staff are alert, and warm, helping when help is needed. Their shop next to the restaurant showcases their vast range of delicious produce and products, arranged clearly and packed well. All in all, a wonderful experience. Do take your loved ones! Enjoy your time there, like I did, and will continue to do so, every time I go in the future!

Now, this is an Urban integrated Dairy Farm. They make in-house Pizza, Cheese, Cakes and roast Coffee as well. A delectable feast of mouthwatering dishes is a sure bet right here. The outdoor seating facility here is a welcome change that lets us take in the ambiance. Location 📍 is Not far off from the City limits as well. The soothing presence of the farm animals is also a given.

It was in a very pretty location and pretty surroundings. Located over a large area of land, it had a cute rustic charm. The food was very good, albeit a little costly. They had cheese platters as well, which was unique! Enjoyed their coffees and drinks as well. Overall great food.

Went with family. The positive is the green surroundings and ambience for sure. A left turn from omr and bang you are in a village like place. Awesome! BUT... Food tastes different and nice but not great! I will not go again for the taste of the food. Thier cheese, pizzas and ice-creams were really good. Pricing is on the high high side... Did not feel that justified overall. Will I go again here just for the awesome ambience and super high priced pizzas is a question😊

The place was really good. But the food was not as we expected (Even cheese cake was not good). I’ve tried many continental foods before. But the taste of “The Farm” food was disappointed. We didn’t like the taste ( Especially chicken platter is the worst amount all) . Maybe others might like the taste. So give it a try. The restaurant name “The Farm” Justifies the place and ambience of the restaurant. Go with your family or loved ones or friends to experience the farm ( Trees and plants 💚).

First of all the ambience is one you will not get in any other restaurant on OMR. Nothing extra ordinary about the food. It is average and price is obviously on higher end. Pizza is the one thing which I liked there. Felt it was fresh and served hot. Other dishes tried were garlic bread, beef cutlets and devilled chicken sausage. It has nice surroundings which are eco friendly. We also were taken on a tour of the small portion of the farm. You can check with them for same. They also have one farm fresh product shop in there. Do check it out. Overall it's a nice place to visit with family and friends. It's not only food but ambience too.

It's great for experiencing a beautiful nature filled atmosphere. The food was good but expensive. The paneer fingers was good but lacked spice. The pizza is incredible and tastes super good. The ricotta chocolate ice cream is to die for. I also recommend the strawberry smoothie. The service was ok at best as we have to go to the counter every time we want to order. The place looks amazing and there is a lot of nature to get some stunning photos.

One of the places in Chennai which I will keep visiting often is The Farm, even though it's a tad bit far for us. The food my gosh no words to explain, my mouth is watering just at the thought of it. Must try the pizza- one of the best pizzas I have had till now. The desserts make you keep coming back for more. Love their zero-waste and sustainability concept is setting a benchmark and a model for those who want to get with it.

After hearing loads about the place, we decided to drive down for lunch on the 31st of December for a relaxing afternoon before the New Years craze. We didn't have a reservation but we're easily accommodated. The place had a wonderful vibe for chilled out brunches with families and friends. Loads of greenery and there was even a cow shed where we assumed they made their famous cheese from. Overall, the place had a very rustic vibe. The only major disappointment was the food. We ordered vegetarian only, and honestly, it was very underwhelming. All the 3 dishes we ordered were very okay, and for the high prices were below average. It could be a different experience for non vegetarians as they had a very extensive menu of meat dishes which we didn't try. The cheese dish ( Crumb fried Mozzarella ) we ordered was okay a little too fatty and was served cold, couldn't have more than 2 pieces. The pizza ( Mushroom ), though very inviting, was not up to the mark in terms of the taste. Finally, the kimchi fried rice was abysmal. We did enjoy the hot chocolate, and the drip coffee had a very unique taste that we liked. So, if you are planning to drive down to OMR for the overpriced food, I would recommend skipping it and going to many more interesting options. You can enjoy the good vibes, though.

It's better to book the table early if you are planning to visit on weekend. The menu is limited and the price is on upper end for the food served. Ideal for dates and family get-together..

It is extremely costly. One aloo paratha quartered as 4 pieces costs 600rs.for eg. Though there are many tables, one needs to wait for a long time to be allowed to be sit, dunno why. The taste is good, but still not worth the price. The only thing good about the restaurant is the farm walk, which allows us to feed the animals, pet them, even horses.. And a vegetable farm.

We were very keen in visiting this place again in Chennai. Situated on omr road, this place is just the thing you need in the middle of everyday chaos I.e. peace. Beautiful property, it's a huge farmland with separate huge enclosures for cows. You ll get to see cats , dogs , hens roaming around freely. My toddler had a good time enjoying the views. Big property enough that you can roam around by walking. Full of trees and flora and fauna. All the food they have in their menu is mostly organic, I e. They have homegrown it all in their farm. We tried multiple items, including prawns , Pineapple, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and chicken pizza, various cakes, toffees, Pork roast etc. And everything was beautiful 😍 An experience in itself, Definitely a must visit when you are in Chennai.

The farm is a pleasant break from conventional restaurants in Chennai. The place must be high on your list if you are: 1. In Chennai (duh). 2. Love the outdoors. 3. Willing to splurge a premium. It’s not a restaurant review without talking about the food, so let me get it done with - The food is very good, but be careful before you order. It’s easy to order something that might not suite your taste ( not the restaurants fault ). The menu has unique but blissfully tasty options interspaced with hidden (unpleasant) surprises. Everything you eat is prepared with locally sourced/grown & the freshest ingredients. This is not only the USP of “The Farm”. , but also something for which the proprietors and staff feel immense pride. Food aside, I couldn’t help but marvel at the location, it lives upto it’s name. You are going to love to spend hours with your friends and loved ones. Beverages need more work (though must admit that I couldn’t try the cold filter coffee) P.S Great place to take your kids ( though there aren’t any kids specific activities ).

Went in for a late lunch..wanted to eat peacefully where there was no crowd and this place for perfect for that..there was a large garden with lots of trees and flowers..the ambience inside was nice too with retro rock, table fans and picnic like tables..the pizza was too good. A little on the pricey side but a worthwhile visit if you want to enjoy the experience also and not just the food. Very child friendly as well!

Continental food. The taste is fine. I want to try different tastes. They should fine tune the price for Indian customers. Charging like a 5 star hotel. Otherwise a good restaurant but not everyone likes it. I recommend this restaurant if you wanna try new different tastes.

Had lunch (Veg) and was happy. Don't set expectations like regular pizza outlets. You will definitely love the pizzas from the farm. Very carefully crafted menu and food. I definitely recommend it for a family lunch. Please check with them about the items/ingredients before order it. Drinks and juices options are limited to few. We loved Strawberry milk shake.

The good is okay, I would not say it is bad but taste is not up to the mark for the price paid. I was only disappointed with the cats roaming around while eating. This is fun for cat lovers but what about those who are not comfortable. And boy if you order any non veg, they come under your table and try to jump. This is very uncomfortable and the food is pricey!

The farm is a lovely place with delicious food. The price is quite high, but definitely worth the food. They have a wide range of variety, including pizza, steak and rice. They also have a small shop where they sell vegetables and some books (if you're interested). The main attraction is the tour of the farm, where visitors can see all the animals that are present there, which would be entertaining for some children and adults. The whole place gives a peaceful atmosphere, and the greenery makes for some very good photos.

Great for a little excursion out of the city on a lazy Sunday morning for brunch. It comes with an organic vegetable store that also sells cheese produced on site using vegetarian rennet - good news for lacto-vegetarians. Good selection of cakes and cookies too. If you are in Chenmai for one day and if you can visit just one place, visit The Farm. One of the best places across the four metros in India where you can have a relaxed lunch surrounded by greenery and amazing vibes. The food itself is rustic yet sophisticated - a very difficult feat to pull off. Have visited quite a few times but never had one dish which was not an A+. The on site organic shop selling farm fresh produce is an added incentive.

We reached there at 2pm for lunch, but there is a huge waiting time. Got the table at 3pm and food at 3.45pm. Also, I dint find the food any different, it was just ok. Being pregnant, it was very irritating. I was just starving like hell. Would not like to visit again.

"The Farm" in OMR is one of the best restaurants to go with kids on a weekend. There are so much of herbal plants and trees everywhere. It looks like the restaurant is built in the middle of the garden. From the main entrance till the door of the restaurant, along both sides many colorful varieties of Bougainvillea has been planted which are a treat to our eyes . The Farm has shelter for different varieties of cows, goat and other animals. Fresh paneer is being prepared in front of us too and it's for public sale too. They take us for a farm tour by walk for every half an hour where we can visit their garden and animal shelters. Three variety of beans, snake gaurd, ladies finger and many greens varieties are being grown in the farm. All the vegetables are so fresh and organic. Must try are the Buttermilk, stuffed mushrooms, garlic bread and anything made out of milk. Since they own a Goshala (Cow Shelter) inside the farm, the curd varieties are of top notch. Kids can have a great time over there on a weekend and obviously we need to wait a long time to get a table. Meanwhile you can prepare the menu list to be ordered. Menu card (needs a special mention here) looks like an antique age old book and you can spend an hour easily to read and understand them :)

The place is actually really zen...in a farm and with fresh farm produce. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only problem is that they have no vaporizers or Airconditioners and that's very very uncomfortable!
